I know this place of business gets 4.5 stars but I do not understand why. This place was in a sketchy part of town and looked to be very dirty inside. Although these were concerns, the 4.5 rating on Yelp and high rating on Google, had us wanting to give it a shot. There were 7 total people in our group and we were looking for some authentic Thai food. As a group we ordered pad Thai, yellow curry, red curry, drunken noodles, pineapple fried rice, and a side of fried shrimp. It took about 30 mins to get waited on. The waitress seemed flustered with another family who was in there so we gave her the benefit of the doubt and she did bring multiple waters and plates. She staggered the meals out about 5-10 mins apiece. That was our first red flag. After about 3 plates we asked if the food was coming and she said they were down to one cook. We got both curry dishes and a pineapple fried rice in about a 30 minute span. So now we are all in for an hour of waiting without most of our food. The waitress then proceeded to bring a shrimp fried rice (which we did not order). We told her we did not order that and we ordered a side of fried shrimp and she went back and brought the ticket and said you ordered shrimp fried rice. She definitely did not hear us correctly and proceeded to charge us for the rice. 10-15 mins have passed and still our other dishes are not done. We kept seeing people come in and pickup to go orders and even the waitress running to go orders to people who had came in to order an hour after we had. Still no food. We asked again if the food was coming and she said it's coming up soon. 20 mins later, still no food. So at this point we were getting annoyed. We had been patient and still no food. The owner came out and said they only had one cook but it was clear they were processing to go orders and were making that a priority. After another 10-15 mins, the food came and they brought a tapioca pudding for our wait. Still they charged us for the rice we did not order and we waited a total of 2 hours without food while people came and went. This was some of the worst service I have ever experienced in my life. I would avoid this place at all cost.

So far; this is the most authentic Thai food I have tried yet on the island. And at a decent price for what I felt like I brought home. I spent $80 and service from start to finish was good. The cashier/server was helpful and helped get the order all correct! I did inform her that I have a shellfish allergy when ordering as well. The pad kee mao was just how I asked for it. The thick rice noodles were just what I was looking for since I moved here to the island. The chicken was more thigh and I prefer the white meat but I would definitely order again and maybe change meat selection. The fried was not my middle son's favorite but big bro and little bro thought it was good and just to their liking. The phó broth was okay, I definitely found my phó place further away and that's okay. The egg rolls were delicious. Would not change a thing. The peanut covered clear dip was just what they needed as well. My son ordered a boba Vietnamese iced coffee and it was perfect. The chicken satay was a hit. It came with 4 sticks loaded with meat. The meat is well flavored and remind me more of a kabob since they are loaded with pieces of chicken. They do a great job with this item here. I'll be back soon.

Best Thai Coffee Ever!!!! We love everything here too when it comes to the food! Pad Thai, Pho, Curries, Fish Patties, Tom Yum service is always friendly and quick. This is your typical hole in the wall but delicious when you find it kind of location. Everything inside displays "Thai".

Ordered to go from here while we were visiting and staying in the area.My wife is a vegetarian and asked if they could make the Pad Thai and the curries vegetarian, without fish sauce. This tends to be an unexpected problem at Thai restaurants. But not here. The young lady taking the order was very well informed and helpful in saying everything on the menu could be made without fish sauce. We got an order of pad Thai and green curry. Both were delicious. I also got an order of the chicken skewers for myself. They were perfect very tasty and a meal in itself. While picking up the food, I noticed the dining area has lots of tables and seating. Next time, maybe eat inside? If we were ever lucky enough to be back in the area, we would order from them again.

Food is still delicious, at least my prik khing, yellow curry with fish, and the fried spring rolls. But, it's getting more difficult to eat there now. They close at 130pm after lunch (used to be open nonstop from 11 to 8pm) and reopen later in the afternoon. And dine in service stops at 7pm although they will accept to-go orders until 730pm. Why is this problematic? I like to hike the nearby pink pillbox for sunset then hit Spicy House for dinner. Unfortunately, that's no longer possible due to their operational hours. I know covid changed the world/restaurant ops, but limited hours make eating Spicy House a lot more difficult

We ordered the spicy fried fish fillet, laarb (ground chicken), on choy, cucumber salad (Laotion style), and Thai fried rice (w/ beef). ALL were delicious. We also tried their mango and pineapple boba drinks. I really liked the mango one.Love this mom and pop local vibe restaurant. FYI, I'm not local. I was visiting from California. And this place was amazing. They seem to get very busy dishing out take-out orders even though we were the only family there dining in at one point.

Nestled in Maili as you drive west. It doesn't look like much from the outside but don't let that fool you. Try to go when you can make a right turn in, bc with all the construction going on, making a left would suck. Also double check on hours bc they break mid day. This place had been recommended to me by a client that is a chef/nutritionist who lives on that side. I even texted him about what to get and he recommended the curry and the pad Thai. I am always a sucker for cashew chicken so that was always going to be a part of my order. I really wanted a sampler appetizer to get to try the most items but they were out of that particular dish so it will have to wait for another time. The waitress was so sweet and was very attentive. She never asked us what spice level we wanted but I guess that was still ok.... I can ask next time. The Panaang curry came with a little kick to it but I could probs handle more. The place was very clean, and nice interior. The service was great as was the food. It is safe to say we willl def be back to try more dishes.

Food here always hits the spot. Curries are amazing and flavorful, but the lao sausage is the one I crave the most. Sometimes the wait time is crazy but I get it, they can get busy sometimes and I'm willing to be patient. I always admired the decor here, the tables and chairs are cute in here too.

Great food, easy to dine in, and they have a booth at the makeke selling their pumpkin curry that is to die for! Wish they picked up their phone more often for takeout orders.
