I'm still dreaming about this place. The ambiance is more refined than your typical mom-and-pop Thai spot, but don't worry--there were still people in t-shirts and slippers. It's definitely a great place to dress up for date night, but if you happen to stumble in last minute looking casual, you won't feel out of place. Now, the food? Absolutely incredible. You get to choose your protein and spice level for each dish. I can handle some heat but prefer it balanced, so level 2 was perfect for me. We tried one dish at level 3, which was just on the edge of my comfort zone--I could manage it, but I definitely needed a few water breaks. My boyfriend, who loves spice, said he would have preferred a level 4 or 5.We started with the papaya salad, which was super refreshing and crunchy, with a nice, distinct papaya flavor. We usually get ours Laotian-style at other restaurants, so this one didn't have the same bold kick we're used to, but it was still light and enjoyable. The pad see ew was perfectly balanced--we couldn't stop eating it and honestly regretted not ordering a second plate. But the real star? The Khao soi. Easily one of the best things I've ever eaten. It took me on a journey. Mixing in the lime, pickles, and onions elevated the dish completely, cutting through the richness and heat in the most satisfying way. And the noodles? Just perfect. The only minor hiccup was the service at the beginning. It wasn't terrible, but there were a few awkward moments. Our host initially seated us at one table, then changed her mind and moved us to another that wasn't fully set, so a busser had to step in mid-way to finish setting it, leaving us with a dirty glass that the server later caught. We also noticed that none of the tables in our section received drink menus. Our server was really nice, and it seemed like a busy night, but for a place with this kind of ambiance, the service felt a little uneven. That said, the food alone is enough to bring us back. Can't wait to go again!

Surprisingly, last month was the first time I've tried Noi Thai and it did not disappoint! Located in the Royal Hawaiian. And they validate your parking ticket, just don't forget to ask them!We went with our staff because we wanted to joy a nice holiday dinner with everyone so that we could all relax and enjoy each others company without having to think about work. I was hoping to sit inside because the ambience inside looks nicer, but we had a large party and it actually worked out fine because we played games at our table so it gave us some extra space. We started with some apps: papaya salad and the appetizer sampler so that we could try different things. The papaya salad was really good. And so was the appetizer sampler, minus the "Cock-A-Doodle-Doo" egg thing which I did not care for. But the crab wontons, shrimp cakes, and taro rolls were really good. Some people ordered drinks. And then we ordered our main dish. Everyone ordered their own dish. But my coworker and I decided to share a few dishes so that we could try different things. We got the crab clay pot noodles, lamb curry, and the khao ka prow. All were tasty! The only downside was that the food came out fast but the refilling of water and coming to check on us was very minimal. Our waitress barely ever came to check on us and we had to keep asking her for everything. And we also asked her for a copy of our paid bill but never got it so we ended up just leaving because she never came back for us to ask again.Overall, really good place for fancier Thai food. Parking is a little expensive even with validation. But still worth it!

Noi Thai is a more upscale restaurant located in the tourist area of Waikiki inside a shopping mall along the strip. The servers are very nice, though I have to note that they did not come around too often to take orders or check in, meaning that at times we had to wait quite awhile to get some service. The food, however, is super tasty! The khao soi, garlic chicken, chicken skewers, and shrimp cakes were all cooked perfectly and looked amazing! For some dishes, you're allowed to set your own spice level, so you're able to try different foods even if you might be worried about how spicy it may be. We were able to finish everything, and would come back again!

Pad Thai was very good, we ordered it with shrimp. The chicken fried rice was unfortunately underwhelming and incredibly bland. 4 stars because of how good the pad Thai was. Ambiance is nice.

Excellent service and inspired cuisine. The ambience topped off the experience. The green papaya salad and coconut curry were both recommended by a friend and did not disappoint; delicious.

Good experience, with few hiccups. It's an elevated Thai restaurant with good ambiance so expect pricier options in their dishes. The taste factor is amazing. We had all delicious dishes which are crab curry, lobster Tom yum and pineapple Fried rice. The service can be spotty, and improved. Maybe they're just tired cuz it's the holidays. But will I come back? I don't think so. I feel like I've had better Thai food somewhere, but again the taste factor is still there. It's just not that unique of a place for us to come back,

The restaurant is lovely, but the food and price point leave much to be desired. We ordered the spring rolls, which were okay. I also had the Tom Kah soup with chicken and found the chicken quite dry and chewy. It also came with straw mushrooms instead of regular button mushrooms because the photo showed straw mushrooms.Service was prompt and attentive, and it was cool to see the birds flying about while dining.

For a $28 curry there are no carrots. Otherwise it was just chicken, onions, and 3 pieces of potatoes. And the audacity to default tip for take out at 20% is disgusting. And they charged some other fee which came out to 9+% including taxes. That was not made clear during checkout. 2 stars only because the flavor is decent
