I called on Friday to order a Peach Bavarian Cake for my husband's birthday for Saturday pickup. Spoke to Jocelyn who was so nice and friendly. She took down all the information & even told me the price before I hung up! $18.11 and it included a "Happy Birthday" written in blue icing on top!The cake was so soft and fresh! It is my husband's favorite! Wish there were more bits of peaches in it but still delicious!FYI: If you don't order ahead of time, they only have it on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays! Good to know!I had called the Kahala location on Wednesday & they told me I had to order 3-4 days in advance! Really am I going to get a fresh one? Very disappointed! So glad I tried he Koko Marina location! WIll go there from now on!

After watching The Umbrella Academy last night and that diner scene where the guy got a chocolate eclair, I was craving donuts. Not malasadas - sorry Leonard's truck at Koko Marina, I do love you - but regular donuts. I didn't want to go into town and choices in HK are limited - Safeway, 7-Eleven, Aloha... then I remembered Napoleon's Bakery!Sure enough, they came through with some fun flavors and favorite classics - my daughter will love the unicorn donut when she wakes up!

This bakery is open right next to the Zippy's that my family and I were having breakfast at. They had so many delicious looking confections. We ended up ordering a dozen Anadagi. To be honest, I didn't really like them. They were a little too dense and not very sweet. However, I think if I had dipped it into my coffee then it would have been a little better.The staff is super nice and the place is open really early. The next time I am here, I want to try out the other desserts so I can give them a better rating.

Sunday, May 6, about one p.m., after church, we stopped for desert at Zippy's (our favorite location) We didn't eat because on that day Calvary Chapel The Ranch in Waimanalo had its monthly pot luck lunch - We were not hungry but we wanted to have coffee and some desert. We love Napoleon's deserts, they bake everything on site.I wanted to write about the wonderful service this Zippy's always has. Everything looked scrumptious but I finally settle for a cinnamon twist, my husband had a chocolate glazed donut topped with Reese's and some of their fresh unique testing coffee. I forgot the name of the wonderful white mid-fifties sweet lady that took our pastry order - thru the outside window. She was very nice and helpful in suggesting a lemon merengue pie to take back home (KoOlina). It's always nice to seat outside in the fresh air overlooking the Koko Marina. I like this place no matter the weather is always pleasant. Lots of birds too, always looking for handouts too. In two years am yet to have a bad communication with the servers - it must be the management that keeps the workers happy.

We came for the donuts. They have OK donuts, not the best I've ever had. Close to grocery store bakery donuts. I can't speak for the other baked goods since I didnt try the other pastries or cakes.

We had a milestone birthday for my husband in the private room and ordered 1/4 sheet peach bavarian cake. It was delicious and everyone loved it! We pre-ordered on Wednesday for Saturday event. Cake was light, refreshing, moist and delicious. We highly recommend. Sadly, it is only available by special order ahead of time and only 1/4 sheet or larger. we highly recommend. it was perfect highlight of a wonderful party!
