Had a blast last night at XxXmas! So many live performances! Easy to track based on the posted schedule as advertised. Such a variety with enough time to get a drink refill every hour or so with live DJs all night. The bartenders were so fast! I don't think I've ever gotten drinks that fast at a bar that was so packed! Event last night even had local artists with pottery, leather crafts, and painted art.I'd love to come to another event like it.

Really amazing venue, been to several of their events. But my favorites have been the events led by Miss Savvy. Especially on XXXMas the Nextdoor crew was incredibly professional and made sure all the performers had what they needed and made sure they were able to put on a good show.I'm not sure what people are saying, even with technical difficulties and being let in 15 minutes later than scheduled, all the other performances and shows were ON TIME based on what was advertised.Fantastic show, Fantastic crew, and always a great venue

False advertising and poorly managed. Open on time. If you Sell tickets for 8pm. Open at 8. Have people standing out on street in Chinatown 20 min late. Nobody says anything. Yeah non of that sounds like fun About to walk and ask for refund. Supposed to be a cool Xmas kink type show. Not sure what to expect. The door guy is a tool. How long does it take to check ticket and ID? Finally moving at 20 after and now it is one person every few minutes? WTF Finally get inside and it's just a bar with dj one vendor and a stage set for a show. Supposed to be shibari and other cool stuff guess we have to wait a few hours for that too. You know just advertise it's a nightclub with live music and some show. Don't hype it up to be something it's not. False advertising and poorly managed. Manager should have had things handled and made sure people got in at 8, no reason for people waiting outside. Left and looking for refund that was garbage.Michael G.... This was my first time at this venue, the next-door. I am told that they have a variety of different events and music. This event I believe was private. It was EMO music I guess. With entertainers. It wasn't my vibe so I didn't stay too long. But we did buy a drink and bought something from one of the vendors selling stuff. The venue is large. It look like it had two levels. A large stage at the beginning of the entrance. The people that were working, the event were super friendly. The lines moves quickly. The bar is large and the bartender was friendly.

I want a refund for my 2 tickets for tonight's "event." We were told doors at 8pm but they didn't open till 830. In addition, when we did get in, after waiting in line for almost an hour without ANY word from anyone about the hold up, it was immediately apparent that what was advertised is NOT what was happening. There were supposed to be vendors. One person selling pottery is not what was advertised. One person braiding hair is not what was advertised. Theme night at a bar is NOT what I bought tickets for. I feel duped. Whomever put this event clearly has no Idea about how to put on a professionally organized event. Total SHAM! Total false advertising. This was supposed to be a special night for my husband's birthday and it was ruined by this really poorly crafted "event".I'm incredibly angry and my husband and I will be blasting this on social media and Yelp.What a total let down. Just a bar with a theme. What a joke.Just stick with your bar theme nights, but don't con people into buying tickets to something they think they are going to get. Shame on you.It's 830, and they just started letting people in. Half an hour late, but no courtesy to telling anyone in line that they were having "technical difficulties"Clearly, no one here has a clue about customer service. They do know how to con you into buying a ticket to their non-events, though.Don't do it. You'll be disappointed and angry.

The XXXmas event was so much fun. Great performances, great people, great organization. Really cool to see such a different and exciting event in Honolulu's Chinatown being so well received by a large crowd. More like this!

I used to go a lot, not great place anymore! Why can't it be like the old days where there were a lot of events?

Hawaii bands rejoice, there's still a mid-sized venue to host an awesome show! Proper stage, coupled with an ideal floor plan and mix of dance floor space, high tops, and relaxed seating areas at the back. By far the best size and layout on Oahu for putting on an event for a hundred or so folks. As for the sound system, they boast a killer drum and bass backline, along with a rock solid PA system. And best of all, a professional dedicated sound man (Tommy) will coolly have you sounding your best during sound check, and be there to tweak levels via his iPad on the fly. Love, love, love Nextdoor! The service is very friendly, the ambience amazing, and the events a lot of fun! We went to yesterday's XXXmas event and it was spectacular. One of the best nights I had in a long time. Kudos to all the amazing performers, the organizer, and the multiple vendors. Keep those nights coming!

First time I went last Friday night and don't believe I'll be going back. Thought I'd check it out spontaneously with my partner. The girl in line in front of me told me it's $5 for ladies and didn't know how much otherwise. When we got to the front the lady told us it would be $60 ($30) each and must've seen my shocked face because she quickly stamped our wrists and said $40 is okay because of the wait. I checked online and if anything, it shouldn't have been over $20 because of the time we showed up. Went in because the girl in front of us said it was good and was disappointed. Literally just a somewhat large room with a stage up front (and not even a live entertainment night which made me even more surprised about the price). The music they played sounded like similar songs on a loop, the bar tender didn't even look at us even though there weren't many people getting drink, and it just felt way too crowded. Decided not to get a drink because of the vibes. We left after about ten minutes.
