Newtown Golf Driving Range

Been going to Newtown driving range for years. It's overpriced at $14 a bucket and I wrote about that before. However, now other places that are worse (like Ala Wai) have buckets at $14 so now we have to reset our expectations here. It's still one of the most expensive - Coral Creek, Kapolei are all $12 and automated - no need to go to a counter.But Newtown has fixed some of their problems:There is covering by the benches.The mats are better.There are spots to aim to.So all in all, still one of the better places to practice. The long lines are indications that this place is needed, despite the higher prices.One of the better (and only) places around Aiea.

Great spot to hit some balls with family and friends. Convenient location in Aiea with a drive inn style restaurant as well. A fun and affordable activity for outing or to practice for the course.

Great service and good location. Perfect place to get some practice in. They added some shade over benches which is great for late afternoon sessions.

Went to Newtown Golf Driving Range and was impressed by the upgrades in the facility. Covered sitting areas, new mats, range balls in great condition. Bought the large bucket and boy, was that a lot! Recommend this to anyone out Pearlridge area!

customer service was great and hitting stalls all have a nice bench and nice room for swinging. one of the rare ranges open at night on the island. also the restaurant they have is amazing, great local food and all around great vibe couldn't ask for much else.

If you want to unwind, hit a few balls to relax or practice. This spot is the place to go. Not pack, depending on the day and time you go to. There's a food place too, that has great food for the price so can't go wrong either

Inflation has hit Newtown? 1 bucket of balls is now $14. during peak hours $12. early morning. I don't understand, are they importing those balls?

Very nice range. Open later than most and have bright lights so you can see where your ball is going. Stalls are assigned but when it's not busy you usually can choose. They prefer those who are good/don't slice to be at the stalls near the road which makes sense. Other than it being very busy at nights, the range is solid.

Had a nice golf practice in the afternoon.It's $16 for a large basket which lasts for a good hour or so. Parking can run out fast, but it was chill at this time. I like the middle stalls, but depending if you slice or hook, you may want to pick the outer stalls. Each stall has a new pergola providing some protection from rain and sun. Their hours are from 9am to 9pm(10pm Fri-sat) with last call an hour before closing, granted there's a waitlist when it gets busy. I hope the prices don't get higher, it's my favorite range that's convenient and open late.

The staff was friendly and provided nice and calm service. Food was great, local, and plenty for the price of around $12-18 per plate.Definitely a go to spot for friends and family. There is a pro shop as well but I do not go inside or experience it at all.
