Visited twice in the past couple of weeks. The storefront provides pasta portions ( for two ) and sauces. Onda Pasta & Provisions also provide imported food items and drinks with their factory in the back. They've been open for almost a year.A bit pricey, but worth it for simple, quality ingredients. Initial visit, I picked up their Pomodoro sauce and Spaghetti packages. The sauce was a bit bland but preferred over something that is too salty or artificial. You can't really go wrong with this classic combination.Today, I got the Basil Pesto and Tagliatelle pasta.Metered street parking is available in front of their store. A small praking lot - shared with Brick Fire Tavern and Leahi Health - is in the back of the building...accessible via 9th Avenue.

Happy National Spaghetti Day...Something comforting than a hot bowl of pasta with toppings and sauce of your choice and we do have many great places to get that craving covered though did you know that you can do that in your own home as well.Come check out Onda Pasta & Provisions in Kaimuki right on Waialae is this cute shop that's filled with fresh pasta in various shapes and sauces and when I walked in the whiff I got me drooling woah what's cooking! It's not just pasta you'll find here but various merchandise that are fun and unique which can make great basket fillers along with sweets, condiments, Panettone and yes fresh pasta and pasta sauces as well. The staff is a friendly as I browsed around looking at all the various items they have and talked about some of the cool items they have the vibe here is the place for some unique Italian items in the convenient Kaimuki location though parking is metered street and is probably the biggest struggle it's worth the visit for a cool and unique shopping experience.Thank you!

So this will be kind of long, but to sum it up I absolutely love their pasta (I bought a few bags to try & I even went ahead and bought their homemade sauce which was really good), but I don't know if I'll be coming back anytime soon nor will I be recommending this place to our friends due to the horrible customer service we received from one person. There's a specific girl that was working when me and my other half walked in the first time we went to check it out. The place had just opened that day but we were the only two in there. Right off the bat, she walks into their back room before we even had a chance to say hello. We figured "ok, maybe it's cause we're the first ones there and she was busy with something," and continue to look around. We decided to ask her about the pasta because it's our first time looking around. Safe to say, she must've not wanted to interact with us because she kept the answers very short with only one or two word responses. It wasn't really enough to help us answer our questions so we just decided to walk out and come back when the owners returned. I would've been more inclined to buy something but it's hard when the first face you see in an establishment looks like we inconvenienced her and acted like it with the tone of voice and attitude. Second time, I decided to give this place another chance and walked in by myself since there was another lady there. Different person, but definitely made all the difference. She was sweet, friendly, welcoming and not only answered my questions but gave me recommendations with what sauce and pasta I should try together. I bought the most when she was there. Wish I got her name, but I did describe the other woman who me and my other half possibly met out first time and she seemed to be sure it was a lady named Maya, so at least we had a name. We went in again to try out more pasta and Maya was working. Again, not very attentive to us, seemed to not be quick to help us even through we were browsing for a good min. The final straw was hearing her help an older woman who walked in and her tone of voice was so much nicer and friendlier to her. Then the moment we went to check out she was quiet and changed up her tone. I'm not too sure if it's because we are gay and she had some kind of issue with that or what but we weren't rude or anything to her so I'm not sure what caused her attitude or behavior towards us. It's a shame because I'd like to assume the owners are very passionate about their business and care about their customers which shows through their employees, but I can't bring myself to want to tell others about this place if there's a chance they'll have her to help them.

Onda Pasta & Provisions is a cute little store with lots of Italian specialty goods and of course homemade pasta! It's a little pricey at $7 or $8 a package with each package serving 2 people, but compared to the price you would pay for homemade pasta in a restaurant it's well worth it for a splurge night. We tried both the plain and basil rigatoni. They were both good but tasted the same, so unless you're just looking for the green tint I would save a dollar and go for the plain one. The pasta had a nice bite and was easy to cook. We didn't try their sauces, but they also had a few different containers of homemade sauce available for purchase.Whether you're looking for a nicer gift for a foodie or chef or just want some delicious pasta to take home, this is the perfect place to stop into!

I found this little gem of a store on Waialae avenue tucked right next to CPB bank. A small store with many special items that one could use to prepare specialty dishes with or give as gifts. They don't have food to serve but there are a lot of make at home or heat and serve products. I got a few of their amaretti cookies for the office. I am hoping for some seasonal panettone and will be on the lookout. Hopefully I can try some of their pastas and sauces in the future.

Feels so good to buy local fresh made pasta. Simply delicious. Gravy (sauce) and a fresh pasta dinner for 2 for only $13-$19 dollars total (depending on the type of pasta and sauce you buy) cannot be beat here on island. A simple and delicious piece of Italy here in our community. Try the tiramisu too! It is sooo good. The employees are very friendly and helpful. Super cute store. Looking forward to trying more deliciousness from this shoppe.

They have a lot of options to choose from and tons of ingredients to go with their noodles.I really enjoyed my first visit and played it safe with the spaghetti noodles. They cooked perfectly and absorbed flavor well. Good consistency, too.I visited again and picked up another type and excited to try.I brought home tiramisu and shared it - both of us agreed it was also very delicious.Staff was very enthusiastic and friendly as well. Happy I stopped by and looking forward to the next thing I try!

Cute pantry/dry goods stop, bright and welcoming! Treated my friends to their fresh pasta (available in their fridge/freezers) instead of sweets to show my thanks. Cooked the bucatini and sweet potato gnocchi myself and I'm now spoiled and addicted to the textures. Packages seemed each good for two servings when built into a meal. Will visit another time to peruse their tinned fish and other stock.

this place is a gem! I don't think I understood good pasta until right this moment. It's so nice to sit here on a Friday evening, across from my husband and my dogs sleeping at my feet eating this meal. The perfect way to start the weekend. this is our new Friday routine. Mahalo
