Olive Garden - Kapolei

Easy to make a reservation! This year, with losing 3 coworkers (retired, left fora higher FG position, resigned), we decided to have our Christmas luncheon here. 2024 Dec 19 1215 reservation and checked in early and was seated :)The hostess was on a phone call when I walked in and after the call, she apologized for the wait and greeted me with a smile, LOVE THAT customer service!I was not surprised at how busy this restaurant is and it looked like a few companies had their xmas luncheon there today too. Booths along the perimeter, tables located in the middle, bar to the right and even a "to go" section near the restrooms. Our server, Leila, so sweet! The food, so so ono (I got the fettuccine with chicken and added broccoli) and I love their chicken gnocchi soup and the strawberry cream cake delish!I will definitely be back with the ohana!

Appetizer: Shrimp FrittaBread Sticks and ordered Alfredo to dip.Meal: Build you own pastaRotini w/ mushroom sauce and added broccoli and shrimp.Saying service was slow is an understatement. The waiter blamed the kitchen the whole time, although other servers seemed to be navigating this issue seamlessly. I received my pasta dish without the broccoli. I notified my waiter and my food sat for about 20 mins before the broccoli made it to my table. The Alfredo I ordered was titled as unlimited but I received 2 portions which consisted of what seemed like pestering to my server. Absolutely horrible service coupled with mid food. Couldn't be more disappointed.

Honestly, I never really crave Olive Garden but something about the Kapolei location is different. The customer service is always amazing. We had Royce as our server and our glasses were never empty, soup and salad bowls were always filled. He was so attentive even when he was serving many tables. He always took the time to check in on us. We had the calamari, Tour of Italy and chicken and shrimp pasta. It was all very good. The Zuppa toscana soup is something I always come back for.

Hostess who helped us checked this evening did not seat her list correctly. We checked in at 5:30 Our wait time was 50mins and we got seated at the 1 hour mark at 6:40When we got to our table our server Kym did not come until I made eye contact with her while she was circling the dining area. Kym finally came 10mins later 6:50 and took our drink and food order our drinks took 10mins come. Our salad and bread finally came at 7:13.It's 7:13 we are still waiting for our food Food came out at 7:22. 2 out 3 dishes came out at 7:22 . Tour of Italy was burnt see picture below 3rd dish finally came out at 7:27 by their manager not even apologetic or anything Totally unsat. Chicken Marsala is not worth $30.00 Asked for boxes and the check at 7:38 Finally cashed at our at 8:00pmCustomer service terrible horrible 3 hours

My daughter, myself and my boyfriend came to eat here for lunch and food was good but service was kind of slow. Our waitress apologized to us for giving us the wrong drinks. Ambiance was noisy so expect it to be loud and crowded on a weekend..Food is always good but expect a wait if you come here on the weekends. We were seated right away so we were lucky. I guess they have the all you can eat pasta. Not sure how long that will last..

We arrived with reservations to celebrate a birthday. Unfortunately, we waited almost 45 mins to be seated, and what I assume was the manager, apologized due to a large party u expected before us? Suspected it was a switch over from an old to new reservations system coming online? He said he would cover our desserts? After being seated and served, we received our dining check with only one dessert compensated for long wait? He verbally stated I'll cover your desserts. So food was ok, it seemed extremely noisy atmosphere and being cordial for the long wait! We weren't taken care of as we were smooozed over my the guy who told us he'd take care of our desserts.

We received gift cards to Olive Garden. That's really the only reason we came.I can't say I was disappointed, because my expectations were very low. The dining room was very noisy, and while our table was clean when we were seated, the people who came in just behind us were seated at a table that had been bussed, but not cleaned.Other than the excellent service we received from the hostess and our waiter, everything else just about met my extremely low expectations.The menu was very limited in comparison to what I remember from our last visit (over a decade ago in a different location). It took a while to decide what to get, and our waiter was very patient with us. I finally decided on the baked ravioli and my husband ordered a build your own pasta. I got soup and he got salad. The soups I tried were okay (chicken and gnocchi was the best part of the whole meal, zuppa Toscana was just a bowl of salt). The salad was crouton-forward with limp greens underneath. My husband commented that the meatballs tasted like the frozen ones we get from Target. My ravioli was an oily mess.We won't be returning. I'd rather support a local Italian restaurant like Ricado's in Aiea, where the food is tasty, well-priced, and actually Italian.I was tempted to give 2 stars just for the service we received, but I can't in good conscience. Don't waste your money or calories here. There are definitely better options.

Our son had a craving for Olive Garden so we stopped by.Tawhnee was our server and she provided great customer service and recommendations.We got the following items ZUPPA TOSCANATour of Italy Plant parmigiana Kids meal chicken spaghetti w/ Arnold Palmer w/ raspberry lemonade 3x 8$ take home entree

Great service! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a cozy yet modern vibe that made it the perfect spot for a relaxed evening out. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel like valued guests from the moment we walked in.Our server, Hana, and Manager, Megan, were especially impressive- very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Food also tasted amazing!

Overall the experience here is great. They are always busy when I drive by and yesterday my son treated my mom and I to dinner here. Our wait was about 10 minutes at 7:15pm so that was not bad at all. I guess it depends on the size of the party because other parties were still waiting and they were there before us. There was a pretty big lag in service and getting drinks from our server as well as the food. It's understandable becaus3 we were there at peak dinner rush and they were so busy!! Overall the food and breadsticks was delicious!! We were full from the breadsticks and could only eat maybe 1/3 of our entrees!! We were so full we skipped dessert as well!! Would recommend if your craving pasta and breadsticks!
