Oliver Men's Shop

This is one of the best finds in Kailua if not the entire island. Parker has amazing taste and has creatively curated this amazing little shop. Everywhere you look there are amazing and unique pieces of clothing, hats, small pieces of sculpture, jewelry. He has amassed an impressive collection lot legit vintage jackets (some from France, old military pieces and cool Levi's) and sweatshirts in cool colors with the perfect amount of fade and they are soft and comfy. And one of the coolest things (and I've never seen this before) they will professionally sew one of their vintage patches to their cool jackets or even embroider them, making each piece so personal and one of a kind. This is a special gem and a must see. Next time I will add my review for the ridiculously cool sister shop Olive's. Beautiful women's clothing, jewelry and housewares......

After sweating my buns off at a Yelp Kicks Butt boot camp, I peered into Oliver on the walk back to my car. I walked into the small and unassuming shop only to find the little store that could! Oliver is a men's store owned by a man and his wife owns a women's boutique called Olivia which is located two doors down. Honestly, does it get any cuter than that? I went in looking for something for my boyfriend and told the owner I needed fitted shirts. "My boyfriend is reaaaaally metro!" I exclaimed. Although he had some really great designs, I ended up deciding to take the safe route of bringing my boyfriend in at a later time. Other than fantastic customer service I love that the owner had designed and built everything in the store. There's so much detail and you can tell each item has been intentionally selected. Great spot to pick up a gift for that awesome man in your life and and support a fantastic local business!

I love coming in here because it's just so unique. It has a very beachy vibe. I love all the shirts and knick-knacks but they are really expensive. They do sell Field Notes notebooks that I love; they are a special Hawaii edition too.

Where else can you go and emerse yourself in a rustic men's surf lifestyle shop on Oahu? Nowhere. Oliver Men's Shop is the parter shop to Oliver Boutique on the other side of Chad Lou's in Kailua.Men's tees, trunks, sweaters, chinos, and the chambray shirt. What more do you need? Chock full of great brands in clothing, Oliver also features lifestyle products like Coola's HangTen sunscreen, Sea salt soap, italian Marvis toothpaste, Grove scented soy candles, cool sunglasses and a great duffle to carry it all. Part gift shop, surf wear, and all around a good go to shop for your daily wardrobe needs. I shop here exclusively for my brothers and they have yet to complain. Make a trip to Kailua, the tourists have already figured it out.

Oliver is located in the little cluster of shops next to Chad Lou's. It is at the beginning of Kihapai Street, across from Hardware Hawaii. There is metered parking and a small lot in the back. If using the lot, the driveway is one lane for entering and exiting, so be careful. The driveway lane is located to the right of Oliver if facing the shop. Oliver is a men's store. It has a sister store, Olive, on the other side of Chad Lou's. The coffee shop is separating Olive and Oliver. How cute! I come in about every few weeks to check out if there is anything new and exciting. I'm not a man, but they have some really cool items in the store. Besides clothing, there is toothpaste, ceramic coffee cups, wallets, towels, shoes, belts, vinyl records, and more!They often have sales, so I always check out the rack for gifts. My kids love the socks from here. Very stylish. The sales people are always so nice. I can't gush enough about them. Always with a smile, and always ready to answer any questions. This last visit, my teen got into a discussion with the associate about vinyl records and what bands to check out. Also, Oliver will be coming out with a compilation record next month. It will have covers of great hits, but lounge style, but still local. We were lucky enough to hear part of it. I can honestly say I am anxiously waiting for it's release!The customer service, the ease of parking, the unique items sold here make Oliver a favorite local shop for me!

Until Oliver came along Oahu was lacking for a quality shop that specializes in men's clothes and accessories. Not to say there are none, but personally I sometimes need a little more than HIC and a little less than Neiman Marcus.The little space in Kailua is well stocked with just about anything the well appointed man could want. Shirts, literature, and substances for staying well groomed alongside tools to keep your various accessories (Like keys, money, or beer) in check from day to day. Aesthetically this shop feels like something Great Grandpa would have built a motorcycle in... or perhaps shaped a balsa-wood surfboard. Next time you go in have a seat and talk story with whoever is at the counter, listen to some tunes, and enjoy the people watching because a shop like this is a rare commodity these days.

Stopped in to check out this cool store after a cup of Chad and Lou's. I'm a clothes horse, and always check out the local men's store when traveling. This store won't disappoint. Lots of hella cool stuff to choose from... clothes, vintage aloha shirts, household goods, and hats.Do not visit Kailua without stopping in.

An absolute gem! I stumbled upon this shop on Instagram and visited for the first time today. The clothes are super cute and very good quality! They also have sunglasses, buttons, pins, lighters- tons of unique and vintage items. Highly recommend shopping here!
