Is it Ono Local Foods or Ono Local Grindz? Either way us Waipahu folks scored at this place. They have a Breakfast Menu - served all day. Their Lunch Menu includes 4 daily specials along with their daily lunch plates for $7.50. They also have burgers, a variety of sandwiches, and side orders (fried noodles, fried rice, French fries, sweet potato fries, garlic fries). I read that their Garlic Chicken was a "must" so we checked it out.We tried the "Breakfast Deluxe" which comes with rice, 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 pc. Portuguese sausage, 2 spam, 2 garlic chicken, and 1 hotdog - all for $7.50! We upgraded with Fried Rice for an additional $2 - well worth it! Great "hole in the wall" drive in.

These guys serve a very crispy, succulent garlic chicken. I must admit I like their garlic chicken better than Sugoi's or Mitsu-Ken. You have to give these guys a try if your in Waipahu. They also opened a sports bar next to their take out restaurant.

Been awhile since I been here. It's tucked away in the industrial area of Waipahu so unless you look for it you're not gonna find it. The ownership has changed but the food is still tasty! The place has now expanded to connect the bar with the grill. The new owners were super friendly. I ordered the garlic chicken, which is still crispy, moist and full of flavor. I also had their Lechon which was served crispy and with diced tomatoes and onions. If you're in the area be sure stop by.

Two words: "GARLIC CHICKEN"The prices for the portions are amazing. Definitely the best tasting, cheapest, plate lunch place in Waipahu. YOU MUST EAT THEIR GARLIC CHICKEN!!!

Garlic chicken and fried noodles was great !! Garlic chicken would have been AWESOME, if some extra sauce was furnished in small container. The garlic chicken was a little dried out, on the long drive home. My daughter had the Breakfast Deluxe and wife had Kalua w/cabbage and Laulau combo. Great food.

Kalua Pig was good not to Oily. gave plenty. garlic chicken is winnas with the fried rice or Noodles.

we tried the oyster sauce kalbi, it wasn't the greatest :( meat was really tough, but the garlic chicken is always the best!!
