My friend took me here and it's such a cute hole in the wall coffee shop, but we found out they are CLOSING TODAY (7/20/24)! So we had to stop by. ***What I ordered ~ **Oat Milk Latte Toasted Marshmallow (10/10) ~ This was sweetened to perfection where I could taste the espresso! It had a nice balance of bitter and sweet. I'm not sure if I could taste the toasted marshmallow, it was more like a Smokey vanilla to me haha. Overall,Really good and reasonable and would totally come back again! Hope they open another location!

Had to check it out due to the other reviews. Followed GPS and was looking for the yellow dumpster everyone else mentioned - it's gone. Didn't see any signs but saw "Da Ohana Kine Snack Shop" and thought I'd pop in out of curiosity I like to support local. Surprise - the coffee shop is inside!!Ordered a large dry soy cappuccino. It's on point. He even managed to get the soy to froth, which is talent in itself. Some people walked in after me so I couldn't chat but as a one-man show he is definitely doing the hustle! My order was out quickly. They have other drinks I'm interested in trying. There are only a few tables and chairs so this isn't really a hang out place. But it is worth finding and stopping in.

***4.5 STARS***Earlier this week it was agreed to meet up at 7am for coffee on Prince Kuhio Day as a bunch of us had either the day off, a flexible schedule or retired. Waking up that early on a my precious off? It was worth it. You see, Auntie (aka Nadine C.) often preaches to support small local businesses as well as for us to try a new business. My biological clock is set to wake up at 530am daily so it wasn't hard to gather up with my friends. Located on the Makai side S King St that's between McDonald's and UH FCU, Mr. Coffee and Bean Head (CBH) opened in Feb 2024 serving an array of hot and cold coffees and teas where you can customize it with various milk products and sweeteners. CBH shares the same space as Ohana Kine Snack Shop.I gave up coffee years ago so I ended up getting a matcha latte with whole milk and the suggested ube sweetener but 1/2 sweetness. This is something the barista had personally tried and recommended. It's a one person show here so our drinks were prepared one by one according to the order sequence. I was having a great time catching up with friends and I was in no rush. But it didn't seem that we waited long before our drinks were made. I took a sip and enjoyed the richness of whole milk usage but I found the matcha essence was on the weaker side. After a couple of sips my drink wasn't cold enough so I asked for more ice where the barista added more ice. I enjoyed the ambiance at CBH as I found the business well lit, clean, limited decor and a few tables to give patrons the option to dine in and enjoy a cup of Jo. The barista was friendly and provided great customer service. Overall, an above average experience where I'd be game to return. Next time I'll ask the barista to add more matcha powder for the flavor that I was looking for. 2024 #30

Coffee in Moiliili, Honolulu, Hawaii...This Hot New Business is worth finding!I was standing in the parking lot, looking up (at the second floor) at the advertisements for Da Ohana Kine Snack Shop when the owner of Mr. Coffee Bean Head came outside to show me where the shop was!LOCATION: in the corner of the building, on the ground floor... currently behind the yellow dumpster (the building is undergoing renovation)... between Texas Fujiyama and Paradise Leis. This is the former location of Anyplace Lounge. Mr. Coffee Bean Head shares the space with Da Ohana Kine Snack Shop. SERVICE: the owner is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about his Coffee! I'm sure that one of my Coffee connoisseur friends will appreciate the effort and special information... I'll bring her in a few days!MY ORDER: Hawaiian Latte (hot) and Matcha Latte (iced). These premium drinks are made with much care! Ingredients are high-quality! I could tell because the matcha was thicker than other places and the Lattes were stronger and not watered down!Thank you for the sample of cold brew! I was given a taste when I commented on the authentic gravity activated method display. It's a very cool retro glass setup! Go see it for yourself!

I've pretty much been coming here at least 1-2 times a week since Uncle Neal opened up shop near Fujiyama Texas. My favorite item on the menu is definitely the Filthy Chai! I'm usually not a huge fan of chai, but there's something about Uncle Neal's magic touch that makes it so addicting! And because we come here so often... my boyfriend once suggested Uncle Neal name a triple shot chai, "Nasty Chai," and now it's unofficially on the menu so now you know, he's willing to satisfy all you coffee addicts!

I've bookmarked this location from early February and finally made it in probably a month later. I was instantly sold when I saw they used sage ice cream for the floats that I ended up showing up that same day! Lol! They are located in the same complex as texas Fujiyama. There's tons of parking since they're operating in the daytime when most of the businesses are open later in the day. They are also tucked in a corner behind a huge yellow garbage can, lol! Inside is very cozy. There is two tables - one that could seat 4 people and the other that can accommodate 2 guests that's right where you pay for your drinks. I think If the waffle dog menu board was mounted on the wall then they could use that extra table as seating and move some tables over for space. The owner Neal was very nice and really cares about his customers and makes sure that you're leaving satisfied. I opted for the cold brew float - I think it was $7 which isn't bad honestly considering how expensive sage ice cream is and that other coffee shops sells their drinks for a lot more and it doesn't even have ice cream in it. If you also have a dog - you can ask for a pupachino in either pistachio or plain. Simba got both of course and demanded it (he was a very rude guest). I almost disowned him that day for being so rude. To be honest with you - I live in kaimuki where there are tons of coffee shops around me, but this one is quite the gem in terms of service and quality level. Don't let the exterior fool you - this spot is not one to miss. You can also follow along our food adventures on ig - simba_and_nala_808 and foodie.in.Hawaii

Well, I just happened to see this new business. Upon entering the door for Da Ohana Kine snack shop, there was a sign for this coffee shop. Friendly greeting and a smile. I order a Mocha blended while my wife ordered two KC waffle dogs at the Da Kind Snack counter. The two businesses share the same space. I didn't notice a sign at the door front. Enjoy

Something is definitely brewing here...Mr Coffee Bean Head apparently is another former Ohana Hale Marketplace vendor which sadly I don't remember at all has found itself in Mo'ili'ili along with Da Ohana Kine Snack Shop as they share a space together along with Alohilani Nic Naks which I'm told is also another former OHM biz. Quite difficult to find as their shop is hidden behind a dumpster but is in part id a space once occupied Anyplace who has relocated down the street.Mr. Coffee Bean Head is a delight and super friendly offering the variety of drinks though it was the Matcha Latte that definitely one I must try and he asked I wanted it sweetened since it's a Japanese Matcha which is unsweetned which got me more excited to give it a try along with Almond Milk it was a delightful smooth sip and loved that bite it gives. I'm am so excited knowing I have something like this in the area and am so glad a friend has met me here to give them a try.Granted it is a shared space and there are a couple of tables in there though it seems like there were a few friends showing support hanging out so it felt a bit awkward even though they were absolutely a delight, I just enjoyed most of it with my errands and will definitely will be back to try other items.Thank you!

Wait, what?! They're closed?! I'm so sad!!! I really do hope Me Coffee Bean Head opens up again ASAP. Though I came here only once, I was very pleased with the way my coffee drink tasted. It was refreshing and delicious! Please open back up!
