Old Stadium Square in Honolulu, Hawaii is not really a square, but two rows of restaurants and other small businesses like a gardening shop and a workout gym. There is a stand alone building for OneMain Financial on the Young Street side. Current businesses include: Golden Eagle Chinese Restaurant A Cake LifeKozo Sushi Ala Hawaii Kitchen Lunar Tea Fresh Bites Thai Village Salon Eclipse Niu Soft ServeTori TonShingen Soba Izakaya at Heart MoonL&L Hawaiian Barbecue Aloha Vietnamese FoodsHonolulu Hydroponics Parking is free, but a bit tight. Just be careful because you can enter and exit from both King Street and Young Street. I usually enter from King Street because I know that I should slow down when I'm near the Old Stadium Park (on the right side of the road) which is across the street from Old Stadium Square. If you haven't visited Old Stadium Square, chances are that you will be able to find some good eats here when you do visit!

Moili'ili is my childhood my parents would always go to the Honolulu Stadium and honestly I have no idea to watch what event but I do remember going there and now Old Stadium Square named for sure being it's directly across the street from the former stadium to be honest is it both buildings or just one that shares this name *shrug*.Many tenants has been here for years before my knowledge like Golden Eagle Chinese Restaurant my absolute go to for a quick convenient bite, also Fresh Bites, Lunar Tea, Niu Softserve Parlour, Aloha Vietnamese Foods just to name a few...saying goodbye to a few like India Bazaar Madras Curry, Sweet Home Cafe, Cocina de Roja and welcome newbie Thai Village.Parking here is decent thought you need to be aware and plan your visit during peak time and some are reserved so you must read and be careful parking in certain stalls as the Diamond Head building has a second floor with certain offices that has some reserved stall. Some 20 minutes stalls are super convenient for a quick dash in for some boba tea *yum!* and with a little patience you really don't have a problem parking here as in the evening the street parkings are available as well.Keeping the old as they welcome the new is a way to preserve some of the history Moili'ili has and it's truly a gift.Thank you!

From my childhood and adolescent years during the late 50s through the early 70s, I remember going to the former Honolulu Stadium to watch minor league baseball, local high school and interstate college football games, and an Elvis Presley concert. Locals referred to the Honolulu Stadium as the "Termite Palace" because it was built mainly of wood in the late 20s, and termite damage had occurred over the years. By the mid-70s, our local Government shuttered, and the new Aloha Stadium in Hālawa opened. During our family's attendance at the many sports events, we'd often grab something to eat nearby by Chunky's Drive-In (closed in 1992) and across the street at the Stadium Square and probably renamed "Old Stadium Square" after 1975. Anyway, during my lifetime on O'ahu, we've dined at several restaurants in this office/retail shopping mall. We have seen many businesses come and go but not as quickly as during 2020's pandemic stay-at-home orders. We've come here to either dine in or take out at Aloha Pho, India Bazaar Madras Curry, Kozo Sushi, Pizza Hut, Sweet Home Café (closed), and Golden Eagle Chinese Restaurant. Recently, we've come to this "shopping mall" to get our birria taco fix at Cocina de Roja, and just yesterday, we tried Shingen Soba Izakaya At Heart Moon. We like this mall for its variety of cuisines and neighborhood-friendly atmosphere. There is a convenient parking lot for customers and visitors for all of the businesses in the square, but you must be careful and read the parking signs for reserved or time-limited parking stalls. The exterior of the office/retail spaces looks a little run-down but has been repainted recently to lift their appearances. Also, they have the infrastructure for food service or restaurant operations in place.I don't know how much the lease rent is for this office/retail center that was around since the 50s but, it appears that it's not cost-prohibitive, and the businesses are all successful long-time tenants.Come on down to Mō'ili'ili's Old Stadium Square, and you'll undoubtedly find some cuisine that will pick your tastebuds or a business that you may need to visit here.

Parking sucks! Only 1 hr limit or else they put a sticker on your car window, difficult to remove and leaves sticky residue. It does not give you enough time to eat at one of the restaurants and have dessert or tea at another shop. They even threaten to tow away your car, even though you're giving business to several shops that may run over the 1 hour limitWe encounter the guy who marks your car and put the sticker and explain we were in multiple shops that pushed us over the 1 hour mark. He insisted to put on the sticker and said he was just "doing his job" and to go ahead and complain to the landlordHe even handed premade cards w/landlord phone number, repeated go call the landlord No apologies with the sticky tacky sticker, said just remove tacky goo He said to move the car from one stall to another if staying pass 1 hourand call the landlord if you have a complainWe talked w/several shop owners and they are angry that this is chasing out customers! This is no way to treat their customers who're trying to give them business! No sure if we'll be coming back. I would rather spend my money elsewhere who treats their customer with welcome and aloha!
