#126 of 2017Small market with mostly craft vendors. The day I came the Pipeline Masters Surfing Championship was also happening so not sure if that would have an effect on vendor attendance. On this particular day however, there were about 15 vendors. I was looking for food and that's all I cared about. One vendor specialized in coffee but I still had a cup in my hand. And one other vendor was serving food cooking it on the spot. Talk about cook to order. One other vendor was dishing out plate lunches. Didn't see anything I liked there. Another vendor specialized in teas like lemon ginger turmeric which I really liked. Didn't notice the other vendors. It's a small quaint market. If you happen to be in the area you may want to check it out. Refill on some of the supplies you may need.People were polite, friendly and nice. You can park inside the location, Sunset Elementary School. Good thing too because cops were giving tickets to everyone parked on the street.

Cute little place with souvenirs as well as foodstuffs and drinks. This us off the first places we visited in the town, and though didn't spend much time in it, we're impressed with the sheer amount of varied goods. Their merchandise has a country store vibe, and though the prices seemed a tad high, they do cater to tourism and I felt the moors money they can garner for the community, the better it would be. It's bringing with all sorts of merchandise--a be hard pressed to not find something you're looking for.

Going to the North Shore is always a fun and amazing adventure when you live in Waikiki...I love going to this country market because if people are super friendly, the items are organic and handmade art work. People are smiling, and it is near the beach.

This is a fun market with lots of ALOHA! Best place to get breakfast burritos, snacks, local produce and various gift items every Saturday morning. It's right across the Kam from Pipeline, so it's got a convenient location at Sunset Elementary with plenty of parking. Some venders take cards, but most are cash only. Take a stroll through the vendors and sample exotic fruits, chutneys, caramels and other tidbits. Meet some of the locals, learn some Hawaiian history and take home treasures for yourself or others. Some Saturdays they have Hula dancers or other entertainment.

This cute little market on at Sunset Beach Elementary school is super relaxed. It's definitely worth stopping by for Carol's Cookin' breakfast burritos. The market also has vegetables, fruit, sometimes flowers, and crafts.

I love this market. I don't get to go often due to my work schedule, but they've got so much to offer. Even when they're not stock full of vendors, each booth has something incredible to offer. You can get a massage, then go eat a burrito, AND get yourself some homemade keiki clothes. Do yourself a favor and cruise on over.

We visited Oahu in February and decided to spend the majority of our visit in the North Shore, away from the Waikiki mania. The country market was a highlight, with the biggest avocados that I have ever seen - they were like small cantaloupes. They also had some interesting local produce that I hadn't seen before, like star fruit and lychee. The market also has the basics like oranges, lettuce, basil, and tomatoes. This country market is largely artists (with some beautiful items that were a great deal) but there were plenty of farmers here as well to make it worth the trip. I always wonder how the farmers can make a profit off these things, when their prices are so much lower than what you pay for the scraggly grocery store version of the same thing. Don't believe the start time of 8 AM advertised on their web site. Like most things we ran into, there's the "Hawaii time" factor to be taken into consideration, and when we did arrive the first time at 8 only a couple of vendors had shown up. Fortunately Sunset Beach is right across the street, so we idled away some time watching the surfers and walking on the beach.

This market is a wonderful fixture in the North Shore community. Located right across the street from Pipeline, at the elementary school. It is small but has an awesome variety of hand made goods. There is always local organic produce including bananas, greens, coconuts, papayas, avocados, and much more at excellent prices. Sure beats the drive to and the prices at Whole Foods. The breakfast burritos are a local favorite as well as Char's homemade banana bread. Tourists and residents alike are always welcomed with aloha. Visiting the North Shore Country Market on a Saturday morning is the perfect start to your weekend.

Small but sweet. There were only about 15-20 vendors at 10AM the day we were there, and I felt sad about how quiet it was, but we overheard people saying it was a smaller turnout than usual due to some other event in town.My favorite was the Crispy Grindz truck which served Brazilian food. Excellent acai bowls--a good ratio of ingredients heavy on the blended acai. We really like the deep fried pastels too. The owner was super friendly! The lilikoi lemonade from one of the stands was super delicious and a good deal at just $2. The burrito from Carol's Cooking was pretty good. There were also stands selling gorgeous photography prints, adorable "Uggly" bags, fruits and veggies, glass necklaces, baked goods, etc.
