Checked out the Food and Product show at the Neal Blaisdell Exhibition hall Sunday .I haven't come here for a while so i decided to check out their fish pond around the entrance of the Arena and the Exhibition hall.By in the day or ever since I can remember must be long time ago the fishes were more like small guppies and Talapia fish .To my surprise wow there's now Papio and my wife spotted a big Barracuda. Hmmm I think I will go late at night with my fishing pole and do some fishing LOL JK.It was a good turn out at the Food and Product Shows lots of people. Parking was $8 and Entry fee was $6 adult . I dropped a lot of money this weekend but that's ok to support local businesses is a must .

Neal S. Blaisdell Exhibition Hall had an event New Products and Food Show from Friday, Nov 8th - Sunday, Nov 11th, 2024. It was nice to see products/gadgets/toys, food, food, food, and samples. Also an added bonus, I got to meet a Hawaiian fellow yelper in person, Irene T! She was attending this Food show as well. That was fun.

Went to the FOODIE CON & EXPO this past April 29,30 2023 weekend and it was my first Foodie Con & EXPO. I was REALLY REALLY looking forward to it cause first of all who does not love FOOD and I do LOVE my FOOD ETC. So I decided to check it out i went on the first day Saturday I went around 4pm to 530pm (foodie con closed up at 6pm on Saturday) What I mostly seen was lots and lots of SNACKS SNACK SNACKS local snack vendor I'd say 1/2 of the vendors PACKAGE SNACKS (was hoping too see more FOOD FOOD like Plate lunch and fusion eats) but didn't see as much so was a little disappointed. But we made the best of it bought some local snacks from some vendors like OHANA STYLE SNACK COMPANY, HAWAII CANDY FACTORY, HONOLULU CRISPY BEEF JERKY COMPANY. Just to name a few. Also had this product vendor that was selling them reusable fold up bags as well and I bought some at 5 for $20 so I'd say that was a deal. Good for your idea grocery shopping etc. Would I want to check it out again next year when it comes around via FOODIE CON & EXPO yes yes yes mos def I don't mind checking it out again faSho. Admission was $5 I believe for local residents and $6 for non local residents and also if you park inside of the Blaisdell parking structure it is $8.00 flat rate parking.

Even though the Neal Blaisdell Exhibition Hall is the "newer" of the other two places at the Neal Blaisdell Center--Concert Hall and Arena, it feels the most dated. The concert hall has its charm while the Arena has its appeal, the Exhibition feels dark, plain, and boring. It feels like a warehouse with the plain white walls, ceiling high windows, and cement flooring similar to a sidewalk.Even with lively events, expos, trade shows, collector shows, and etc, that warehouse feeling doesn't go away due to the very poor lighting and flooring. At least there is air conditioning! Restrooms are....old, but as long as it's functional right? Now don't get me wrong, it is not that terrible. The exhibition hall is quite spacious and very easily accessible with plenty of parking options than the main parking structure. If someone creates a Yelp page for that, I'd give it ONE STAR. The stalls are SO TIGHT. Hello! Need to readjust to modern cars, and not ones for the 70-80s.Good news is the construction and renovation of the Neal Blaisdell Center is slated to start very soon, if not already started. Revive this sad and depressing Exhibition Hall!If you take away all those reviews that talk about the events rather than the Exhibition Hall itself, you'll find the star ratings are quite less than the four star average shown here.

This Collectible show has a lot of vintage things. Some newer things that are collectible as well. If you're looking for something from your past this would be the place to come. From 45's record and Albums to Primo Swim shorts. Figurines, puka shells, coke bottles from 1970's and Garments that you wouldn't be caught alive wearing at home!!There's food and drink booths so if you thirsty or want a snack there located towards the back and side of hall. Plenty people but the air conditioning system is full blast so trust me it's Nice and Cool. Upon entering you see a long long line. Make sure you purchase your ticket before standing in the line The line does move fast so no worries. Come check this out.

I really do enjoy coming to events here but they really need to figure out the parking situation. I'm sure the businesses around are not happy about the parking situation either.I think Made in Hawaii should be at the convention center. There was too many people...I heard it more than once while walking around that it was the afternoon traffic on H1...it literally was. I'm glad that the people were nice about it, everyone was patient.I saw some new vendors and that was really good. Maybe they should add another day to lessen then foot traffic. Just a suggestion. Good job everyone for being patient ..especially with the hot weather.

Stopped-in today at the Hawaii Oceans Expo. It was moderately busy. We manage to find street parking close by.There were lots of vendors today some not related to the ocean theme. Kind of wondering to fill all booths up?! Anyway, different story. There were lots of food vendors as well. They had raffles and give aways that I just missed when I walked in. A man said, he won a pretty big cooler with the raffle that he paid $5. The cooler was worth $1000.I picked up some knick knacks and some smoked Marlin. It was nice walking around and killing time before our dinner reservation.

The "Gathering Place." The name says it all. I think that should be the nick name of...The Neal S. Blaisdell Exhibition Hall. Don't you think? It is the perfect place for Trade Shows, The Food and Product Shows, Wedding and Baby Expos, Craft Fairs, Health Fairs and so many more. Their facilities are large enough for those type of venues. It is very spacious, well maintained and clean. There are two large bathroom facilities located on opposite ends of the hall and one right outside of the hall. Just enough to accommodate the crowds. The Neal S.Blaisdell Exhibtion Hall is located right in the heart of Honolulu. They are surrounded by many restaurants...some within walking distance or by car. The Ala Moana Shopping Center and Ward Villages are nearby, too. The City Bus has a bus line located around the property which makes is very convenient for guests. If you choose to drive there, there is a parking structure for a fee. In addition, there are street parking for those who are interested.

Eh, its ok. a bit antiquated. Decent space. I mean let's be honest the whole Blaisdell facility is pretty aged and old. old crusty concrete work, old support beams. The parking structure is great either, The arena is pretty bad and too small as well. I don't know if it needs to be demo'd or retrofitted. They have interesting architectural lines and stuff on the exterior. It like modern for when it was done way back when but as per functionality, its just seems to be thrown together. bleh. the concert hall is decent though. Ahead of its time when it was built but dated.
