As usual, they never disappoint! Price is low and the food was yum! I love their energy! They're always happy and always so nice. This time I got the iced white mocha with an extra shot of espresso and it was sooo perfect for my morning coffee. I love Sunday mornings here.

Since I've began working in the area back in 2019 I relied on delivery. Like where can I eat in this area? One day my co- worker mentioned food in New Hope. Blew my mind, like, seriously!?! At the church across the way? Yes, she said. Since then, I've found that the food was really good and this became a frequent place for me. They've since remodeled and moved to the back/ side area. Honestly, now that I've seen the new area so much I cannot really remember what the old area even looked like - LOL! Since their remodel and reopening their menu has changed and there are more food offerings. The food taste and quality is still really good. I really like their breakfast bento, which is very simple - egg, choice of meat, and rice, for $6. I've also ordered their fish katsu all salad - the sauce is good and coated well. The fish is not fresh fish, but a flaky fish, almost like it was the frozen kind. Not particularly a fan of frozen fish and flaky fish, but this is pretty good. I've also had their crispy pork belly - it was almost like a lechon kawali, with the tomatoes and onions, but It wasn't very crispy, more fatty and chewy. I was expecting something else... a picture I saw of pork pieces was not it. Recently I've ordered the garlic shrimp all salad and that tastes pretty good! It is fried with the shell on, making it crispy on the outside. The shrimp is deveined so the shell is easy to take off and get to the meat. If I need a coffee pick me up, their Caramel Macchiato is pretty delicious and creamy. The best part is that the coffee is just $3.75!They have an open seating area with a bunch of tables inside and an outside patio area with lots of seating. The staff is pretty nice and drinks/ food comes out fairly quick. Happy Eating :)

Coworkers always rave about this place so I thought I'd try it out. Got the gochujjang slow braised short ribs with rice and salad. First bite of beef made me think the meat had gone bad. Second bite wasn't much better. The color suggests it might be a bit off but it's my first time trying this dish so it might be normal? I started picking through the pieces and sampling the slices that seemed to have less discoloration and they tasted ok. But these bits - I feel like I'm choking down spoiled meat. Pretty disappointed, grossed out, and fully expecting to be sick later today.Update: Two stars since I ate the rice, salad, and maybe half the meat without getting sick. Had someone else sample a bit of the beef and they immediately spit it out and told me I'm disgusting for even trying to taste different slices to try and find edible ones, lol.

New Hope Coffee Company was love at first sip!I've worked down the road from this place for a few years, and never even knew this place existed until recently (word of mouth from a couple friends). I've been making a point to visit, and this morning it finally happened!Parking is plentiful, and on this rainy day, I was so thankful for covered parking. Upon entering the shop, I was greeted with a Good Morning & a smile by Barista Shawnee (sp?). Who needs coffee with a morning start like that?! lol Their menu is quite simple, but I dig it! Way cheaper than Starbucks, and it tastes so much better.I ordered:++ Small Caramel Macchiato with only 1 shot (comes with [2]) & Almond Milk - Best macchiato I've ever had! The caffeine was a kick, like really. This coffee is the good stuff. I already feel the productivity of my work day beginning, lol. They take credit card, have a stamp card & although they don't have a Starbucks app for those on the run... you can always call in your order, and it'll be ready when you arrive. How sweet is that!I'm totally sold. Awesome customer service (thanks Shawnee (again, sp?)), stress free parking, no lines, no annoyed baristas and great coffee! What more can you ask for to start your day?!Ditch the Starbies, I won't tell. Begin your day at New Hope. It's gonna be a good one. (;Yelp 2018 Challenge: 8/30

Once we found this cafe and got our food all I can say is I just got here from the south and the chicken they served me tasted like southern chicken super yummy and tasty! I was wonderfully surprised ! While the waffle wasn't my favorite I swear I tried to like it but it was something about it tasted off but it wasn't the original it was another flavor so def try the original ! Once you walk in you think it's just a cafe with coffee but there's a menu and lovely people answering your question! Make sure when you walk in you take the door to your right that is where the cafe is located ! It's connected to a church I believe but not a shabby location at all ! Plenty enough room ! They have lots of options if you're coming hungry I would definitely check it out !

Excellent service. Great food. Best part is being in the house of the Lord while enjoying some coffee or good local food. Should order ahead if you're on a time limit.

I discovered New Hope Cafe while surfing through Yelp for a new breakfast spot. I read the good reviews, looked at the food and read the menus then concluded that this would be a good new spot to try for breakfast. The food looked good and the prices were low. We got there on a Tuesday morning about 9:30 and we were the only customers. I ordered the Cafe omelet which was sausage, bell peppers, onion and mushrooms. My wife ordered the French toast sticks with scrambled eggs and Portuguese sausage. While we were waiting my wife commented that her coffee was really really good. I think they grind their beans fresh here and it was only $2.75. Then we waited and waited and waited. Remember we were the only customers at the time. When our breakfast was ready I was told that my omelet was kind of deconstructed, no problem. The omelet was delicious and it was only $8. The only flaw in my wife's breakfast was that the French toast was kind of dry. She doesn't care for soggy French toast but this was too dry. The Portuguese sausage was perfectly cooked with a nice browning on it. I don't know how much her breakfast was but the total for the two breakfasts and a coffee was only $20. One other thing that stands out here was that the staff is super friendly and it seems to rub off on everyone else.I looked at the lunch menu and told my wife that we should come back for lunch sometime soon. The reviews and the low cost is a good reason to return. I would had given 4 stars if it weren't for the long wait. Next time I will phone in my order beforehand.

First time eating at the new and renovated cafe. The relaxing feel and awesome customer service was a great start....but the winner was what I ate..boneless kalbi with local style fried rice. It was sooo onooooo..so soft and tasty the kalbi and the fried rice was tasty but not heavy or wet. The menu has so many options...need to go back.

What a nice change from the normal grind of the upscale Starbucks world. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy Starbucks but there is something "Spiritual" here that is reflected in the employees like "Kamalu" the Brew Master that made my Sugar Free Vanilla Latte with 2 extra shots! His friendly attitude and speedy service got me in a five star mood! All for few bucks cheaper than Starbucks too.Nice facility with a no pressure or religious push from anyone but plenty of friendly info just around the corner for those inquiring about the church.New Hope Coffee is a nice oasis here on Sand Island!I will be stopping in again soon! Praise the Lord and Brew that Coffee!

Ran across this Cafe while surfing Yelp and boy what a blessing we got! I ordered short ribs loco mojo and it was unbelievable. Tender and juicy beef smothered in a tomato based sauce with just a touch of heat. Better than any other braised short ribs except myMother's. Two eggs perfectly done as ordered, over medium.Husband ordered fried chicken and I have to say it is even better than Taniokas. Crispy on the outside and perfectly juicy and tender on the inside. And both for less than $24!!! Unheard of for short ribs. I don't think people know they are here but go now before everyone finds out and the lines start. Came for lunch but they have a good breakfast menu too. Gourmet food at drive in prices.
