Small little specialty store for needlepoint and cross stitching on S. King St. Parking is tricky as there's only street parking but my hubs took me right before they close at 4pm so he just parked in the back and waited in the car. Owner was very helpful! Got what I needed! Will go back one day when I have more time to shop!

What a great find today! There are so many fun threads to look at and touch. And while there is mostly needlepoint canvases to choose from, there is a supply of cross stitch patterns to browse through right near the owner. My mum, teen, and I had fun going through the files. And what a treasure to find Hawaiian-themed patterns and mini kits, something we can't find on the mainland in the bay area!

Wonderful experience. Owner Gussie is a delight to work with. Knowledgeable experienced. Bought three canvases and threads and she mapped out threads for each piece. Came from NY then Arizona and came upon this glorious find. Worth visiting if needle craft is your hobby

I'm so glad they're still in business. They have beautiful painted canvases that showcase local artists and Hawaiian themes. It's a commitment but the canvases make great souvenirs to remember your fantastic Hawaiian trip by. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable.

Gussie has masterminded a number of Hawaiian themed needlepoint projects for me over the years. Each has turned out beautifully and visiting her shop is one of the highlights of my trips to Honolulu.I have been slowly working on a large, intricate Iolani Palace canvas that my husband requested. A couple of weeks ago I could not find my hank of white wool. I looked everywhere and then turned to Needlepoint Etc. Thank goodness Gussie is still in business and as cheerful, helpful and competent as ever! We solved the problem over the phone and within three days I had the precious wool threaded in my needle in San Francisco. Whether you are a local or vacationer, Gussie, and her wonderful shop are not to be missed. My needlepoint pillows are lovely mementoes of Hawaii and fill my house and heart with Aloha. Mahalo, Gussie.

I have been going to Needlepoint, Etc. for years when I travel to Hawaii. The owner is so knowledgeable and helpful. She takes the time to help select the right threads, colors, etc. Her inventory of canvases is great and varied. I am most impressed with her talent displayed throughout the store. She does great stitch guides as well. My favorite is her Pegge Hopper canvases that she needlepointed and are on display in the store. Inspirational. I highly recommend this store to anyone.

Visiting from California- looked up Needlepoint Inc. online to make sure I was there when it was open. I took Uber from Waikiki - got to the store and it was closed. There was a sign on the door saying it would be closed until 9/26. It would have been nice if the owner would have posted this on the website. I've wasted more than an hour of my vacation and $30 trying to visit her store only to find that it would not be open for my entire stay in Hawaii. Very disappointed.
