Osoyami Bar and Grill, a hidden gem tucked away in a cozy corner, is a must-visit for sushi enthusiasts. Despite its unassuming exterior, this place delivers on flavor and quality.I started with their carpaccio, which was a delightful symphony of flavors. The oyster shooters were a refreshing treat, and the chawanmushi was a savory delight. The salmon kama was larger than I expected, perfectly cooked, and incredibly satisfying. I also couldn't resist trying their hand rolls and chicken wings from the bar menu, both of which were delicious. If you're seeking authentic Japanese cuisine in a casual setting, Osoyami Bar and Grill is a hidden gem that won't disappoint.

Every have one of those nights where bar food just hits the spot? Osoyami hits all the spots. First of all, it's hard to find a GOOD spicy ahi nachos. I have to say this is one of my favorites - top three. Home made thing won ton chips, sweet unagi and fresh spicy ahi - YAS! The wings were great - got the BBQ with ranch to dip. I love a good BBQ burger, and their Western BBQ Burger did not disappoint. I asked to add jalapeños which just took it to the next level - and they made is smash burger style which was the chefs kiss. Lastly we finished off with the loaded tots - what can I say - yum.

This place is like 2 restaurants in one. They offer great quality sushi and great quality Burgers and fries. The prices are very reasonable and on par with most sushi bars. They even have a Vegan Menu. You'll find dart boards, and video games inside. The staff here is really friendly and very attentive. If you are looking for a bar scene to visit with good quality food, this is the place for you. The only negatives about this place is that the parking lot is very small with limited street parking. It can also get a bit noisy but that's kind of what you expect for a bar type restaurant with bar tables and booths.

Ono bar food in McCully.......My good friend - da FAMOUS Auntie - Nadine C. had invited me for meal at this place called - "Izakaya Hideyoshi", but she told me that da Izakaya joint was inside a place called - Osoyami Bar & Grill.Small kine confusing, yeah? But don't let that deter you from coming here, as it's totally worth it my friend!Luckily she mentioned "Osoyami Bar & Grill", then I knew exactly where this place was, as it's just down the street from my office. I had passed by this bar for many years, but never stopped by this business to see what it was all about.Upon walking into Osoyami Bar & Grill, it's your typical bar environment - Large T.V.'s playing sports, a few Dart Machines, dark atmosphere, but clean environment with many booths. The menus for both Osoyami Bar & Grill and Izakaya Hideyoshi is on the booth tables, as you need to scan the QR codes to look at the menus.Although the Izakaya Hideyoshi menu looked good, I was mostly fascinated with da bar food at Osoyami Bar & Grill.I ordered the following items -1. Chicken Wings w/garlic soy chili sauce to share with da gang.2. Garlic Fries to share with da gang.3. Fried Kimchi Potstickers to share with da gang.4. And from da Vegan Menu - a Vegan Teriyaki Burger that had lettuce, tomato, onion, vegan cheddar cheese, pickles, ketchup, & mustard. What can I say about the grub?Although the pupus I ordered to share was F.A.B.U.L.O.U.S., da star of da show was that Vegan Teriyaki Burger!!!8 years ago, you wouldn't catch Bruddah Fran eating a vegan burger, but times change, and I must say it was one of the BEST fake burgers I've ever eaten!!! The fake meat was so soft, great bun, and of course all the other crap that was loaded into that burger made it mouth watering ono!!!I inhaled that burger in no time, and shamefully did not offer a sample to my friends. Sorry........my bad! Lol!Service here was on point, as the staff here was friendly, and the waitresses brought out our food pretty quickly, and removed the empty baskets when we were done eating in a timely fashion.TIP - Osoyami Bar & Grill has a Happy Hour menu. The special $5 dollar items, as well as $3 drinks are daily only up till 7:00 PM (note, Osoyami opens up at 6:00 PM). On Sunday, the Happy Hour prices are all day long (as seen on the menu). Overall, Osoyami Bar & Grill exceeded my expectations! Much MAHALO Auntie for da invite & grub!

This place is such a hidden gem! Love the food, love the service, and love the vibe! This bar serves as a regular pub + izakaya. They have different menus and both menus are available all night long until last call. I've been here a couple times already and we love to come here for dinner and drinks, and to play some darts!I think we'll become regulars as they have the most affordable price for beers I've seen on the island.

I LOVED this place!!!We found ourselves out in the beautiful Oahu waters until sunset almost every day so by the time we got back to the hotel and ready for dinner, many places were closing in Waikiki. This turned out to be actually a blessing because it made us go off the walkable strip and try some other really incredible businesses in the area.Osoyami has SO much to offer! You wouldn't know driving by this quiet street that it is a total vibe inside. We were greeted by a friendly face and a really fun energetic ambiance. There are TVs playing sports, free arcade and dart games, a full bar, and reaaaally good food. There were so many plant-based items it was exciting looking through the menu.We ended up getting the Osoyami Moscow Mule and Rogue Dead Guy Ale to drink - both great! For food we got the: Vegan Western Cheeseburger that reminded me in the best way of an elevated Burger King rodeo cheeseburger, hello childhood! Vegan Furious Burger which was spicy and a little messy - again, in the best way. Garlic tots (soooo good soooo garlicy) and basket of fries. If we weren't so tired we could've stayed a lot longer to enjoy more games n drinks. Really enjoyed this spot!

I just had to update my review as the last was with a besties girl's night and it was the perfect place to wind down your day....Mari T an awesome karaoke enthusiast suggested Osoyami as it's FREE on Monday and Tuesday from 8pm to 1am...FREE!! The group assembled Nadine, Ben, Mari and her friend (sorry I forgot her name) though I was called to work so arrived a bit late but made it my mission not to miss out on tonight and just as she does ordered a bunch of her favorites and look what we got!! Loaded Tots, Garlic Fries, Poke Nachos, Buffalo Fries, Pepperoni flatbread and Taquitos.A couple friends already ate and Nadine C had ordered their famous burger so it was me and Mari to chomp it all and I think we did pretty well lol!! Gosh so much yumminess put me in a food coma.I had invited a known karaoke looooooover friend who was definitely coming and was surprised not to see him only to realized later he was there but was sitting alone in the corner OMG! He apologized and realized he was much shyer than he though lol! Well we all need to take one step at a time and that alone is a huge and the song list btw is amazing along with Osoyami and their staff is just the place to sing your heart out!Thank you!

Continuing on my search for the best poke nachos in Honolulu, I came across Osoyami Bar & Grill on Yelp. When I arrived a little before 6pm, there were a number of people waiting in their cars for the bar to open, which certainly was a good sign. The neighborhood itself, however, had some sketchy characters. I probably wouldn't stop by on my own in the late evening. They're open from 6pm - 2am, with happy hour from 6-7pm.Upon entering, I realized it was your typical bar and grill with dark walls, loud music, and booths that have been well loved. I came here for one thing and one thing only... their poke nachos! It arrived to my table within 10 minutes and it was a huge plate of spicy ahi poke, wonton chips, kabayaki sauce, spicy sauce, furikake and green onions for $16. Clearly this plate is meant to be shared, but since I was by myself I finished nearly the whole plate! The poke nachos had crispy chips (although they didn't appear to be wonton chips), spicy ahi that was not very spicy, and lots of sauce and green onions. You really can't go wrong with all of these ingredients combined! It's not the "best" poke nachos I've ever had, but it was very good and I'd definitely recommend it! They had a variety of other bar pub food items on their menu, including a few vegan items.Service was decent. The food came out fast and they checked on me at least twice. I didn't order any drinks but their menu seemed to have a good variety of beers, spirits and cocktails. It's definitely worth a stop!

We came here on a Friday. It wasn't too crowded yet and we just missed the happy hour. Pretty nice place with darts and old school video games. They had 2 menus, one with sushi and the other one are more like bar food. They also got a vegan menu which was awesome!!!We ordered spicy tuna roll, fries, kimchi dumplings. I also got the spicy vegan burger and it was yummy. Dumplings was good with a little kick and I believe the fries had Parmesan and pepperoni. I will definitely be back during happy hour!
