Ohana North Shore Farm Stands

Don't sleep on the banana lumpia. It's seriously one of the best things I've had on the island. Lovely service, nice people. Stopped on a tour and it was a great spot!

This is a small farmers market with 5 shacks currently. Each shack is slightly different but also similar. They sell cut fruit, coconuts, raw fruit and baked goods. One shack (Ricky's Brand) sells corn, and there is a shave ice shack. This morning I tried spicy star fruit from Virgil's Fsrm and fried banana from Ricky's Brand. I wanted some corn, but they were in the process of harvesting. Yummy fresh food on the side of Kamehameha Hwy in North Shore is a cute place to grab snacks along the way to and from N.S. BTW I made up the name Aloha North Shore since I didn't see an obvious sign.

We stopped by this farmer's market area to initially get shave ice next door, but we ended up also getting fresh pineapple and fried bananas from Rick's brand stand. The fried banana ($1) was amazing, we bought another after finishing the first! They sell whole fruit and also bagged fruit like papaya and pineapple, which we bought for the beach.
