The ladies here are wicked fast and will place your order quickly. The variety of meat is delicious! There are also hot soups available but they only come in seafood and pork. The BBQ comes in beef and pork assortments. We got the Modeum combo - beef tongue, brisket, beef tripe, and outside skirt steak. They were good cuts of beef for the price. 9.5We also got the seafood pajon/pancake. Very savory and delicious. Highly recommend it. 9.5/10The Denjang Chi-Ge soup has spicy and had pork/veggies. It had a slight fermented taste with that sour bite. Perfect for windy and cold days. 7/10The side dishes paired well with the meat and when I asked for extra kim chee daikon they gave us some more. There are some parking stalls in the back of the restaurant. Happy yelping and eating!

One of the best Korean yakiniku restaurants on the island. Been going here since I was a young child. The food is authentic and exceptional. I recommend the inner thigh (anchang). The banchan are refillable and are usually pretty good. I always ask for raw garlic to grill. Service is not bad, sometimes it can be hard to get the aunties' attention when it gets busy. The ambiance is nothing to write home about. It's clean but a little old inside. It smells like barbecue meat. The prices have been steadily rising since I was young. Portions seemed to have gotten smaller too. Inflation is rough. The meat quality remains high and the seasoning is great.

Great food, quality meats. Yakiniku is great but some stand out dishes are actually the pre cooked items like the seasoned pork ribs or the seasoned chicken.

I used to love eating here especially the yakiniku style beef intestine. So I ordered the medium combo for two which includes the beef intestines with other miscellaneous meats. When she brought the order I noticed it was missing the intestines so I asked where it was and she told me that they don't serve it because it's too expensive. I asked her why is it on the menu if you don't serve it as shown, she had no response and walked away. Worse customer service ever.

The bad first to get it out of the way. The parking lot is small and it's not easy to find street/metered parking. The restaurant was definitely small and where I was sitting there was a drip of water falling from the ceiling. I'm not sure that would pass certain inspections. The good news is the food is pretty decent if you're looking for a more authentic Korean experience. The banchan included kimchi, cucumber kimchi, spinach, bean sprouts, and two types of radish kimchi (white and spicy). I ended up ordering the pork spare ribs. They were grilled, juicy, and lightly salted on a bed of onions. I thoroughly enjoyed the rib and onion combo and the slightly charred flavor from the grill. It was too much to eat all at once so I had to take the rest to go. The location is very casual and the ajumma was nice and was quick to get anything we needed, I'd have to say the food was the most authentic out of the Korean places we tried on the island. And yes, they use STICKY rice, which many other places don't. I'd definitely come back and try some of the other dishes next time I'm back on the island.

I love going out and eating wonderful korean food, from the banchan to the sizzling meats, to the delicious sauces, and the fresh lettuce to wrap everything up in.I don't remember all the things we ordered, but it was a blurry meat filled experience, with I think a side order of soft tofu soup, and soju, and some beers.Service was decent considering how busy it was, it was what we could hope and expect in such a bustling place.

Workers were nice. They knew what to do. The Pork was good, the marinate was authentic korean. I wish they would at least ask to refill the banchan though. Cost is ok for what you get. Kind of hole in the wall style. But I like how they use the asian aunts as workers! And the cooks all look like they been cooking for awhile. We got the Pork ribs and Soft Tofu stew. The pork was grilled very well and stew had good broth. It seemed a lot of people order the meats here. Private lot but it gets full fast!

Came here because my father in law wanted a noodle soup they had. This place is TINY and parking is limited to street or back parking lot with only a few designated spaces for the restaurant. If street parking, you pay at the meter and it's free after a certain time. Walked in and the smell was immediately bbq. Each table has the bbq grill in the center. We were seated in a back corner and waited on immediately. Staff was cordial and food was out quick. I ordered the bulgogi and mandu. The food just wasn't as good as other places we had been to this week. The bulgogi was not very flavorful. The mandu was ok, the sauce it came with had very little flavoring. I actually gf more flavor dipping in my daughter's soup.

This is my GO TO Korean BBQ spot on Oahu. This back alley, cinder block laden restaurant is a no frills spot that serves up some of the best meat selections. Ambiance is rustic, in a Hawaiian sense, and very casual. It can get smoky inside if the place is packed so be prepared to smell like meat and BBQ when you leave. We ordered the Jumolook and pork belly and both were great quality. I love that they provide the sesame oil dipping sauce without mention. All of the sides were very good too and of generous portions. Service is authentic and quick! Don't expect much unless you're proficient in Korean, but they're a lovely staff.
