Nalu Health Bar & Cafe

I return to Nalu each time I travel to Kailua, and this was my first time trying the Waikiki location! I was so glad to see the same menu of my favorite fresh & healthy açai bowls on the island. It was busy in there, but the service was quick & on point.Nalu is located near the the Hilton Hawaiian Village, in a strip of boutiques & restaurants near Yard House. It has a simpler inside than the Kailua location. There's a pretty art design on the wall. There honestly isn't too much seating at this location, but you can find a spot outside around the stores.As a vegan, my favorite things on the menu are :- Lean & Green Juice- Nalu Bowl (you can order without the bee pollen and honey)- Veggie WrapYou'll get a good amount of food, and can choose between 3 sizes for your bowl. Everything is fresh and makes you feel so nourished.I loved experiencing the Waikiki location - and now I have a favorite açai bowl spot in town as well!

(+) Moana bowlNalu health bar is located on the Waikiki beach walk. You can find Kailua town coffee drip coffee, acai bowls, and other delicious treats and smoothies. Sandwiches and juices are also available.I ordered the Moana bowl, which is an acai based bowl topped with organic acai, banana, strawberry, granola and organic honey. What I liked about this bowl was the simplicity of it and the fruit was fresh and sweet. The texture of the acai is what I wanted in an acai bowl. My mom ordered the portobello mushroom sandwich. The mushrooms were prepared well and I loved the papaya Dijon. What a combination!Service/Ambiance: The service was good. The food and bowls were prepared in 5-10 minutes. There are tables inside and outside to enjoy your treats.Overall, I would recommend Nalu health bar for your acai bowl desires. They do a good job with it and with plenty of options to choose from, they delivered in terms of taste and quality.

Nalu is one of my favorite quick bites spots because they have a great menu of yummy and healthy foods like sandwiches, wraps, salads and acai bowls. My go-to's are always the Acai Bowls and Turkey Pesto Sandwich. They never disappoint and leave me satisfied without weighing me down. The prices are pretty reasonable and service is so quick.

Nalu has a lot of options for healthy eats and coffee. The place is small & crowded but seems clean. Service is fast and friendly. The $16 bowl was ok. The açaí had a strange pre-packaged flavor to it and the peanut butter came from a skippy jar. The bananas and other ingredients were good.

I got the Nalu salad and added avocado and ahi tuna. The salad itself was really tasty. I expected raw or seared tuna and it was cooked all the way through. If I had realized that, I would have added chicken instead .It took about 10 minutes to get my salad and I took it down to the beach to eat there.

Super nice staffUnfortunately when we were there the juicer and expresso machines were brokenAcai bowl was yummy and generous size. Would bring my own drinks next time though.

4.5/5We got 3 acai bowls, 1 of each of the options they had. I like that the base wasn't too sweet, which is what most places have. There was a generous amount of banana on each bowl and lots of granola, which I liked. The only suggestion would be to have more options. These are great staple bowls; however, it would be awesome to have a variety of fruit options or even a pitaya bowl option. Overall, solid experience. Lots of seating, clean, and ac!

Another amazing breakfast place in the area. It's located in the main area so it's easy to go if you're staying there. Food is served fresh and warm. I love the breakfast wrap! Staff are friendly. They take your order at the counter. Not a lot of tables inside. Maybe 4-5 inside and 2 outside. But you can always find benches around the mall. Will return for sure!

Cute shop with amazing sandwiches and açaí bowl. The cashiers are very friendly and has Japanese meal available for tourists. Highly recommend their açaí bowl. It comes with a lot of fruits and also a touch of honey! Price is very fair and they have a tiny açaí bowl option for those who prefer to get it as a snack. This shops locates in the heart of Wakiki so parking can be difficult. Has plenty of indoor and outdoor sitting.
