NEX Mini Mart

Used to be the best mini mart on the base, now it can't compare. Only real reason to shop at this mini mart is if your across the port. If you just want to fill up gas, and get a quick snack. Barber shop, small liquor collection, navy related garments and paraphernalia. Subway, coffee shop. Fruit and veggie section. Alot smaller than the new mini mart that was just recently built up. Hate the parking situation here. Only in the military would they make one way routes in and out of a parking establishment, when clearly there is enough room to accommodate opposing traffic. So instead of being able to pull in easily through one entrance, there is a do not enter sign forcing you do a round robin.

This a place for convenience. It has just enough to get you through your current situation. It is perfect for an early morning coffee and a quick bite to eat. The staff is usually very nice and friendly. The subway can get pretty busy and the barbershop is usually not a very long long wait. I've been coming to this place for almost 6 years and the only disappointing thing is when they took liquor off of the shelves forcing you to go to the air force side or the the commissary.

Clean, open 24 hours and quick staff. Wide variety of selection and fair prices. Lots of parking and the lot is always clean.

The nex cleaning staff are very unprofessional. They were walking around and sweeping the sidewalk during morning colors. While I was using the bathroom on of them kept shaking the doorknob to the bathroom door which is unnecessary and rude.

I love the size and selection of this mini mart. Like all of them, anything you can find at the commissary is marked way up but most everything else is a normal price. It wasn't dirty, though a few aisles were poorly stocked and their soda fountain was out of order. I love the outside seating though!

Arthur S was right on the parking situation with only one way in and out when you can fit cars in both directions. Yes there is a larger, newer mini mart on the other side of base, but this one is good as well. I feel it has a more complete stock but maybe that's just me. I know I've seen hydroflask there despite it being sold out at the Navy Exchange. I don't remember seeing it at the newer mini mart but that could just be me being blind. :) The prices are what they are in the Navy Exchange as far as I know. The workers are nice and try to move people along through the line. Once I came and there was only one cashier but she had a system down to use 2 different cash registers to help move the line down and she was still cheerful through it all! Props to her :)

This place has always been pretty awesome . Now with Seattle's best coffee gone there no more annoying girls that work there .

Friendliest staff. Best place on base if you're feeling snackish. Integral part of the community.
