Onaona

Really delightful bingsoo spot! We tried the black sesame bingsoo and the injulmi bingsoo. Both were so plentiful and generous, great mochi, there was some yogurt on top! The shaved ice has the classic milky sweet taste. There is also a to go option!There were only a few tables for indoor seating. Parking was great because it was in the Ala Moana mall.

We were up by Macys in Ala Moana shopping center and stopped to try Onaona Mango Bingsu (shaved ice). Not good... the mango was a little tart, there was really no taste to the shaved ice and the cheese in there surprised me. LOLService was slow, took about ten minutes. If you want good shaved ice and you're at Ala Moana shopping center? Walk downstairs by center stage and eat at Jejubing Dessert Cafe.

A small mixed menu of items...breakfast, dessert, drinks, snacks-trendy foods in bear glasses, croffles.Opening early is a plus, but I'd probably skip the $15 salmon bagel. Taste was heavy on the onions and a little disappointing considering the price. Looked like a preformed disc of salmon cream cheese on a bagel. They probably could have fooled me if they spread the cheese on the bagel instead of putting that cheese disc on. Taste ok, visually unappealing.Service quick and friendly.

One of the best dessert places in Ala Moana, got to try their new açaí! Sweet tooth cravings :)

It's pretty pricey for desserts, but I always end up getting something from here because it's high quality. Love their croffles with different toppings. :)

Jericho has amazing customer service. Clean area and the foodWas fresh and delicious. My granddaughter loves the strawberry milk. They would have gotten a 5 star except there was a female working with a bad attitude. She madeThe whole experience less enjoyable.

This small shop is located by the Lanai in Ala Moana. They serve a number of items such as bingsu and croffles. We wanted to try the croffles so we got the mango and banana croffles. The service was pretty quick and the place was clean. There are a few tables inside but not much seating. There is more seating in the Lanai though. The croffles were nice and sweet. We liked the mango one more than the banana one, which we did not enjoy a whole lot because we did not feel that the banana, chocolate, and croffle paired as well as the mango and croffle combo.

Refreshing Lemonade at Ala Moana Center in Honolulu, Hawaii...We were actually searching for dessert. I looked at the samples of bingsu on display in the window of Onaona and walked into the cozy shop. I asked the cashier (Ann) if the bingsu has dairy in it... yes - because there's milk in the ice that they shave... shucks!I switched gears to the bear-shaped containers of Lemonade. The yellow bear contains original Lemonade. The red Lemonade has strawberry flavor. The blue Lemonade tastes like cotton candy. I chose the Red bear... yummy and cute!Seating is limited inside, but there's more outside. You could even take your purchases to The Lanai Food Court across the way where it's air-conditioned. The food displays are attractive. I wanted to get several items - like the Avocado Croffle Sandwich and the overnight oats - but we were on our way to dinner... I'll be back!P.S. Ann is a really good employee. She knows her products and explains everything well... with much patience! Thank you, Ann!

Ona in Hawaiian is sweet...Oh and how sweet it is! Onaona is a tiny shop right across Macy's and the first thing you'll see is the cute display of waffles topped with various items.Walking in at the perfect moment as they have just three tables I was able to capture one so that we have a moment to enjoy as The Lanai food court was quite crowded and busy sitting in this cute shop was the perfect place to chill.Since my first visit a few months ago I did notice a few new items besides the waffles or bingsu was some cute drinks a little bear shaped cup that looked just like Brown and was filled with Matcha Milk was something I couldn't resist and though the Matcha wasn't as strong for me it was a nice and refreshing drink.The single staff that managed the front was just amazing answered many questions from each customer and making mostly drinks that looked just like pictured is so cool besides their bingsu and waffle it's a lovely place to chill.Thank you!

One of many dessert options at Ala Moana Mall.There are plenty of selections. Tried the cereal waffle and their black sesame shaved ice.Cereal waffle was very good. Not overly sweet but sweet enough to satisfy your cravings l. The waffle is made fresh - nice crunch yet moist. Goes very well together with the cereal and the whipped cream.The black sesame shaved ice was good as well. Portion is big so definitely shareable. The red beans, mochi, ice cream and the rest of the toppings went well together.Service is not fast and items are made to order. So expect some wait time. Inside seating is limited as well but of course, you can always find a seat outside or in the food court.We'll try the other flavors/items next time!
