The local Hawaiian jeweler we planned to go to was closed the week between Christmas and the new year so we Yelped other jewelry stores nearby and Olivia's was the first place we happened upon. While it's clear that this store caters to the Japanese tourists, we had friendly and helpful service (we were the only ones in the store) and both women helped us to size and try on koa style rings for my hubby. He found one he liked ($189) and when I mentioned I still wanted to check out the local jewelers when they reopened, the seasoned jeweler offered the ring to us at $100 saying, in her broken English that it was his size. She was right, he was in love, and we bought that very ring. Here's to the next 20 years of wedded bliss!

Price: (3.5) $$$$ - out of - (5) $$$$$None of their products could be called cheap, but the quality is definitely there. They really know their stuff so be prepared by researching a bit on your own.Service: The location in Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center has recently closed, but they do have an online store. They are also on social media, so you should check them out.Parking: Validation given with purchase. As of May 2021, 3 hours of parking are given for a validation.Lots of parking spaces in the Royal Hawaiian Parking. However, parking does fill up rather quickly.Suggestions: Olivias has beautiful stones and gem jewelry. Rings and necklaces are unique to their store so it's good to take your time.Overall Rating: 4/5

While in O'ahu last week, I purchased a silver cuff bracelet with a plumeria design. I did a lot of comparison shopping before I purchased at Olivia's and am very happy with the price, weight of the bracelet and the plumeria design.I would definitely go back next time we are there.

Located on the 2nd floor (Building B) of Royal Hawaiian Center, next to Doraku Sushi. Not impressed. Sorry to have to say this, but the salesperson working there - very unprofessional. Here's the story:So I have been looking for an angel wing pendant. I have seen one in another jewelry store but it was ridiculously expensive and the size of the angel wing was too large for me. Since then I have been checking to see if other jewelers carry something similar in their shop.So here I go in, knowing that this is a very touristy jewelry shop. I walk around, looking at their jewelry. The ladies are oh so happy to see me and they of course swarm like vultures waiting for their meal. I tell them that I'm searching for an angel wing pendant in gold. They say "no.....we don't have an angel wing pendant..." I tell them that I saw one at XXXX but wanted a smaller size and one possibly less expensive. Then the one lady goes "No, we don't have. You should go back to that store and get it there."Thinking maybe she was just being helpful, I say "Yes, but it's too big for me. I need one that is smaller"The lady once again goes "Sorry. You REALLY should go to the other store if you want an angel wing pendant"............ ? WTFI said "Thank you" and walked out. Wow - never seen a store really PUSH this hard, insisting that I buy something at a jeweler elsewhere. Nice. Not even showing me other pendants that I may like? Nope. If I wanted to buy the angel wing pendant that I saw at the other jeweler, I would have bought it. Why would I be looking around in other stores if I liked the one I saw? Think. Bright one. Also, maybe if you listen to what I just said, you would understand that I told you that the one I saw was TOO BIG, and I have also said that I am looking for something a little less expensive. Why don't people listen before they open their mouth?

My experience with Olivia Hawaiian Jewelry was great. My boyfriend and I stopped in to browse, mainly because my name is also Olivia. The sales woman directed us to the brand specific "Olivia" items and showed us different rings that suited our color preferences. She also showed us the customizable rings for future purchases. She volunteered to have sizing and engraving rushed (as we are on vacation). Having tiny hands, I found it incredible they had 4.5 sizes available in store and I did not have to have the ring sized. The rose gold ring features a flower and a turtle surrounded by beautiful designs. We even found a black ring for my boyfriend and now we both have a symbolic souvenir from our first trip to Hawaii on our 2nd anniversary - all from a jewelry store with my same name. I would recommend this store to anyone visiting Waikiki and send a huge thank you to the sales woman working today!

Very nice and very courteous sales lady and reasonable prices. I only wish the matching earrings (to the plumeria pendant) were available too.
