I just had the mini bbq chicken for lunch today. I want to say that based on this first tasting, the taste is better than Soon's (Moanalua Shopping Center), Yummy's (Ala Moana Food Court), and Young's Kalbee (Aiea Shopping Center). I will try it again and update.Yummy's (Ala Moana) is inconsistent. Young's Kalbee is more on the grilled flavor and Soon's is shoyu style, similar to My B.B.Q.

Nothing much to comment on. Had the mini meat jhun. Doesn't seem much time & effort put into the entrees. Sides could be better tasting.

This is a pretty popular Korean food lunch spot in downtown so except a line when coming during weekday lunch hours. I ordered the seafood soup with comes with rice and 2 sides. The soup was hot and perfect for a cold gloomy day. I really like their Kimchee but choose their daikon and kimchee cucumber this visit and those sides were equally delicious. Service is always pretty fast even when they are busy.

No idea how you serve Kalbi without Korean BBQ sauce. Was some kind of soy sauce. Very disappointed. When your name is My BBQ? Maybe try something else. Kalbi was missing sauce.

This has been my go-to Korean BBQ in downtown for years. I usually get the mini meat jun. Mini plates come with 2 choices of vegetables. The meat jun is soft and tasty. This place does get busy during lunch so if you're short of time, best to call in your order first. If I'm not eating back in the office, I would eat at the tables by this place. The tables are normal height but the chairs are pretty low. It's a rather odd setup.

If you're in downtown area near Bishop Street close to Jack-in-the Box, this is a decent Korean bbq place. It's strictly takeout place. There's no sitting area. I got the mini meat jun plate with 2 choices: sliced daikon and fishcake for $10 and some change. They have variety of side dishes here. I came here shortly after 11am so it wasn't too busy but people started coming after I ordered. The service was efficient. My order didn't take more than 10 minutes. Meat jun came with a shoyu sauce with gingerly flavor. The sauce added yummy flavor the meat jun. I hope to return and try other things.

If you're working in downtown Honolulu and want some Korean BBQ, this place is your go to destination. It's located Tamarind Park in downtown Honolulu. This spot is one of my coworker and I's favorite lunch spots to go to. The service here is very exceptional. Between the two ladies in the front, they seem like they got everything under control which is a good thing because during the lunch rush hour, it can get very busy and you can expect lines out the door. This restaurant has no seating area inside, but there are a lot of tables and seats outside. The food here is pretty great too. I usually order their fried chicken and it is one of the best fried chicken I've had. I feel like they incorporate a little hint of curry in their batter. I could eat their fried chicken all day, err day. I've also tried their pork cutlet which also is flavorful. The batter/meat ratio is a perfect balance. Overall, this has been one of my go to spots in downtown and I definitely recommend if you want flavorful Korean BBQ

Today was my first time coming here, and I will definitely be a repeat customer after today! Quick and friendly service and so yummy! I demolished my fried chicken before I got any pictures, but it was so fresh, hot, and crisped to perfection! Their sauce and the banchan are also fantastic! I am a mac salad and kimchi fanatic, and no surprise to say, both of them are the best I've tried in a while! I can't wait to try their bibimbap and miyeokguk next time Thank you, My BBQ

I had the mandoo kook with 2 vegetables and was pleasantly surprised how good it was. They gave about 10 mandoo in a seaweed broth that was very flavorful. Would definitely recommend for the price.
