Nalu Health Bar & Café

I return to Nalu each time I travel to Kailua! They offer my favorite fresh & healthy açai bowls on the island, and I love their menu of fresh foods for a Kailua beach day. Nalu is located near Whole Foods, in a strip of boutiques. It has a cute vibe inside with a beautiful mural, and a good amount of seating. There is also bar seating out front.The staff is always friendly and I've never had to wait long.As a vegan, my favorite things on the menu are :- Lean & Green Juice- Nalu Bowl (you can order without the bee pollen and honey)- Veggie WrapYou'll get a good amount of food, and can choose between 3 sizes for your bowl. Everything is fresh and makes you feel so nourished.

Very kind customer service. Came for a açaí bowl but sandwich stole the show. After a beach day this hit different. Only thing that could have been better was they were out of cacao nibs and coconut shavings. They offered me other toppings instead which I appreciated

Haven't had açai bowls before so on our ride around the island and after our shopping trip at Target, we found Nalu nearby which had a high rating. We ordered a small açai bowl and it did not take too long for our bowl to get prepared.It was a refreshing light and healthy snack on a hot afternoon. I really liked the texture of the cacao nibs and granola in the bowl! Really glad we made this stop to try it out.

Everything tastes so fresh and it's quite sizable portion as well. Quick service and plenty of seating. Definitely recommend a stop if you're in the area but they also have other locations in Alo Moana and Waikiki as wells

I always strive to support local businesses, so disappointed to see big corporations moving in without contributing to the community. I recently ordered an açaí bowl to compare with Lanikai Juice. I opted for the small size, which is similar to LLJ kid size, but I noticed that Lanikai Juice offers more açaí. It took a while to get through all the toppings before reaching the açaí, and I found it challenging to eat without things falling off. A larger bowl would be helpful for this. Overall, the flavor was fantastic; I loved the combination of honey, coconut, and granola--it was full of flavor! Additionally, switching to wooden utensils would enhance the experience, as I wasn't fond of the plastic ones.Just a thought to go green .. I'm pretty sure the owners would love to protect their ocean.. surfers lovers

Have you heard the saying, healthy food makes you feel good? Nalu Health Bar & Cafe offers a light, savory and filling sandwiches, açaí bowls and fresh juices and smoothies. We had their caprese panini, ahi tuna sandwich, ahi wrap, Moana bowl and greenergy juice. The sandwiches and wrap were delicious and the salad was fresh. The açaí bowl was refreshing and the juice cooled me off! The colors are so vibrant and just pretty perfect to look at. I forgot to take a photo of their cute little cafe but it was a pretty perfect small place in Kailua. You'll just have to make a stop to see it for yourself. Their staff were pretty quick too. The one thing I'd probably recommend would be to have their trash move closer to the door or somewhere not too close to the tables.

I'm usually in the mood for a good acai bowl. While in Kailua after leaving the beach with my dog, I swung by Nalu and placed an order online for pickup through clover. The place is super cute, some seating outside and inside. They have 3 acai bowls to choose from, I got the medium Nalu bowl - perfect size. All the bowls just seemed basic to me, which isn't bad, I guess I just wanted more variety. But they had lots of sandwiches and wraps to choose from as well that looked good! The Nalu bowl was good, I liked the fresh fruit on top but there was SO MUCH GRANOLA. basically the whole bowl was granola with acai drizzle it felt like. I still enjoyed the flavor and crunch. The service was quick and the girls were friendly.

Beautiful space, healthy and diverse menu! Was curious about Nalu because of the great reviews and because they have two locations (another in Waikiki). - Açaí bowl (2.5 stars): so beautiful, covered in fresh fruit - too sweet for me.- Steak Wrap (3 stars): tasted fresh but did not like the sauce. Overall was not satisfying and would not order again. Comes with a side salad. Street parking readily available with several parking lots nearby.

Yummy bowls made with real açaí and naturally sweetened. The fruit toppings are so fresh and with the other toppings, the bowl looks so perfect. We've ordered sandwiches from here too and everything is so good and so flavorful. You can trust the ingredients are healthy and organic!
