Prepare to be spooked! The Mysteries of Hawaii Haunted Ewa Beach and Kapolei Bus Tour is an experience like no other. From the moment we boarded the bus, the atmosphere was electric with anticipation. The guide was an incredible storyteller, weaving eerie tales of local legends and ghostly encounters that left everyone on edge. The tour took us to some of the most haunted locations in the area, each stop more chilling than the last. The history and supernatural lore were fascinating, and the guide's passion for the stories made them come to life--or should I say, the afterlife? One highlight was the visit to an old site (won't disclose location out of respect) where the air felt noticeably colder, and the sense of the paranormal was palpable. The guide shared spine-tingling anecdotes that made us glance over our shoulders more than once. The experience was both educational and terrifying, a perfect blend for those seeking a thrill. If you're into ghost stories and haunted places, this tour is a must-do. Just make sure to keep an eye out for anything unusual--you never know what might be lurking in the shadows.Highly recommended for anyone looking for a hair-raising adventure. Five stars!

Enjoyable tours and experience We joined two tours with Lopaka, the Master Storyteller. I wanted to do all four of his tours but our schedule and short visit to the islands only allowed for two. I've always been fascinated with legends and folklores of Hawaii. Is Hawaii haunted? For sure!!Waikiki Night Marchers Ghost Tour (Wednesday) - only a handful of us this evening (6) but it was nice because we didn't have to crowd around each other and the tour felt more personal. We met at the Kapiolani Park Bandstand on Kalakaua Ave. At the end of our tour Lopaka prayed in Hawaiian... it was beautiful listening to the language.Ghosts of Old Honolulu Walking Tour (Saturday) - there were more of us in this tour this time (20+). Meeting place was at the King Kamehameha statue in front of the Hawaii Supreme Court Building. We enjoyed the tours because our master storyteller doesn't take us all over the place. Walking is only short distances from different points while he tells us his stories. We enjoyed the experiences and how he brought the stories to life. Gave me goosebumps sometimes. When husband and I join ghost tours I'm usually the skeptic one and my hubby always seems to attract spirits... after 5 hours of flying from California, meeting an associate for lunch, hanging out with friends for dinner... we were exhausted. This ghost tour was our last activity for the day/evening. Hubby was not too excited as I was and had a "let's get this over with" attitude at the start... he was feeling okay and as we progressed with the tour he started having muscle pains on his calves, backache and developed blister making it painful for him to walk... I told him it was the Night Marchers because it looked like he didn't show interest. LoL! Mahalo, Lopaka! I want more!Review #2628

If you are looking for good storytelling and folk stories, this tour is for you. The tour was pretty cool, but I'm not sure how accurate some of the information was/a lot of it seemed far-fetched. Lopaka seemed a little bit stand-offish and it felt like he was brushing us off while talking to him after the tour. If you want to hear local legends, this is your place to hear them. If you want more, well... you won't find it.

Lopaka the master raconteur talks you through the stories of old hawaii. I took my family, who were visiting from abroad, to this tour and they just loved it. Yes we got chicken skin, but more so we left feeling so much gratitude for the hawaiian history and culture.

We enjoyed our night marchers tour! We learned a lot about Hawaiian culture and history and the stories keep you engaged the entire time. Lopaka has an excellent skill in pulling you into a story while also leaving you to make your own interpretations. My favorite part to this entire tour is that it is done respectfully and without any theatrical overdramatic 'fluff.' We will definitely be aiming to do some more tours soon!

No one comes close to how well Lopaka tells his stories. His knowledge and experiences always captivate us. Not once has he ever disappointed. We've been a several of his tours and can't get enough. He's also been able to predict some very accurate events. If ever you want the true stories of Hawaii, he is your guy.

Scheduled a tour because I heard about Lopaka on a podcast I listen to called Stories with Sapphire. Lopaka met up with me and gave me a great walking tour in an area close to where I was staying. The tour was informational, historical, and fun. Not only was I creeped out at times, because of the people around us, but I felt so much more respect for the Hawaiian people. I have so much more respect for the Hawaiian islands. I learned more about Nightmarchers and Hawaiian royals. If you're looking to support local businesses and if you're looking for a truly authentic presentation of folklore, book a tour with Mysteries of Hawaii. If you've ever heard stories of people needing to get rid of Hawaiian curses, Lopaka is someone to call. He's truly gifted and I felt as if I was spending time with a spiritual advisor. SUPPORT LOCAL! SUPPORT NATIVE HAWAIIANS!! Mahalo Lopaka!

My husband and I scheduled our Mysteries of Hawaii walking tour the first night we were on Oahu, and while I was fairly tired from a day of travel from the mainland- those feelings went away when our tour began and Lopaka began telling the history of Honolulu. Our tour group had about 20 participants, and everyone was engaged the entire time. We walked maybe a mile total, but saw four different areas that have a lot of supernatural history. Lopaka was very informational and even though we didn't have any supernatural experiences, I felt that we learned a lot about an area that now seems to be overrun by touristy spots.
