Shooting with Nick and Ann was not only one of the best highlights of my vacation to Oahu, but also from any trip I've had! I have long been a lurker on Yelp, but decided to write my first review because I felt so strongly about the experience and want to support their business however I can! (If you want to verify this review is legit and I'm a real person, feel free to message me here!) I was familiar with Nick's work from Instagram. He has such a distinct, strong style of photography, whether he's capturing portraits, surfing action shots, underwater photos, lifestyle candids, or scenic shots in nature. I was really excited to meet him and collaborate together on a shoot in conjunction with my media promotion for Honolulu Pride. Nick and his partner Ann are the dynamic duo. Incredibly friendly, engaging, and fun, they will immediately make you feel comfortable and in an adventurous headspace to capture some one-of-a-kind photos. Nick got me a surf board, gave me some helpful pointers, and then found the best possible spot in the ocean to take drone photos. He then came into the water with me and took some awesome action shots. The whole time, we were laughing and having fun, which made for a great shoot. Both Nick and Ann were incredibly timely, communicative, professional, and talented. In addition to the photography, they offered tips for the island and other great beaches for surfing, etc. The conversation was so great, we ended up hanging out and talking after the shoot was done. I can't recommend them enough as the perfect team to capture beautiful and dynamic memories for your trip to Oahu. Looking forward to seeing your photos!

I found Nick on instagram, he was very quick to respond. I explained my vision and the look I was going for. Well he did not disappoint. He executed my vision.Nick was very professional and quick to get me my photos back. I 100% recommend him if you are on Oahu. You will not be disappointed.

Review update 5/15/19: I've been shooting with nick for some time now. Reason being is that he is accountable, he is fast to return edited content, and he provides quality work. My biggest issue shooting with other photographers is that they take too long to return content. Nick on the other hand has from day one shown up early to shoots and provides fun location options. Nick will also scout out good spots to shoot in depending on the current lighting overall vibe that day (hence why he normally arrives to shoots early). Nick is easy to talk to so it's...easyyyy to communicate getting the best shots within the quickest amount of time. Whether you are new to shooting or you shoot for content regularly, Nick is a great photographer for you.

I am so surprised people hasn't discovered Nick on Yelp yet! Before I found Nick, I have contacted few photographers on Yelp. Some top rated photographers, phew, the price ain't cheap.I showed their pictures to my husband to compare with Nick's. He picked Nick. He said "if he can do underwater pictures this good, I am sure he can do land pictures just fine." So hell ya, Nick is the one! Working with Nick is so easy. He can catch your good angle. And he bought his girlfriend on that day. They are just so chill and she is so happy, always with a smile. Not just that, Nick sent me back my photos so quick! The service is beyond my expectations .

Nick did an amazing job shooting with my family! It was our first family vacation in 10 years and we wanted to document it. Before booking we had looked through his work and it's easy to say we were more than satisfied with the results. If you're in the area, definitely work with Nick! He knows what he's doing, provides the professional equipment and uploads in a timely manner. He was helpful in choosing locations and although we didn't have many poses picked out prior, the pictures came out stunning. Thank you Nick for working with my crazy family! Nick is a well-rounded photographer with unique compositions and beautifully edited final results. He offers services in portrait work and branding, both imprinted with the customer's signature style and perspective. The sign of a good photographer is being able to do the aforementioned while maintaining a look that is unmistakably his/her own. I believe that to be imperative, else why not let a robot do it? Nick's work displays this perfectly.As a peer, I've seen his work come into its own and use it as a source of inspiration for my own work. As a customer, I'm very satisfied with the results. I've bought prints that are hanging on my wall (something I wouldn't do if they didn't offer something unique and high quality), and have used his services for headshots and other miscellaneous profile pictures for future promotion of my own business.Choosing a photographer for professional use isn't a light decision, especially when one is surrounded by other talented photographers at all times . Finding someone who can accurately portray myself and my business, while simultaneously offering a unique style to set me apart from the rest was surely a stringent task. I'm thoroughly impressed and satisfied with the choice and will happily continue to use Nick's services moving forward.

Zero stars. We were on our babymoon in Hawaii and decided to do a maternity shoot with Nick looking at the impressive pictures on yelp. He was least interested in the photoshoot and was reluctant to give any suggestions on the background and poses etc. Similar to our experience during the photoshoot the digitals were below ordinary and in fact they were so bad that we printed out pictures that I clicked from my iphone after Nick left.
