toast to 10 year wedding vow renewal, 8/24/12
10 year vow renewal on Waikiki Beach, August 24, 2012
Our island magic wedding. We were married on May 17th, 2014 by Rosemary. Best day of our lives.
My colors of my bouquet with no red. I assumed something similar would be on top of my cake. My fault for assuming.

Rev. Rosemary was a delight to work with. She made (remotely) planning our 10 year vow renewal easy; and the day itself was very special with no mistakes or logistical hiccups. She was very accommodating to last minute changes/additions for our ceremony needs. The photographer she contracted for us (Erwin) did a great job (as you can see by the pics I posted) and was very professional. He was very accommodating in helping us re-enact a picture taken with my family 9 years prior. The flowers she arranged were also beautiful. So pretty that I brought all of them home and am in process of having them preserved and put into shadowboxes.Rev. Rosemary was also very nice in blessing my husband's new wedding ring; which replaced the one that was lost in Hanauma Bay while snorkeling (shaking fist). Her blessing of the ring makes it more sentimental and important to us both as yet another Hawaii souvenir.I highly recommend Rev. Rosemary and My Hawaii Wedding for any Hawaiian destination wedding or vow renewal. She is very easy to work with, and will do everything she can to make your day easy, special and memorable.

I had chosen My Hawaii Wedding because of the wonderful reviews. And i was not disappointed. Rev Rosemary was amazing! We just got married on Saturday when Hawaii was celebrating its major parade event. So Waikiki beach and downtown was packed! We even arrived much earlier than our ceremony time on the beach but had a very hard time trying to find parking. Luckily, i called Rosemary to mention our situation and she willingly and immediately offered us a solution to park at her house which is walking distance to the beach where we were going to have our ceremony! That was so amazing of her! We finally met her, she is a wonderful and warm person, she made me and my man feel at ease and joked around to just release all our stress and worries and focus on the present and special moment. I definitely look forward to have her again when my husband and i renew our vows in the future :)

Aloha! I am writing this review based off my first and only telephone call with Rev Rosemary. I called to find out more information about what she has to offer for a beach wedding, I was left to leave a message. I received a phone call back within an hour (to me, this is a good sign that my calls will be answered or returned with a timely matter). Her energy was felt through the telephone, that's how sweet she is. She joked around (which made me feel less stressed about all my crazy questions). She thanked me for calling, leaving a message, and then asked me about what questions I may have. I asked her what beach would she recommend so that I can look up the locations online. I asked her for her opinion on having a wedding on Waikiki Beach, and she was HONEST with me and told me she didn't recommend it for me because of the amount of guests ill be having. She then gave me her recommendations.. She first suggested Makapuu beach but also let me know that it wouldn't be an ideal location for anyone with some difficulty walking because of the rocks on the beach to get to the ideal location for a wedding at this beach (thankfully she said this, because I didn't think to ask this and my soon to be mother in law would of had a difficult time). She then recommended Waimanalo beach (the way she described this beach, I knew this was where I would want my wedding). She described this beach as having turquoise water and white beach sand (exactly what I was looking for). Since location was pretty much set for me (just wanted to get my fiancé's opinion first) I then let her know that after looking at all her packages on her website... I wanted the most deluxe package she had to offer. BUT I also let her know that I wanted to add a arch and hair and make up for myself (these things are not included in the deluxe package). She let me know that my wedding would be customizable and anything can be added. She recommended seating for my guests (I appreciated her thoughtfulness for my soon to be mother in law). I let her know my concerns about wanting to make an aisle for me to walk down and my worry and fears about my fiancé seeing me prior to our wedding (which is a big deal for me) and she made sure my worries was set free. :) Before ending our conversation I asked about her deposit policy. She let me know that she is in no hurry for money and that any amount would be fine to hold my date!!!! MUSIC TO MY EARS! How often do you find someone who is not all about money and timelines?!?! She also let me know that we can do a deposit for our wedding whenever we wanted to go towards our wedding....basically she let me know that I didn't have to pay in full and that I can basically do payments!!!!! I knew after hearing that she was in no rush for my deposit, that I didn't have to pay in full, packages are customizable, I can have an aisle to walk down, my fiancé wouldn't see me prior to me walking down the aisle and most of all...that my son who is biologically not my fiancé's son WILL be INCLUDED in our wedding ceremony... That this is the person and company I want to have MY DREAM HAWAII BEACH WEDDING!!!!!THANK YOU SO MUCH REV ROSEMARY!!!! I am so thankful to have landed on your website. I will for sure recommend you to any friends or family that want a Hawaii beach wedding. I will UPDATE after we have our wedding.... AUGUST 1st, 2015!!!! (Yes, I know it's a long ways from now..) MAHALO

It has taken me nearly a year to write my review. Rosemary was always lovely over the phone. I wished I would have gotten to meet her on my wedding day after talking to her for months prior to my big day, unfortunately she had to be in California at the time. I remember during our planning mentioning I wanted color on my arch. I even sent pictures from her website. I was willing to pay more because I was told that would be extra. So as I'm walking to the beach my expression when i noticed the plain white arch is now captured on my wedding picures. I also was surprised the actual wedding was on the beach. I got the impression there was grass and beach in the background. I told guest they wouldn't be on sand so they knew what shoes to wear. Another surprise for me and my guest. I even paid extra to have a larger wedding cake to be served there at the location... well the fill in lady wasn't aware of this fact. And this cake.... wow there were red hibiscus flowers with bugs on them and what looked like red rose petals on top. I never mention the color red, nor did I have red in my bouquet. It just clashed completely with my colors of my bouquet. I have another picture of looking disappointed. Even my poor flower girl is looking hungry at this cake waiting for her slice. Oh and during the ceremony the fill in Mary I believe instructed us to kiss, mind you i have my bouquet in my hand.. never told me hand to maid of honor so now my wedding kiss photo was blocked by my flowers. Sigh, lastly she tells us to walk around and I think we are done... nope come back for sand ceremony that I'm assuming she forgot about. She seemed like she was winging it. Would it have turned out differently if Rosemary would have been there, I'm not sure. If i had it to do all over again i would have kept on mentioning every single detail with Rosemary. Wish my details would have been written down on her end too. I was impressed with Rosemary's call the next day to see how things went. Plus I was not charged for mess up on cake serving.
