Went to a dinner at a relative's house and they had hired a set of private chefs called "On The Fly". When asked why "On The Fly", they said that they will create dishes on the fly as requested.They come to your home and will cook Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner cooked to order or they will plan a menu according to your tastes and budget.On the menu tonight:Small Bites, Steak Carpaccio Sushi with Onion Comfit and Balsamic Reduction.Starter:Nalo Farms Lychee Mixed Green Salad with a Passion Fruit Vinaigrette.Entrees:"Chinatown" Steamed Snapper with Asian Chimichuri with a Ginger Garlic Infused Oil.Macadamia Nut Encrusted Catch with a Coconut Beurre BlancTenderloin Sliced Accompanied wit a Red Wine Natural Demi-Glace.Sides:Myer Lemon RisottoSaffron RiceForbidden RiceAssorted Summer Vegetable PlatterDessertBrûlée Apple Banana Fosters Ala ModeEverything was excellent. Better than Caterers since they cook the food fresh in your kitchen.

For our daughter's wedding/family vacation in December, we chose to simplify, free up our time and hired 'On The Fly' private chefs Jason, Ryan and Davin to prepare our meals at our rental vacation house. Before we left Oregon we had planned adult & children meals. Our arrival, we were greeted by 3 energetic, excited Chefs who welcomed us as if we were old friends, we engaged in conversation and we enjoyed their presence in the kitchen. Each meal was exciting & presented as a piece of delicious art. These guys anticipated our activity and prepared the unexpected picnic lunch with us for the wedding on the beach. The wedding dinner was a class act presentation in the comfort of our home. We enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinners served by these 3 amazing Chefs and support staff, we want to thank them for the wonderful experience. I surely will do it again. :)

This private chef did so amazing at my relatives house !! I came over with friends and family , we were ready for a feast and starving ....the preperation , presentation and taste was so unique !!! The Chef and his crew made it a day we all wont forget , it was stunning how he pulled together the dishes , gave us choices to our dishes and was so good !!

They were exactly what I wanted. I was hosting a baby shower and rather then the usual friend and family potluck I wanted someone with the ability to do all the work from start to finish. I did not want to be stuck in the kitchen. I just wanted to be totally engaged in the party and surrender the kitchen, food planning, preparation, serving, and yes the clean up to qualified help!Chef Ryan's response to my initial barrage of emails were always prompt, friendly, and helpful. He provided much needed assistance in finalizing a menu that was appropriate to the theme of our event. On the day of...the entire crew showed up and went to work. Everything that was served was fresh and prepared in my kitchen from fruits kabobs and salads, multiple appetizer and entree like dishes, as well as the desserts. They served and replenished the food as needed and what I appreciated was a clean spotless kitchen when they left. All of my friends and family raved about the "fancy "food" because it was a nice departure from the usual local family style potlucks. As one aunty put it, it was casual sophisticated food with local flair! Another Chinese aunty, "too good da food. I think this da best party at your house."Because this was a baby shower it was an all girls party. So it did not hurt that Chef Ryan, Chef David and Chef Jason were handsome, articulate, talented, young men. Wouldn't you want someone like this in your kitchen? Heck yeah! Eye candy for the afternoon. And their lovely female pastry chef who was cranking out multiple homemade desserts was also a sweetie pie! Thanks to the crew at On The Fly! Hope we can do it again soon!

Chef Davin and Chef JasonCreated a fantastic meal for us (7 guests) on our wedding renewal in Laie on the 8th. of Jan. 2015. This is by far the best meal we have had in Hawaii and they were so enjoyalble to have in the kitchen. The even prepared breakfast for us, for the next morning with the leftovers.Thank you Davin and Jason for making our day so specialI highly recommend On the Fly Private Chefs.

We were invited to a dinner party and this was our first time we had a private chef cook dinner for us. We had Chef Jason Park with his colleague Davin. The presentation of the meal was amazing but even more important the food prepared for us was out of this world!!! There professionalism and there passion for cooking food has won over any 5 star restaurant in Hawaii. One more important piece they come to you no hassles with trying to find parking or having to wait for service because you are there only customers. We diffidently will be having them in the future.

We used Chefs on the Fly with Chef Jason Park with his colleague Davin. It doesn't get any better than this! Our dinner party was such a success because of these two fine gentlemen. Most of us have lived here for 20+ years and all agree their masterpieces rival any fine dining restaurant in Honolulu. Their service was impeccable (they even left the kitchen cleaner than they found it). Their meal presentation was phenomenal and the taste even better! You would be hard pressed to find any harder working, talented individuals who also have such passion for what they do. We highly recommend Jason and will be using him again.

On The Fly is AWESOME!!! This was me and my fiancé's first private chef experience and we are soooo happy!!! They arrived right on time and were super professional, friendly, and efficient in their work. And the food... how should I describe the food... ONO-LICIOUS, AMAZEBALLS, A LIL PIECE OF HEAVEN IN MY MOUTH!!! We had oyster shooters, sashimi, Caprese salad, panko-crusted ahi, poached lobster, ribeye in butteryaki sauce, kimchi mashed potatoes, and fruit Bavarian cake for dessert. The quality of their dishes rank top level in all aspects: taste, texture, freshness of ingredients, and presentation. On The Fly went above and beyond in creating a one-of-a-kind romantic and fancy dinner date for me and my fiancé. I didn't even need to dress up for this date... I dined in my house clothes lol. Also, after they cleaned up and left, I swear the kitchen looks cleaner now than it was before they came. If a catering service or private chefs is what you're looking for, go with On The Fly!!!
