Nate's Photography

Not sure how Nate succeeded in erasing all his reviews, but here it is again. Too bad I can't leave negative stars. Nate is unprofessional, condescending and outright nasty and he thinks he is untouchable because there aren't a lot of photography studios who can do high volume so he feels he can get away with treating people so rudely.

Zero stars are not possible so here we go again! Search up Nate's photography and see the old reviews. Nothing changes. Not professional person, not professional photos!

Zero stars! They try to guilt you in to paying extra for "touch-ups" and up selling you as if they are selling diamonds! They prey on you like vultures!During the photo session he said "that's a grin not a smile", "look at this photo, are you happy with that?", "that's not how people smile"....endless condescending comments. What a disgrace to Hawaii! Where is the Aloha? Zero class!When I asked for him to take a few more shots because I wasn't happy with the photos he said "your session is over, you can pick a photo from what I email you." The session was less than 5 minutes!Oh! By the way....I paid $50 just for the photo session! Photo packages start at $200. Who has that kinda of money?

Avoid this guy at all costs! He's super condescending and arrogant. I do not understand why schools use this guy. He's providing a service people pay for, in my opinion, he should at least try to be pleasant.

To say that Nate is a morally-corrupt scammer, who professionally preys on families that just want their kid's picture in the yearbook, would be a SEVERE understatement.I had my makeup and hair done beautifully for my senior portrait, yet my photos turned out FUGLY on the sole account of Nate and his condescending attitude. THANK YOU, Nate, for subtly calling me ugly throughout the session, for robbing my family of upwards of $200, and for overall subpar service.

I totally agree with the previous posts by the parents. I don't know why school keeps using this photo studio. He "offers" 5% discount for senior special that include extra touch up in addition to the regular or deluxe touch up if you pay $100 cash deposit. When you order the package, you can ask another touch up or braces erasing for like $60. He charges $78 "sitting" just to take a picture. We want our children to have beautiful pictures, but it has been an awful experience just reading and looking at how he does the business. I guess parents of the private school are paying hundreds of dollars because they can, there's is no choice and this is the senior year and don't have to deal with him again.

Thank the gods ... Nate's must have finally been fired because our school has a different - professional and friendly, photographer this year. Hopefully the other schools see the light soon and get another photographer too. There are SO MANY talented and professional photographers who would appreciate the opportunity, and treat students and parents with respect.

I've never seen such bad photos. Why the schools continue to use him is beyond me. a baby could take better pictures

Extremely overpriced mediocre photography. To top it all off, he's not a very nice guy. I had a negative review on here before and only now realized that he had his old ratings removed. I'd give zero stars if I could. It's a shame this guy got the contracts for Punahou and Iolani, otherwise he'd have to shape up or go out of business.
