Saturday brunch with the family. If you're ever in Kapolei, this place is a must. When we got here, it didn't seem like there was a long wait. I had to go inside to put down my name, then they got my number so they could text when our table was ready. We waited for about 20 minutes, which flew by quickly for us because we walked around and were able to use the bathroom out and upstairs (no restrooms inside).Once seated, our drink order was taken first, and I got my hot coffee fairly quickly. I love how the cream was the pump one and it stayed at our table. We ordered our food after and that also came fairly quickly.I had the corned beef, and that was YUM! I love how it was brisket style so the beef were huge bite sizes. I really enjoyed it. My family also shared the pancakes and kalbi, and those were just as delicious. I love how the syrup/cream on the pancakes were just right and not over sweet. It was just right where it didn't clash the actual pancakes. Perfect to share amongst us 4.Looking forward to our next meal here :)

Alright, I went back in and this time they definitely earned another star . A couple things I've learned: the pancake flight is a MUST GET!! You don't have to eat the whole thing you can always share it with your group. It was a great ending sweet treat to our meal. 9/10With the Beast, I ordered an extra side of hollandaise sauce to make it actually smothered with the hollandaise sauce. That made all the difference. It made it a 9/10 for me. My friend ordered a rice dish and the fried rice was over the top amazing. 10/10!! As always got a simple black coffee which was smooth and not acidic! The only reason I could not give them the 5th star was sadly the serve this time was not good, not friendly, no aloha love. Total 180 from last time. Truly sad. But that won't keep us away, everyone has a bad day. So here's to next time!

You know, this is a cute cafe tucked into the elbow of a strip mall in Kapolei, and oftentimes there is a standing wait outside, but I feel, after eating here 5-6 times, that the food could be better. There are a few items on the menu that really catch the attention, but the execution should match in flavor expectations, for example, take anything flavored like lilikoi.... It should taste like lilikoi. If you say lilikoi cream, or spread, or syrup, or jelly, it better have some aspects of lilikoi! Same with Ube. Same with hollandaise. A note on pancakes...the inside needs to be cooked. If the grill is hot enough you can sear the outside producing a nice look while it's tastes of raw flower on the inside, and I don't care how much Madagascar vanilla you put in the batter, its still raw. I could go on.Prices: if you are not prepared to pay prices like eggsnthings in waikiki, perhaps try a different venue. I like button up cafe and guieb.Service is okay. The staff are nice. Overall just MEH. I decided that there were too many other places to go than to eat here past the times I did. You may love it. Go try.

Last time I dined in, wait time was nearly an hour so I opted for takeout since I know it gets crazy busy. Ordered malasadas pancakes and flight of pancakes which consist of cookie butter, chocolate taro haupia and lilikoi flavored cream sauce. I like that the sauce isn't overpowered with a strong sweet taste and has a light taste to it. Makes the pancakes a lot more enjoyable knowing it isn't just for sweet tooth's. The malasadas pancake is just as you imagine. Like eating a malasadas with some crisp edges to it.

Fortunately, there was no line on a Thursday morning at 10:45. I finally got to try this place after reading many positive Yelp reviews. I ordered the Flight of Pancakes and my gf got the Keiki plate. Tip: the Keiki plate portion is a like full size plate for most adults. The regular plates have huge portions. The Flight of Pancakes consists of Mini style Cookie Butta Luva, Chocolate Taro-haupia, &Lilikoi pancakes. This place is known for pancakes they didn't disappoint. There were delicious! Got a side order of bacon and were tasty thick strips. The service was awesome. Staff greets you and are courteous and friendly. They serve water with a carafe left at your table. The hot tea was served in huge mugs. They have plexiglass partitions between tables to help isolate you in this cozy place. I definitely recommend this place and will be back.

Seating is very limited here. I always feel lucky when the wait is short, and I feel blessed when there's no wait at all. Either way, it's worth it. I've tried a few different things on their menu, and I keep going back for the veggie fried rice, BEAST, bagel breakfast sandwich, kalua hash, Jalisco.......I guess I just keep going back. Sometimes I'll get a malasada pancake or the flight of pancakes for dessert. My mom never leaves without the avolicious smoothie. Orders and payment are taken tableside; a carafe of iced water is placed on the table; the coffee mug is huge. Servers tend to be friendly and efficient even while busy. I don't prefer take out from here...just hang tight for a table and eat in.

Reasonable prices, extensive menu. Loved my loco moco. Definitely a popular local hole in the wall. Way better than the resort restaurants. Worth the drive and search.

Can I say stellar breakfast? Yes I can. This little breakfast spot has anything you might want for breakfast. Our first time here while vacationing so we wanted to try a little of everything.. We ordered an acai bowl with peanut butter, the bowl was delicious, acai is more like a sorbet, with ample fruit and crunchy granola, everyone liked it! Chocolate chip pancakes- these were my son's, but we all had a bite. Excellent. The pancakes are light and fluffy, not too many chocolate chips, so good. Furikake salmon, with sweet ginger soy sauce and breakfast potatoes. Great crispy salmon, and the truffle Parmesan breakfast potatoes are awesome!Biscuits and chorizo gravy, very good, and great portion size, really good flavor. Kama'aina fried rice - my boys loved this! With the spam, bacon and sausage in the rice; and the over easy egg - delishLast, and best bites were the flight of pancakes, mini cookie butta - again perfect pancakes, light and fluffy, and the cookie butter sauce is amazing, not to sweet. Chocolate-taro pancake, is a little more dense and not too sweet and so yummy! Malasada pancake - crispy sugar coated cake with vanilla custard- think donut cake, absolutely amazing, and not to heavy, it was light and freaking delicious! We loved our experience here and if we lived on the Island we would definitely be back!

We ordered the Loco Moco with fried rice, Lox Benedict, and the Loaded French Toast online via the app. Ordering on the app was very easy and had no issues ordering. The time from placing the order to picking up the order was quick (within 20 minutes). Picking up is also easy as your order is ready at the door by the time you pick it up.Now, review on the food. First, Loco Moco with fried rice. The egg was runny on arrival and wasn't overcooked. Everyone loves a good runny yoke over the patty, so that was a plus. The rice itself was flavorful and did not skimp on the flavor. Second, next time I'll order the Lox Benedict without capers, but that's just a preference. The amount of lox to egg to bread was an even ratio. The egg yoke was runny and the English muffin was toasted well. Third, the Loaded French Toast was a little underwhelming. The toast itself seemed a dry in my opinion, it could use a hit of syrup of some sort. Maybe next time, I'll ask for some syrup. They do have a haupia sauce that they include, but when I think of French toast, I think of moist gooey carb heaven. Overall, the experience was pleasant and would recommend if you're feeling like you're in the "brunch" mood. Their serving sizes are plentiful and perfect to share between two. 5/5 would recommend, will definitely be back!

This place is a small place with not a lot of tables, so usually there is a bit of a wait. On a Saturday, we had to wait about 30 - 40 mins for a table. To begin, I got coffee. It was okay, it was macadamia nut flavor. Wish they did free refills, epically since the coffee is expensive for a cup. It costs extra for a refill. The pancakes were good, it's nice they have a flight of them to try other flavors. You are able to pick any of the flavors on the menu for the flight. We switched out Lilikoi for malasada pancake. We got the big version of the taro pancake. I know it's chocolate taro but it was very underwhelming the taro flavor. I can't say I even tasted it much. I mostly tasted the chocolate.I really liked the garlic Parmesan potatoes, I would come back just to get them again. They were crispy and had a strong delicious garlic flavor. Overall I would come again but maybe try something new.
