Why 5 stars? Because we had the perfect wedding. --- --- ---Diana did a phenomenal job with everything - I cannot recommend enough for you to use her, if you're planning on getting married in Oahu. My now-wife handled the majority of the communication with Diana, but she was very on top of all the communication. Everything was executed flawlessly, and with thorough explanation. We ended up choosing Kualoa Ranch, which was one of the places Diana recommended. This is another story for another review, but I highly recommend that venue!Despite all of the moving parts, and the destination wedding of 24 people who traveled into town for it, there was no stone left un-turned. Every detail was taken care of, and because of this, Diana allowed us to enjoy our once-in-a-lifetime experience without a stress or care in the world.

Diana from Oahu wedding was absolutely amazing! Her attention to detail and her devotion to us as her clients was better than we could have ever expected. She took care of every detail that would have been impossible for us to deal with on our own before the wedding, and the day of the wedding she was so great about directing us, even making sure we ate while getting ready and after the ceremony. I can't gush enough about how much my husband and I adore Diana and Oahu Wedding. Our wedding turned out better than we had ever hoped for or dreamed of and it was all thanks to that amazing woman. Thanks Diana!

I used Martina Cacciaroni and Oahu Wedding Company for my wedding in May of 2009, to cut straight to the point...DO NOT USE HER! My story is long but I'm going to cover the relevant topics. I meet her and some other colleagues a year and a half before my wedding date. She's very personable and her website is great but this reflects nothing to her knowledge of wedding planning abilities. She's a great person and is very sweet but bottom line is she has not clue about what it takes to plan a wedding. I'd give her organizational skills a D-. I was so furious after my wedding that when I came home I did some research on her to find out that she was in college while she was helping me plan my wedding. Which means she's a part time coordinator and explains why she wasn't fully tracking with me. I found her myspace, facebook and some references on her college website that helped me to determine that she was a full time student during my year and a half of planning and that she graduated the same month that I had my wedding. There were so many details that we had discussed that she did not do at my wedding. I'm not sure if she thought I wouldn't of noticed or if she just solely forgot. Every vendor she recommended me to was horrible to work with.The day of the wedding she showed up with basically a bunch of friends (all about 25 yrs old or so) and they were her setup and break down crew. They didn't do a mic check before the wedding and the pastor couldn't even say my name right (which she was suppose to go over with him). It seemed like a bunch of college kids who go to college in Hawaii and decided that they're going to do a wedding planning company for people who do destination weddings. After all, how hard can it be right? I imagine that your able to get away with it so long as the party doesn't exceed 30 people but after that the flaws truly start to come out.Supposedly when I met her a year and a half before my wedding day there was another older lady who was suppose to be mentoring her but for unknown reasons the lady left. Martina is the only wedding planner I believe and there's another guy his name is Nathan Bingham or something similar, but he's just the boyfriend now turned fiance. I did some research on him and it looks like he runs some type of moped rental company on the island as well so they might just be in the business to make money but I assure you that she/they have no idea what they are doing.Even more fishy...when I paid my balance I got an emailed receipt that said it was from Oahu Wedding but the email address [email protected] I checked that website Hawaiian Style Rentals - Honolulu's Moped, Motorcycle and Bicycle Rentals Specialists on Oahu, Hawaii. and sure enough it looks like the payment system is tied to his business. It doesn't pay to try and scam people especially with the world wide web. I read she got into a college in some state on the east coast so I'm sure she'll just move her business over there or still continue to give the illusion that she can operate out of Hawaii since she still has friend there. Whatever it is...I believe it will all come back to you eventually.I wasn't going to post my review of her initially after my wedding because I thought it would be spitefully of me to do that but if I can save just one person from telling my story than that's one person that can go on and have the wedding of her dreams since it's too late for me. Your wedding day is only one day in a lifetime...don't gamble with someone your unsure about. I say to find someone who you can get good raves on from people who are neutral and have nothing to gain or lose from telling you their personal experience.

Oahu Wedding, newly owned by Diana Caro-Salvador, is AWESOME! Diana is detail oriented, passionate about weddings and first class customer service all the way! She goes over and beyond to please her clients on every occasion and will settle for nothing less than perfection-not surprising since she has been obsessed in a good way about weddings for over 10 years!Please do not be misguided by the other reviews from 2009 which reflect a different owner. If you check her out on Wedding Wire you will see 29 rave reviews for DIANA, not the previous owner. My deepest apologies for the bad experiences of the other brides. My heart always goes out to brides like these. But please DO consider Diana of the NEW Oahu Wedding because her customer service will make your breathless on your special day!

I LOVE these people!! Our planner, Diana (the new and current owner), was an angel. She went above and beyond to make our day beautiful and perfect. I had all of these crazy visions and put them together and made them flow perfectly. I loved that I could completely trust her style which made it easy for me to not have to make every single decision. Diana did the work for us!When I walked into our venue, I cried! I couldn't belive that she executed my vision so perfectly. She's an absolute sweetheart and her and her staff are so easy (and fun!) to work with.My husband was initially against hiring a planner. After our wedding, he said she was worth every penny!I HIGHLY reccommend this vendor if you want a stress-free, beautiful, and unique event!

Hiring Oahu Wedding was the single best decision my husband and I made about our wedding. Diana is the owner and she was absolutely amazing. We felt that we could absolutely trust her 100% throughout the entire process. She was easy to work with, unfailingly enthusiastic, prompt with e-mail replies, and kept us well in the loop during the entire process. She made wedding planning incredibly stress-free and hired the very best vendors for us, sticking closely to our initial budget except for the couple of things we agreed to splurge on.We had our morning ceremony in Moli'i Gardens (at Kualoa Ranch) in Kaneohe followed by a lunch reception. Throughout the initial discussions regarding venue and vendors, through the later stages of logistical planning and decor design, there was not one detail that Diana missed. She is creative and resourceful, and always had so many ideas for us. The day before our wedding, we met with her while we were at the Department of Health to get our wedding license, and she was absolutely as sweet and wonderful in person as she had been over e-mail and phone for the past few months.On the day of the wedding, everything was perfect. My husband and I thought we were in a dream - and our guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful everything was. Frankly, it was the most beautiful wedding I've ever seen - and I'm so happy it was ours!We can't thank Diana enough for giving us the best day of our lives. We're really going to miss working with her!

Diana and staff - woohoo!!! My best friend hired Diana for her wedding and day after brunch. Diana is very organized, calm, and on top of everything. I would highly recommend her - I know you don't know me, but if you did - you would know that I am usually nicknamed "the general" and "the glue" - I am super organized, meticulous, and picky; so... If I can give a 5-star vote in favor of Diana (new owner, after those two other bad yelp reviews, not fair!) then please know (I hope) that Diana is your girl! :)Her recommendations for food, DJ, tables, hair/makeup were spot on. The following day brunch - also - smooth and amazing.Hire her! :)

Diana is a love of my life. My mother found her while googling Wedding Planners on Oahu. From the first phone call, I instantly clicked with Diana. As a joke, I told her I wanted a "big fat american gypsy wedding", just to see her reaction. A few months later, my family and I travelled to Oahu where Diana showed us venues for a day, based upon my specifications discussed earlier. The last venue, which was not a public venue, ended up being the perfect place to get married for my husband and I. Then we had a wait over a year to get back and actually be married!If you think for one second that her price may be high, you are wrong. My family and I worried about nothing! On my wedding day, Tracy and Kibby were there to assist and are just as sweet as Diana. I told Diana that if I ever win the lottery and move out there, that she better hire me! :) Or let me volunteer, minimally (bc I'll be super rich, ya know?).On the day of my wedding, I wanted to make sure that I had to worry about NOTHING. Diana made sure that happened. I was able to enjoy the time with my mom, M-I-L and bridesmaids while she ran around like a maniac woman setting everything up.There is without a shadow of doubt, that the only reason my day was as fabulous as it was, was because of Diana's work. She is a star in this business and if you are looking for someone to make your dreams a reality, then she is your woman.Not only did I have a fabulous wedding planning experience, I now have a friend for life. And that, my friends, is what life is all about. :)

My husband and I are so thankful to have met the owner of Oahu Wedding, Diana Caro-Salvador. We met Diana in October 2013 when we visited the island in hopes to book our wedding vendors. At first I wasn't sure if I really needed a day of coordinator for our destination wedding, but so many of my friends were telling me that a I will for sure regret it if I don't, I decided to get the help. After talking to a few Coordinators, we could tell that Diana was going to be on top of things, but also give us a little breather. Some of the coordinators we met were really strict on time and seemed they were not going to let us really enjoy moments if it was going to go beyond the time allotted. During the year of planning, Diana kept contact with me constantly and truly made me feel like I was the only bride she was working with. She was always on top of the latest updates on contracts with other vendors, worked smoothly with the rest of the vendors we hired and it was really easy to communicate with her. We risked the chance of rain and opted for an outdoor wedding at the JW Marriott Ihilani. I had some favor bags with tissue papers that I wanted to be placed on the tables of the reception. About an hour after Diana and her team had finished setting up the favor bags on the table, it started to sprinkle. I panicked a little and worried the tissue paper would get ruined. As I looked down from the hotel window, I could see Diana and her team scrambling to get the bags. And my photographer at the very moment said "You have nothing to worry about, Diana is the biggest bridezilla, she'll take care of everything". And sure enough she did. When we finally got the see the reception table and the favor bags, it was as if it never rained and the bags still looked perfect! Diana really takes all the burden and stress from the bride with style! During the wedding she made sure all the vendors arrived on time, all the set up was done and the wedding ran smoothly while holding all the wedding party's purses, sunglasses, props and her clipboard. I could not believe how well she was handling the entire wedding while handling our valuables as well. She's amazing. After the wedding even till today when we see our guests, they still talk about how smooth our wedding was and how amazing Diana was in coordinating the day. My husband and I definitely agree. We could not have asked for a better coordinator!! Thank you Diana!!!

So I am writing this review for Kibby!!! She was our coordinator for our wedding a dew days ago. She was amazing! Planned our ceremony & took care of everything, I was nervous with how everything would turn out I mean what bride isnt! but the bouquet I got was more than perfect, the roses and chair setup was perfect for the little wedding we always wanted, and we were also able to take the roses we had for the chairs over to our reception. When we got to our reception we saw the cake she ordered for us and it was the same exact cake that i had sent her a photo of from pinterest!!! I was honestly very impressed with how she managed that it was ALL exactly what we wanted, not one complaint! Oh and cant forget about our minister she had recommended & got a hold of for us, (Kahu Bruce) he was great at what he does, our family really enjoyed the ceremony, he was straight to the point and also made sure we kept breathing and kept us relaxed as much as possible wich was great! He also included our parents in the ceremony, i really loved that it meant a lot to us :) Overall Kibby and the other ladies were great, they made our day special I would highly recommend her to anyone. She is friendly, my husband and I got a long with her great as soon as we met her. She was there waiting for our guests at the park pointed everyone in the right direction & stayed until the end of our photography session an hour after the ceremony ended.
