Tucked way back in Hawaii Kai, this off the beaten path, this multi-generational, family run, nursery had everything I wanted and then some. I was a bit trepidatious due to the drive out there, but pleasantly surprised by the smiles when we arrived. Fun and engaging staff. It's a little light on facility maintenance otherwise a treasure for the area. Great pricing on the items I selected!

the Nii nursery is my favorite of all, they have a great selection and are always ready to help and give advice on plant care, like their neib "charles nii" the Nii nursery has more "hawaiian" stuff, usually have over several hundred types of hibiscus, many hybrid that only they have and if you go early in the morning they cut the flowers and show them at the entrance. They also have concrete items for sale. conveniently located in upper hawaii kai. not uncommon to see wild piggies go running by up here.

You want roses? This is the place to get them!! The only place here on Oahu to get quality roses with a HUGE selection...almost year round. They order from WEEKS Roses, which is a good rose company. They have tree roses, David Austins, Floribundas, Teas, Climbers, EVERYTHING! They're all grafted roses tho, so if you're looking for own-roots you'll have to go online (heirloomroses.com is the best). Super sweet lady works there, and is always willing to help you with anything you want! $15-$20(potted) $30(trees)

Went to RS Nii nursery to pick up some plants. That was the worst customer service ever. I asked Where I could find a certain plant, he gave me directions and pretty much made me find it myself. I was the only customer there. I asked him how do i pick a good plant, he responded "whateva one you pick is the good one" and walked away. I was informed that I was dealing with the owner. That was a shock, because he offered no knowledge of plants or how to care for them. Unlike the prior reviewer, he was not willing to help. They do have nice plants, however the customer service is below poor. I will not be visiting this nursery again. The one star was for the selection of plants

This nursery is stocked with so many different kinds of plants! They have a lot of beautiful roses. Richard the owner is very knowledgeable and Shaun who works there is also very helpful. The plants that we purchased were in great condition and we are looking forward to making our yard beautiful with the additions. The differences are lower prices and knowledge of how to water, fertilize, and basic care for the plants which to me is a must!Drive out to Hawaii Kai and you won't be disappointed!

R & S has an excellent variety of plants. Reasonably priced. R & S is awesome if you like Edible plants as one of the best selection of Citrus, Mango, some avocado and Figs. Rose selection is huge. Gardenia varieties galore. Compared to all other plant nurseries and shops this is the cream of the crop. Friendly owners & helpful when available on site.
