I don't see the truck parked in front of the state tax building anymore, but maybe he moved to another place, or is on vacation.Mini hamburger steak - 3 stars. Digestible, but not my taste. The sauce or maybe was the meat that tasted a bit sour. I first thought it was spoiled, but my stomach felt fine after eating it, so might have been the sauce.Mini steak plate. 3 stars - after reading another yelper's raving review, decided to give it another try a few weeks later, and it was ok, but the pieces were just a few with a scoop rice and corn. Basic, but, again, not my taste. Service - 4 stars - made to order, and the man was nice. He had his son take the order and pack the lunch while he cooked.

I tried the hamburger steak plate and to be honest the gravy tasted funky! It had a weird chemical taste to it to me. I also thought the hamburger was not that good. You can find better elsewhere and the prices are a little high for the subpar quality. To my opinion.

The picture says it all...Waited 25 minutes for burnt, dry chicken, so called miso-teri chicken, smh. Sad part is he was so busy putting together a few orders before me that I guess he let my chicken burn in the deep fryer and still had the nerve to serve it to me this way....

Went here for lunch today. Tried the gourmet burger and it was definitely delicious. It was very simple just a burger on sweet bread with some special sauce but it stood no chance as each bite I took was awesome. This food truck is normally parked on punchbowl street just outside of the unemployment office. The quality and quantity is awesome and the customer service is priceless. I am looking forward to going back and trying more of the options.

Don't judge a book by its cover. You don't know this food truck's name because it's plain white with pink paper menu. So delicious. Diamond in the rough. Hamburgers, hamburger steak, chicken with secret bbq sauce and spaghetti are all my favorites. None hold a candle though to the tuna potatoe salad! Oh my goodness delicious.

I don't eat buy lunches often at work but when I do, often it's from Noelani's. My favorite is the deep fried catfish. Their hamburger and fishburger is also very good. The guy who runs it, Shunon, is always very friend and I'll bet no one has a complaint about him. The hamburger steak is good if not overcooked (he's so busy I think he doesn't get to the burger in time.

Got lunch from there with a friend. I had the mini Hokkaido hamburger steak which was ok but nothing special. My friend ordered the bbq chicken and I have to say was still hungry after as the chicken portion was very small. Looked to be one chicken thigh cut up very thinly. And this was the full sized plate. I think I had more substance in my mini plate. The guy who runs the truck however is very pleasant and friendly.

I tried the Kalbi Laulau that was the special of the day. It sounded so good so I was excited to try it. As good as it sounds, the Kalbi laulau plate lunch came with lomi salmon, potato salad, haupia and rice for $12. The Kalbi meat was so soft and very tasty. The leaves of the laulau was very well cleaned. I always appreciate the taste of well prepared laulau leaves. The potatoe salad was deliciouse as well as the salmon and I finished my plate ending with a deliciouse tasting homemade haupia for my desert. Omg I was so happy and content. The portions were perfect. Would have the Kalbi Laulau plate again but I am also excited to try Noelani's homemade hamburger patties in the Hamburger steak plate Lunch next time.

Kauai chicken plate is the best. Soft bite sized chicken nuggets that are so tender and so juicy. No sauce needed. I'll definitely be ordering this again!

I have purchased food here on two occasions. They park right outside my office on Punchbowl Street. The guy who runs the truck and/or does the cooking is from LA. He is super nice and friendly. He even says hi when I don't order food and just happen to be walking by. I have had the BBQ chicken and the steak plates. The steak plate was okay. Not great but certainly not bad either. The taste was on point but the meat was a bit tough and chewy. Maybe I just got a bad cut. I will give it another try. Now onto the chicken. It was very good! Different than local BBQ, more a mainland style. He makes the sauce himself and it is awesome. The chicken itself was moist, tender and cooked well. Usually chicken is just chicken. Meaning you really gotta do something great to stand out and make me want to come back. Well, come back I will! Certainly for the chicken and I will give the steak another chance. Haven't tried anything else on the menu but if/when I do, I will add to this review.
