Whenever the family want shave ice this is the spot Flavors are bold and cut through the ice.Staff are patient. They all have neutral faces and don't really smile too much.No where to sit but your vehicle or curb! Which is cool with us as they have a lot of shade.

Cash Only! But the best shave ice imo! I always try to change it up here and there flavor wise. But can't ever forget the mochi and snowcap. If it's one of those hotter days I'll add the ice cream too!

Super finely grated shave ice!! The ice melts in your mouth because of how fine it is. They offer a wide variety of flavors, so there is definitely something for everyone. :-) We ordered the keiki sized cup with lilikoi, haupia, and POG. The flavor on the lilikoi was a bit lighter than expected and hard to distinguish from the POG. Otherwise, it makes for the perfect dessert to cool down.The price is very reasonable. Be aware that it is cash only!! The service was super quick and friendly.

How the heck was their ice so fine yet they're able to cover every crevice with syrup???? No clue but it is so refreshing in Hawaii weather where it's literally always hot. They're located on the lower half of the Waikele Outlets. They have a decent amount of flavors and you can mix-match aka get multiple flavors in one! Their keiki size is perfect for one person and can easily cool you down. There is no seating area so you can either take it back to your car, look for a shaded area, or walk around the outlet while munching. Pretty affordable for what you're getting -- just note that it is cash only!

Never been happier to have cash on me and buy shave ice on a whim - possibly the best decision to get it from here because the shave ice was GIVINGGGGG!The only thing I fell short of was not getting ice cream in it!There was a good sized line when I got there but had my order in ~5 mins. I can't wait to go back and try it with ice cream and ALL THE TOPPINGS next time!

This place was so good we came twice on our short trip.They have plenty of flavors, price is very reasonable, the ice was very fine, and if you order mochi, they put some in top as well as throughout the ice. They also have the options of red bean, li hing mui powder and ice cream and condensed milk which we got.The only downside was the first time we went there, they accidentally put li hing powder on top, which we did not order. I wouldn't have mind but we had a bunch of condensed milk on it that just thought would clash with the li hing. They noticed they messed up so they said they would remake it, which we really appreciated. While we were eating the new ice, there was a bunch of li hing powder in the middle, messed with the flavors a bit for me. We didn't say anything, but why say you were gonna remake it if you just took the top off and put a little new ice on it?We'd still come back. And we did. And I've already told my loved ones this was better than the "more popular/touristy" spot on the north shore.

I recently drove all the way to Makaha for Mountain Magic shave ice (and poke tacos....iykyk) and while it was good, I don't think I'd drive that far just for shave ice. Thankfully Mountain Magic Shave Ice has a little shave ice wagon in the parking lot of lower Waikele! So after work on particularly hot days I drive over to Waikele usually for starbucks, but from now on I will be going to Mountain Magic. The Lychee cream flavor is so good. I can't even explain how good it is. The ice is shaved super fine so its soft. I add mochi balls and condensed milk too, but you really don't have to. It's a bit on the pricier side if you want all the fancy things. The lychee cream syrup is like a premium syrup so its $1 extra. Mochi balls ar $1 extra and condensed milk is $1 extra. so it's like $9 for a small when it all adds up.There wasn't much of a line, but a few people came to order while I was there. They get good business here I think. There is plenty of parking, 3 people working the shave ice stand and they are efficient.It's also cash only so make sure you bring your dolla bills!

This shave ice spot is my absolute FAVORITE when wrapping up my beach day. I've seen this business grow from bottom up. From their first shack being right besides sports authority in Waikele & now alongside the other food trucks/stands in the parking lot adjacent to banana republic (back facing towards the H-1 Freeway) just a few yards down from their original location.Please note: this business is CASH ONLY!! The nearest ATM is in PROFESSIONAILS for a small charge incase you were to forget! My favorite flavors that I always recommend to others are Melona, Lychee, and Blue Hawaii (my personal go-to's). Some days I can also get into a mood where I switch it up for green river, li-hing, and/or cotton candy. Truly you could never go wrong, all flavors are spectacular and does a fairly great job to being similar to the expected tasting. The ice is soft & melts in your mouth - similar consistency to bingsu (Korean dessert). The mochi balls are always a plus! So yummy & fluffy - perfect treat that blends perfectly with this dessert. I wish I were able to top this off with a snow cap (condensed milk) especially because I'm a sweet tooth! So yummy & that's the best way to enjoy .Lots of parking located near these food trucks & many options for plate lunches to browse around. The line may be long throughout the day but the service is fast & efficient - absolutely worth the wait! Customer service is top tier & always willing to clarify certain flavors - tourist friendly!! Mountain Magic Shave Ice NEVER disappoints - truly a local favorite in my opinion!

Love how simple the shave ice stand is. It's nestled amongst other food stands. The ice is soft and tasty that I damn near had to fight my wife over who got control over the spoon. Cooler heads prevailed and she finally relinquished the spoon to me! Just kidding.. we asked for a second spoon.Parking is ample but a pain to get to on a busy weekend because the carts are nestled in the back of a parking lot of a busy shopping center. This passed the Yummy Certified test!
