My last visit here was a bit disappointing that I dumped half my meal having dry teriyaki that was just being heated up, and chicken being on the rubbery side. Jessie learned not to order those things. I figure to give this place another try looking like they did a rebrand serving alcohol on the other side. However I didn't see anyone there, but the staff seemed more energetic, and more welcoming.This time I tried there sushi and and two of there rolls. It wasn't as spectacular, but good enough to settle my sushi cravingOverall it was a change for the better, and will come back again soon

Me: Did you want me to pick something up for us to snack on tonight while you out all of our kids to sleep?Wife: Yes, Ninja Sushi please.Me: *making sure they are open and is always nicely surprised they are open until 9pm*Also me: *the last customer that shows up right before closing*I always expect them to turn me down and say last call was 30 minutes ago but they don't! And the lady that works night on Friday's is friendly. Plus, that soft rock jams playlist they have on really brings it home.This place is a go-to for all your late night take-out sushi cravings.

First time at Ninja Sushi Waipio location. Staff was really nice and very helpful guiding us through their menu. Small and cozy dining room. Small private parking lot out front. Freshly made Sushi Bentos, combination Bentos, and an extensive menu of Nigiri sushi dishes. Very nice place for fast food sushi on the go.

Their sushi is pretty good, so many styles to choose from, from the simple nigiri kine to the more involved and pricier maki kine. Not gonna go into detail for each one I've purchased as sushi is sushi and Ninja gets you exactly that with no frills and nothing overly amazing. It's party sushi, lunch sushi, nothing fancy, but they hit the spot. And it's very easy to order online. My concern is with the lack of service. Every time, and I mean every time (this is at the Mililani location) I've walked up to the register, the reception is cold and not friendly (each time was with someone very youthful). If I'm buying several stacks of sushi and whatever else that turns out to be a big order, at least show a little appreciation for supporting your business, rather than make me feel like I'm inconveniencing you because you have to bag plenty stuff. And don't throw the shoyu packets in the bag either. Not a good look. So, please work on that, guys. Thanks. Other than that, keep pumping out enjoyable sushi.

My significant other and I came at 2pm on Saturday, 10/28/2023. The aunty working the counter was nothing less than kind, friendly, and amazing. Her service was GREAT! I wish I got her name but I hope she gets to hear/see this review because she went above and beyond. And overall, maybe our dining experience perfect.Total for everything was $45, which is great for 2 people who are looking for fast, tasty sushi. I've always loved ninja sushi waipio, and I truly believe they are one of few places who works constantly towards better quality and presentation. They've made so many improvements. 10/10

The spam musubi is pretty good because it is made with sushi rice, and the spam is dressed with a nice thick teriyaki sauce. The gyoza wrapper is kind of thick, and a not too much filling. The dipping sauce tasted like straight up soy sauce, salty not a sauce ideal for dipping!
