Maytag washer. Lowes extended warranty. Purchased Maytag top loading washer May 2023. First year, balance problems, Maytag/Whirlpool company warranty. Extended warranty, Valve for water pump, leaking, Lowes referral to ANO appliance, guy came, nothing done. 2nd request claim, Lowes referral to Oahu appliance repair. Phone number given is voice mail, office, no one will call you back. Found number for Quang Nguyen 808-372--7253. Two weeks to get new Valve. I did follow up with Quang and Lowes. Quang arranged for a Saturday 2pm to replace Valve for water pump. Will be monitoring the water leak. Quang is easy to work with. Experienced, Professional.If you have Lowes extended warranty, please request for Oahu appliance repair, Quang. Business card attached. Monday to Saturday. Highly recommend.

Where to begin with this guy....First, the phone number listed doesnt work (808-831-0310). The second number I got my hands on (808) 422-7579 goes straight to voicemail - and there's no call back. Lowes warranty (Assurant) will tell you they messaged him to call you - but he wont. The third number is Quang's - so here it is for those of you looking to try to actually speak to him (808) 372-7253.I have a warranty under Lowes for my 2 year old refrigerator. It stopped working, starting oozing something that caused skin burns and headaches. I emptied it out, unplugged it, moved it as best as I could, and waited for Quang. Quang comes to our house, opens the back - and I mean that is it - he just opened the back panel - and tells me 'i dont know what's wrong with it.' Does not plug the refrigerator in!!! - not ONE time. So OF COURSE he doesnt know what's wrong with it - he didnt even bother to turn the damn thing on!!! I check back in with Lowes Warranty and he has submitted in his report that there is nothing wrong with my refrigerator. Here, let me save you all some time....IF You have been assigned Oahu Appliance for your warranty repair -- CHANGE IT!!!! This dude is a total SCAMMER and will be a total waste of your time. WHY Lowes has him listed as a provider with as many negative reviews as he has managed to accumulate is bewildering.

Excellent service on all levels! - Responsive, reliable, and courteous. Old school washer broke. Cheap plastic part broke and was replaced with a quality metal one. Dustin is an asset to the company - polite, knowledgeable and professional. He was referred to me by my brother who was a prior customer and felt Dustin was very trustworthy. While at my home, I asked Dustin to also check on my freezer as it's not freezing anymore. He took the time to investigate and gave me an honest opinion on it!I will call and use this company anytime - every time! I wouldn't hesitate to refer!

He contacted me for my refrigerator info to check if he had the part available. To make a long story short. Quan never contacted me back. Minimum rating is one. Zero rating is not an option here because you truly can't rate a business if you never got serviced.

Guan is very responsive, trustworthy and professional. He is also very kind and I really enjoyed his presence ever time we needed something repaired in our home. He is also very experienced and was able to help us after many professionals couldn't detect the problem with our drier. I definitely recommend him to anyone in need of service on their appliances.

Quang came & found our washer needed a new electric pannel. He had to go all the way to Waipahu to pick up the part ! Quang is a great technician & works very quickly !I would Strongly Recommend Oahu Appliance !

Lowe's extended warranty service scheduled a repair f our oven and the company never showed or called. Wasted my entire day. Strike 1The second company that is not on their list was excellent.Called in for another service to our refrigerator on Monday 3/2. No communication from the service department all week. Called on Friday to follow up only to find it was pending and that nothing had been scheduled. Strike 2Called again on Monday 3/11 and Tuesday 3/12 only to find it was still pending, but approved for the good company to service it. Again, no communication and I wouldn't have known had I not called back.Strike 3Sadly...the abysmal quality of the extended warranty and the first/recommended service repair company match!Don't waste your time and money on the Lowe's Extended Warranty...it's horrible!I'll never buy another big ticket item from Lowe's!

I have a warranty under Lowe's so they sent Quang out. He showed up on time and quickly diagnosed my washer issue. He did not have the parts to fix it so he went into town to get the parts and came back later that evening to fix my washer. He went above and beyond and helped with my dryer vent. I highly recommend and will use them again if needed.

not good service at all guy came to look at it washer did a replacement on the wrong part didn't come back to fix the problem left us hanging for 3 weeks we had purchase a new washer .

I had an appointment scheduled for a refrigerator repair and there was no call and no show by Oahu Appliance Repair. Wasted our entire day! I called my warranty company and asked for another company to come out instead. I've had the same problem with a different company in the past with no call no show and I did call them for an explanation and ended up having someone else come out because that company said they were under staffed. As a customer, I don't feel like it's my responsibility to chase these no call no show companies. I'll just end up having to call back for a different service company anyway. At the very least a courtesy call would be nice. Poor service, OAR!!
