Ninja Sushi

Highly recommend the superman roll- something new for me as an avid sushi enthusiast as much as one from the mainland can be. The shredded potato is a nice touch and the portion is large. The fish is fresh. Very casual setting, but the AC must have been broken because it was extremely warm. Also, they were out of ice in the drink machine and the straws seemed to break quite easily.

Man oh man. Wish I read the reviews before I ordered. Coworker wanted to order from here and was hungry. Ordered scallops dynamite. Hmmm I thought I would get 8 pcs instead I got 6 pcs. Was looking at previous pictures and looks like the other sushi's have 8 pcs. My portions were small at least could have filled up the plate tray they gave me. Could have easily fit 4 more pcs in the tray. Also the scallops was not fresh! It had that off taste that it was going on the verge of going bad. NOW HERE IS THE BEST PART! I really should have read the reviews because after reading multiple people getting sick! I really hope I don't get sick cause I'm already have a little cold but if I start vomiting and having diarrhea after writing this review, I know for sure it is from this nasty place. Usually the scallops are cold with mayo but nope! It felt like my sushi was hot! Why? Like I don't understand. Seems like it was just sitting out in room temp for the past hour! I would not order this again.

Cheap frozen fish! My family and friends made a last minute decision to eat sushi. I didn't expect my fish to still be frozen when I bit into it. Talk about an ahi flavored ice pop. The ahi lover's was overall tasty and could use more thawing. The Teri beef was descent for the price and ginger was fresh on the side. The wasabi looked like a green melon pudding so we left that alone.We chose to give 4 stars because the staff was so nice to us while we were eating and when we were leaving. Overall, a comfortable experience as we were the only customers in the restaurant.

This was a slight disappointment, BUT maybe this could be someone's else cup of tea. The place was clean which is a plus. The workers were very helpful, but the younger ones were on their phone the whole time. The rolls were HUGE - so much rice . I personally don't like that. Also you can tell that the fried items were not freshly made. But maybe I just caught them on a bad day. Unfortunately I won't be back but maybe you'll have a better experience than I did (:

Went here a few weeks ago. Just forgot to review. We had the Green dragon roll, spicy ahi bento, calamari, and the melon and mango? (Orange can) soda. We eat here plenty times before and think they're the best Ninja Sushi location on island. Aunty is always accomodating to us and that's the biggest reason we come back outside of liking their food.They are set up for take out mostly since the lockdowns. They still have tables and chairs for dine in if you prefer. We like dining in when we are here.We'll be back again when we get the craving for sushi. This place is like comfort food to us now!

We usually order the OLDT from waipio, but my son accidentally selected this aiea one. The sushi looked the same but the taste was different. The sushi was bland, but the worst part was the fish tasted old and fishy.Don't think I'll buy here again, and luckily I didn't get sick even if the fish tasted old.

They are always nice when I go. The owner is very sweet. But 1 shoyu packet for FOUR orders of tekka maki? Seriously? ‍

Went in today to make a purchase. The young man behind the counter not very friendly. On my way to hospital was asked to bring sushi. I ask him to name the three best popular sushi rolls. He hands me a menu and says, Here!Wow. Really? I guess they don't need my business. I gave it back and left.

The sushi had no tastes we could not eat it we paid $34 dollars and when we called the restaurant she said if we bring back all of the sushi order she would give back the money I told her that we had to eat some of the sushi and that we will bring back what we didn't eat she said no all the sushi or no money back that's wrong we didn't eat 3/4 of our sushi But she said all of the sushi I don't think anybody should eat there anymore very bad customer service so sad

This is the 1st review I have ever written! We have eaten from restaurants where we were not completely satisfied, however, we gave the restaurants the benefit of the doubt & was never compelled to write an unsatisfactory review! The sushi from Ninja Sushi @ 98-150 Kaonohi is the worse sushi we have ever eaten! We eat sushi several times a month & try different establishments from time to time as we like to support local. This is our first and DEFINITELY OUR LAST TIME going to this Ninja Sushi! The sushi rice is tasteless, the spicy ahi was mushy & tasted awful, California roll had imitation crab with mayo only & also had no taste, all of the nigiri was not fresh &, of course, didn't tasted good because the rice was awful! We ended up throwing majority of the food away. To top everything off, the worst part about this very unpleasant & total waste of money experience is that there was a hair in the California roll!.
