Oh My Grill

This location is the newest one and we thought we'd have lunch here with family that has never been here before. The place is very clean and bright inside, very inviting to just dine in if you can't wait to rip into your food. The staff is super friendly and always came to check up on us, refill waters, and such. The only misstep in today's meal was that they forgot to put the order in for my husbands chicken katsu, so he was the last to get his food by the time we all finished. They apologized for forgetting so that was appreciated. My husband's regular chicken katsu plate is an all day special at $9.99. The katsu was great and chicken was on point, we just weren't really big fans of the liquidy sweet katsu sauce that it comes with. It's just preference, some like their sauce savory, others sweet. My mother in law got the regular laulau plate $15.99 and she said it was pretty good with a nice meat to greens ratio. Grandma ordered the mini kalua pork with cabbage for $10.99 and it was a lot of food for a mini. It looked like a regular with just one less scoop of rice.On to the garlic fried fish that I got with extra garlic and tossed greens instead of Mac salad for $14.50. The fish was lightly coated and seasoned well to ear on its own but that extra garlic just made it so delicious. This is now going to be one of my go to places to get garlic fish. Overall the food, service, and prices made it a nice experience and guaranteed us to be repeat visitors. **Quick tip** they give you a 3% discount if you pay with cash!!!**Note** you don't earn points at this location, I was told only the pearl kai location does.

So this was our 1st time to this location and I'm not sure if I'd come back.The staff were friendly and the ambiance was nice. There is lots of parking which is a plus but the food was just okay.I had the beef stew and literally took 3 bites and couldn't eat any more. I did order a bowl and was surprised by the large portion but there were 3 pieces of beef of which I ate 1 1/2 because it was so fatty and grisly. There were 2 potatoes one really big one that I didn't bother touching because it had black spots in it and the other wasn't cooked long enough in my opinion. I also had one large carrot that needed more cook time. The base tasted like caned tomatoes paste and I actually had a glob of tomato paste stuck to one of the potatoes. I would not reccomend this dish.My son got the wagyu locomoco and he was pleased. The egg was cooked perfectly and the meat was well seasoned. The gravy was also a good texture and taste. Would order this againMy daughter got the shrimp curry and it was tasty. There was a good amount of shrimp and they were cooked well. The curry was a nice texture and had a subtle spice. I would order this again.My husband ordered chicken katsu because he said that's hard to mess up, lol. The price is $9.99 which is a great deal for the amount you get but I have definitely had better chicken katsu at other places and don't mind paying an extra dollar or two for it.We ordered the fish and chips to share and thank goodness we did because I was hungry and my beef stew wasn't it, lol. The fries were crispy, hot , and delicious. The fish was perfectly fried with a crunchy outside and moist, flaky inside. This was by far the stand out dish!My son also ordered a bowl of potatoe soup. I did not take a picture but I wish I had! It was disgusting! The texture was like glue and it tasted like cornstarch! He tried seasoning it with salt and pepper but even that didn't help. I asked them to take it off the tab and they did so without a problem. Overall not sure if I'd return or not but I can tell you for sure that if I do I will NOT be ordering the potatoe soup or beef stew, lol.

Finally got a chance to stop in at their new location in Pearl City. There is lot's of shopping center parking. The restaurant is modern and clean with brand new everything, chairs, tables, and etc. The left side was of the restaurant was a little cold from the a/c that blew right on us. So we moved over to the right side. It was perfect.All the staff were friendly and greeted us when we walked in. We got a chance to meet the restaurant manager Chloe who was very nice and pleasant. We had the NY Steak and Garlic Shrimp. It was cooked perfectly to my liking. It was tasty and flavorful. The Garlic Shrimp was the bomb. Minced fresh garlic made the dish top notch. And you can't beat the price. Teri-Saimin was incredible. The soup base was perfect with the right amount of teriyaki flavor and generous size pieces of teriyaki beef. We also had hot green tea which went perfect with the cold atmosphere. We had takeout Grilled Salmon which was really tasty. I'm looking forward to return and try different items.

The food was good tonight. We are regulars. I think maybe 3-4 times a month. I try different things. Tonight was their new addition to the menu fish & chips. The 2 fish were crispy, thin and tasty. I asked for the fries to be crispy and they were so that was good. The service was fast even though they were busy. I like the ambiance here. I like the pride they take in their restaurant. The forks have a smile and a wink which is cute along with logos on their cups for water. Plus they have comfy pillows for a back cushion of the comfy chairs. I took pics of the interior along with the food for you to check out. My wife loved their Kalua pig and cabbage. They have a clean restaurant and they seem to take pride in the place. I also like the music they play here.

FoodService Ambience ‍‍‍‍‍Absolutely eating here again and again! The price is perfect and the service is OUTSTANDING! pls don't ever leave Pearl City.

Oh My Grill is Oh My Good!!! We have tried their other location and we enjoy their food a lot. Plate lunch style food with rice and mac salad. There is a lot of space to dine in. They are located right next to Cherry on Top. We got the 9.99 Chicken Katsu and a Garlic Chicken which was 14.99. Service was quick and they kept our waters full the whole time! When our food came out we already knew we would only finish half of our plates. The Katsu for 9.99 is the best bang for your buck. Juicy and thick pieces of katsu. Their garlic chicken is crispy and has great flavor!If you are craving plate lunch style food for a good price check them out in Pearl City or their other locations on Island!

Love Oh My Grill and I usually give them 5 's but this time I can't do that. Everything we ordered was really ono as usual except the rice... the rice can tell was left over from the night before in the rice warmer, had a brownish hue to it. Other than that workers are super nice and if you pay Cash you get a 3% discount.

Went on a lunch date with my husband here the inside is very cute contemporary bring a light jacket it gets chilly. Our waiter was very happy person loved that vibe. For came out quick after ordering I enjoyed my beef stew the meat was soft and tender loved my won tons on my salad my husband said he really enjoyed his wagyu loco moco and the gau gee so good with there dipping sauce....so if your at Pearl Kai stop on in and share your experience

They just opened this location not too long ago. Great location to have a plate lunch place. This place is like an upscale L&L. Don't even bother going to L&L. Oh My Grill has a big dining area like a casual sit down restaurant. Prices are great. Cheaper than L&L. They have an all day Katsu Special and also a Steak special. Service is awesome too. They make sure you have what you need. Food also comes out fast. Visit the new location! You won't be disappointed!
