North Shore Macadamia Nut

I love nuts! Nothing says Hawaii more than macadamia nuts. What a great stop via our around the island bus tour. We bought the cinnamon macadamia nuts (as a gift) and the hubby fell in love with the onion and chive ones too. We got home from our trip and they are already gone!!!! They also have delicious coffee samples and the associates at the stop are very friendly.

I placed an online order recently. The ordering process was easy. I received my order in a timely manner. All the flavors were wonderful but my favorite was Garlic Maui Onion Macadamia Nuts. The coconut roasted Macadamia Nuts was a unique flavor. I also got cinnamon, caramel, and roasted salted Macadamia Nuts. I never want the ones in the grocery stores anymore.

Great stop for some souvenirs to bring back home, especially if you're really into nuts. More of a bonus if you're into macadamia nuts. They let you sample all of their different flavor macadamia nuts and some of those were quite intriguing. They also sell Kona coffee beans, but macadamia nuts is where the value is here. You'll probably never eat plain macadamia nuts again after you try these.

North Shore Macadamia Nut Company is one of the many recommended tourist spots in Ohau, and is usually incorporated into many of the "Island Circle Tours" offered on the island. It's a cute, rustic, open-air shop with the most variety of macadamia nut flavors that I've come across on the island, and offers samples of every flavour to try!  In addition to macadamia nuts, they also sell coffee, and gift items such as small jewelry, art, body care, and pantry goods. The Caramel flavour was my favourite, and I regret not buying more while I was here since I didn't see this flavour offered anywhere else. The staff here were friendly, and let you browse and try the different flavours at your leisure. Intro: I will preface this review by saying that I'm not the target market for North Shore Macadamia Nut as I'm allergic to macadamia nuts. Pretty comical huh? The reason I stopped by is because it was part of a tour that I participated in. Ambiance (4/5): This is a pretty cool macadamia nut. After parking, once you walk in, you'll see several vendors selling things like shaved ice, fried chicken, and acai bowls/smoothies. There is picnic table seating. And then you have the main store where you can sample and buy macadamia nuts along with souvenirs and other goodies. Service (N/A): I didn't interact with anyone working there so it wasn't part of my experience. They do give out free samples though and free coffee so that's a nice touch. Food/Drinks (N/A): Also not part of my experience as I didn't buy or sample anything while I was there. Overall: If you're into macadamia nuts, this is a must-stop when you're on the north side. Macadamia nuts are one of the things Hawaii is known for. They also have several cats who live on the property which is a definite plus. I'm not sure if they have any tours or anything (that's something to inquire about) but you can see the macadamia nuts growing on trees which was pretty awesome.

Loved visiting the macadamia nut company! Small shop with many options to buy and taste macadamia nuts and coffee. They have small food booths with fresh fruit and açaí bowls. Actually a lot of seating with picnic tables and umbrellas for shade. People were very friendly!

Great place to stop over if you're passing the Haleiwa area! It's expanded to selling other Hawaii goodies too like bbq sauces, hot sauces, macadamia nut oils, etc. You can try samples of their various flavored macadamia nuts too. I ended up buying their cinnamon roasted macadamia nuts. These weee addicting! Great place to bring your tourist fam and friends to visit!

Taste all the flavors, crack a raw macadamia, pet cats. Five stars, doesn't get better than that!Ultimately bought the coconut roasted, but there were so many that I liked. The location is easy to get to and plenty of parking.

Support local and visit the North Shore Macadamia Nut store. They have a huge parking lot so it's easy to access. The store has plenty of macadamia nuts for you to take back to your mainland friends or even if you're local, to snack on! I like the garlic and honey roasted flavors the best. They have samples for you to try out. They also sell incredible Kona coffee and also have samples to try! The store is small, but there are plenty of local goodies to choose from.

This was one of the stops on my tour. We were able to sample different flavored macadamia nuts. My favorite was the coffee. There was a spot where you could crack your own nut. There was history about the macadamia nut, and macadamia nuts could be purchased.
