Nick was absolutely amazing on our wedding day. The energy he brought was everything you could ask for in a photographer for such a special day in your life. He made us feel comfortable and made sure he had a list in advance to ensure all of our guest got pictures with us. We traveled from California so we hadn't had a chance to meet in person but Nick is so nice and such a great person that the chemistry was just there from the moment we met him the day of the wedding. Now, our pictures were to die for!!! Your wedding day is such a special day, you want to capture that moment to have forever and Nick did just that. We loved all of our pictures and we got them back pretty fast too. Nick is just such a genuinely cool guy. We had a blast with him, laughed and felt like we made one of those life long friends that we have to visit any time we come back to Hawaii.

I love Nick's work. I'm a huge fan, back to the days where he did surf photography. Now I trust him with taking the pictures for all of the milestones in my life. I've done engagement, wedding, trash the dress, underwater, and family photos with Nick. I strayed away when I did maternity and baby photos with other photographers, but in the end, I should have stuck with him and I've ultimately come back to Nick. He's the best. I'm so at ease during his shoots and he makes me feel like I'm a model (even though I'm not). We're constantly laughing. And he's captured some of the best moments of my life in the pictures I have, most recently after my son became a year old. The quality and creativity of his photos can't be beat. I'll be back again for the next milestone! Truly his vision, but our treasures.

We hired Nick for our outdoor wedding in Kailua. We could not have made a better choice! Nick and his team were an absolute joy to work with. He was very easy to work with, he followed through with all agreements, and he accommodated our every request. Not to mention, his pictures were absolutely amazing! What we liked about Nick when interviewing photographers was the amount of pictures we would receive, the quality of the pictures, and the fact that he does not restrict the image sizes he gives to you. We've hired photographers in the past who limit the printable image size so that you're forced to order from them. Nick also went above and beyond in helping us to plan our wedding. He Skyped with us monthly to check in with how the wedding planning was going and he also helped us to find other vendors. From florists to videographers, he definitely knows the business. I highly recommend his services for any type of event you're planning.

Instead of getting engagement photos, we opted for honeymoon photos! So I needed to find a photographer in Hawaii. First thing, I went on yelp and looked at photographers' work. I narrowed it down to 3 and requested a quote. Nick was the only one that gave me his phone number to call with any questions. Having already worked with wedding vendors this is not always the case. It put my mind at ease to talk to him and discuss my ideas and locations. That really was what sealed it for me.Nick has a great personality! I was grateful he gave position placement while shooting. We waited for the sunset shots, but there was a storm out in the ocean blocking the sun:( It's Hawaii...it happens. Well when we got back to our hotel, Nick texted us to see if we wanted to try the other side of the island for sunrise shots, since we didn't get the sunset. Wow! He really went above and beyond knowing we were only in Oahu for a few days and flew in for this one time experience.The photos came out great! Nick had many great ideas for shots and took ours suggestions as well. He was extremely professional and produces amazing results. We highly recommend Nick. He not only left a great impression with us, but he gave us magazine worthy pictures that take us back to Hawaii time and time again. Many Thanks Nick!

We hired Nick to shoot our wedding ceremony at Turtle Bay on the North Shore. We were coming from Virginia, so there's a 6 hour time difference that made it difficult working with other vendors. Nick, on the other hand, always responded by afternoon EST (so morning his time). He was also available by phone, email, or text which was very convenient since I had to travel a couple of days before the ceremony.We had a little mix up wiring funds, but Nick worked with us to make sure we got the payment right, and most importantly, that we had a photographer for our ceremony. I was very impressed with his professionalism.When we finally met Nick in person, my wife commented on his "bedside manner." He was very easy to work with and gave great instruction to make sure the portraits came out perfectly. He also had amazing ideas for the limited time we had, and also incorporated some ideas from my father-in-law. Relative to price, I believe Nick was slightly more expensive than other photographers I looked at, but it was definitely worth the cost and you get what you pay for. We're very happy with our images and they will last a lifetime. If we ever need photographs back in the islands, or if we have friend/family doing a Hawaiian wedding we will not hesitate to recommend Nick.

Nick took our wedding pictures on the 3rd of June and we couldn't be happier! The pictures turned out amazing! Better than I could've ever imagined. He gaves us a great price and he is very knowledgeable, talented and experienced. He has a lot of suggestions and knows what looks good but is also open for whatever suggestions you have. We used Nick for our family photos for our holiday photo shoot and he was great. He met with us on location for the shoot and was very flexible with trying my different ideas. He also gave my two young ones a little goodie bag each as incentive to get to the end. Once I got the pics I had so many to choose from which surprised me because I didn't think we got many at all. I would definitely recommend him.

So glad Nick was our photographer! Nick was ready with his cameras, lights, bags, and sand-ready shoes.You can tell Nick really loves story-telling though his photos. I recall seeing him power-walking in the sand and to take photos. Despite the breeze and uneven lighting, all the photos came out wonderfully! They were all beautiful. Nick's style is timeless and vibrant which really captures the energy and the story of the best day!Nick is a personable photographer that made the photo-taking experience enjoyable, especially for coupes like us who are new to photo-taking. Not only is he personable, Nick shares posing tips and asked us to tidy up hair or our outfits during the shoot, which was a big plus, as there was a bit of wind through the day for us.Nick is a energetic photographer and his work is shows his talents.
