Nanding's Bakery

Their Spanish rolls are a hit! My office mates enjoy it every time I bring it into the office! The ladies there are nice too! Salamat Po!

After visiting a nearby restaurant, we searched on Yelp for a bakery. Nanding's popped up, so we decided to give it a shot.We just wanted to sample a few treats, but ended up buying more than expected because Nanding's has a $10 MINIMUM PURCHASE when using credit cards (November 2024). The lady at the register acted like it was a huge hassle to add additional pastries to the order.Service sucked and the pastries weren't that great either.

Came here on a whim when the poke place was closed for the holidays. Decided to make use of our trip and Yelped a local bakery when this showed up.I love Starbread in the Bay Area and saw they had it here. They call it Spanish Rolls. They came out nice and warm from the oven. Not as sweet as what I am used to be but enjoyable. Also tried their ube pandesol bread. It didn't have much of an ube flavor. The feeling was cold. Perhaps it would have been better warmed up.Got a pineapple Swiss roll cake too. It reminded me of an upside down pineapple cake. It was moredoft and crumbly than chewy. Good flavor.The lap cheong roll was surprisely good. Better if it was warmed up.

Anpan and ube roll were really not filled with too much filling. It was a small edge of filling really. Bread itself was clearly freshly baked that morning, very sweet and soft. We also tried the ube rolls. For 8 rolls, it was $7 and some change. Ample parking. Good service.

Nanding's Bakery is a Filipino bakery that is known for their butter rolls - when we arrived, there was a small line, and most people seem to get dessert items to go.We came here to try their butter rolls, which actually was recently baked and piping hot - I thought it would be more savory, but it seemed a little roll filled with sweet sugary butter.You can see some of the staff hand-rolling other pastries, so you know that items are made on site.They're a little stingy with the napkins; how can a bakery not have napkins available?Located in a small strip plaza, there's plenty of parking.+stingy with napkisn+handmade pastries in house+plenty of parking in shared plaza lot

The Spanish bread at this establishment is absolutely amazing--truly a must-try that makes the trip worthwhile! However, I was a bit taken aback by the atmosphere upon entering. The lively chatter of the local tita's filled the air, yet I couldn't help but notice some side-eye glances directed at me because I wanted to take pictures. While I understand the desire to maintain a certain ambiance, I was hoping to capture the experience so I could share it and encourage others to visit your fantastic bakery!Despite the somewhat unfriendly environment, the highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the Spanish bread--it absolutely stole the show! However, I believe the customer service could use some improvement to match the incredible quality of the food. Overall, I encourage fellow foodies to make the trip for the delicious bread, but I hope to see a warmer welcome on my next visit!

My go-to for Spanish Rolls and Custard Pie. Got 3-dozen Spanish Rolls for my teen's holiday pot-luck at school... at his request. Also got my favorite pie for a family dinner. They loved it and easily convinced how/why it's the best custard pie (made in a Filipino bakery - creamy, not eggy). Thank you, Nanding's!

I love the Bico and Spanish bread. The ladies are so nice too. They have good selections of bread.

When I used to live in Oahu, someone gave me some Spanish rolls as a gift which I had never had before. Ever since then, I have not had anything as good as this place. I went back recently in person for the first time. These are so addicting. I didn't experience any rude customer service at all so I can't complain. I'll be back if I ever come back to visit again.
