So I come here every third Sunday of the month for my Kapolei Hawaiian Civic Club Meetings. I must say that even though I had a hard time finding this place, it is definitely a diamond in the ruff. It's located behind by barbers point, just pass tamura's at the end take a right go straight all the way down and in the fork of the road take that left where the fence is. You can rent out the facility for meetings etc hence why my Civic Club rents this space out every month to utilize it for meetings. -Air Condition-Well Maintained-Nice Facility-Clean-Bathrooms-Good Size Parking lot-8 meeting rooms-one story-Well lit

Home goods for a good price compared to what you find at other department stores. You can find Everything from light bulbs to plumbing fixtures, to landscape lights, screws, shelving to kitchen sinks. But be alarmed though that it is a nonprofit organization that is providing home goods at a discounted price. Their location is somewhat misleading, because it's not on Sand Island Access Road, it's in KaLaeloa, near Barbers point Elementary. If you google it, they'll show their real address. The place is an old warehouse, It's not fancy, it's not like city mill, their goods are separated by rooms, labeled in Hawaiian numbering, items separated by its use. However despite all the dust, compared to prices at big manufacturers and distributors, you can't beat it. But you do have to put your big glasses on and look through to find something you may like. Knock on the door, Have fun, and appreciate non profit!

I just finished their Self Help Home Repair classes at Nanakuli Housing Corporation's Training Center at Kalaeloa and was able to repair my screens and windows. The staff is so knowledgeable and helpful. You have to go to their Baseyard located at Sand Island. They sell new materials like vanities, fans, light fixtures, doors, windows, paint, etc. at 1/2 the retail prices. It truly is a wonderful place if you like searching for items on your own. It's not a fancy warehouse, lots of dust but worth the trip and the staff is great!

My husband and I attended the Nanakuli Housing Corporation and Baseyard Hawaii class and it was really informative, they had great content, the schedule flowed, and it was really interesting. Normally I would fall asleep and be looking for the door to escape, lol! The time went really quick and Clarence and the rest of the speakers were good (not boring). I would definitely recommend the class if you are looking to buy and don't know where to start or need help with fixing some financial issues.
