Jackson was great! Great tour guide! Kind, funny, knowledgeable! If your booking the Water Fall tour, make sure to book thru Jackson's company only! Don't book thru a 3rd party! We ended up booking thru a 3rd party, and come to find when we got to the falls there was no water, due to the drought. No fault of Jackson's, we still had a great hike, great breakfast and lunch! Some great sites along the way! It's well worth the trip!

We went to Waimea valley with our tour guide Amoi and driver Ross. Both were friendly and nice. However, I was concern when our tour guide told us we can possibl y get the flesh eating bacteria from the waterfall. What?! I don't remember seeing that on the consent form..regardless, we didn't get go into the waterfall anyway because there hasn't enough rain and therefore not enough water. It was just a pond of stagnant water. The nature garden was nice as you can see the many different tree, flower, and local native plants. it was a fairly easy to moderate walk. Can be more challenging for those with knee or foot injuries but doable with frequent breaks. I wished we could have spent time swimming at sunset cliff beach or shark's cove as a trade off for not being able to swim in the Waimea waterfall and cut down on the time at Dole plantation as it was just mostly shopping anyway. We made two quick pit stops at sunset cliff beach and sharks cove for photos only. We also went to a coffee farm for breakfast, the tomato and pesto roll wasn't exactly my favorite, took the staff a really long time to prepare and I was the last to receive my breakfast and felt rushed to finish my food before I could enjoy shopping.

Excellent hike and adventure for the family. Amazing views in the rainforest, very close to Waikiki. The guide did a great job explaining the main sites, the vegetation and the plant life in the forest. Susumu (guide) did a great job and was very friendly. I would definitely recommend for families wanting a break from the sun. Susumu had bug spray and ponchos ready for us which proved very helpful. At the End of the hike, we stopped for a nice açaí bowl overlooking the island.

My daughter and I took the waterfall hike tour yesterday. It was the perfect amount of time at the Manoa Falls trail and saw the beautiful waterfalls. Lunch from Andy's was so good also with a beautiful view of Waikiki and Diamond Head. Our tour guide, Jackson, was so fun and engaging with our entire group. I would highly recommend this and hope you get Jackson as your guide.

It's very important for people to know that it's a steep hike 1/2 way up. Do not attempt to take any one in a wheelchair we saw older people and kids struggling to get to the end of this. The reason for the 3 star is due to not being able to actually experience the waterfall up close. Don't forget your water bottle peeps

This was a great experience our driver Jason and our guide Anoi were amazing and answered all of our questions. The ride to Manoa Falls was smooth. The hike to the waterfall wasn't hard but the terrain was rocky, uneven, and unstable. But the views and nature were beautiful. The waterfall was breathtaking. The atmosphere was humid, you will sweat. After the hike we picked up sandwiches and they took us to Tantulus Lookout to eat and enjoy the spectacular view. Overall I would recommend this tour 100%.
