Moon Physical Therapy

I truly loved the therapy I got from Moon Therapy. Julie is Amazing! I've been coming here for years when my arthritis is really bad. It's the only place that's made a difference because of it endless water pools that allows me to move my joints and increases my mobility without any pain. I don't know if any place other than one skilled nursing rehab (and you have to be admitted) that utilizes advanced water therapy at comfortable temperatures. I'm so happy they have been around for many years now and even expanded!Thank you!

Moon Physical Therapy is the place to be! The staff are VERY courteous and make you feel like a part of the family rather than a patient. Julie and her PTA are knowledgeable and will safely guide you in your recovery and pursuit of your desired goals. This therapy experience is THE MOST comprehensive one I have ever had. Aquatic therapy in the Hydroworx and large pool GREATLY assisted me in my recovery and allowed me to have a more dynamic experience during land-based treatment. Carl and Raydan were with me the most and kept the vibes positive even when I struggled initially. Their exercises were comfortable yet challenging; they valued my input and added/removed movements or modified them to an aggressive level to help me reach the next level in my recovery. Julie challenged me during the land-based treatment by combining several different movements into one; this was by far the most challenging yet rewarding experience; watching myself in the mirror and seeing the results of my efforts under their guidance. Kelcie and Eugene assisted me with scheduling (and rescheduling) so many appointments to accommodate my changing schedule alongside a call to confirm upcoming sessions, which helps in preventing missing an appointment. Thanks to Moon Physical Therapy, I am highly content with my results, having resumed swimming and stand-up paddling activities. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs help recovering or strengthening. Much love and thanks to Julie (the only one to have a leveler on hand), Carl, and Ray for everything! :)

The staff is very friendly and helpful and I look forward to each appointment. Being diagnosed with sciatica and barely able to walk, the Hydroworx and endless pool have been great therapy allowing me to function normally and lose weight. Highly recommend Moon Physical Therapy to help with any kind of pain.

I have been a patient for 3 years. I have always had friendly therapists. The hydroworx tank is perfect for someone with multiple disabilities. I was referred to Moon by 2 neighbors who raved about the excellent therapists at this location. I agree.

Julie is the best!!! She's petite, but don't be fooled! She's incredibly strong, especially at getting deep into the tissue. She understands the body, gives good advice and exercises to practice. They even have water therapy which is great for many. Thank you, Julie!!!! I will always recommend Moon Therapy!!! I feel so much better from the first time going to you!

I was fortunate to get an opportunity to try aqua therapy. I am convinced, for someone like me with joint issues, this is the way to go.Charlie and the staff at Ward were true professionals - accommodating, respectful and communicated well - I definitely recommend Moon Physical Therapy.

I have just completed my second round of HydroWorx & Laser physical therapy at your Kailua facility.This is not my first encounter with physical therapy at other clinics - I have had previous PT for knee, shoulder, back, hand, and post-anterior disectomy and fusion conditions.At age 76, after a year of restricted physical activity as a result of pandemic precautions, I found myself weakening and plagued by shoulder and lower back pain. I had difficulty getting out of bed; I was awakened several times a night by sharp pain in both shoulders; and my back ached while walking.My physician (Dr. Stuart Lerner) prescribed physical therapy in hopes of reducing my discomfort and rebuilding core strength.Learning about Moon PT's aqua therapy and laser treatment, I chose the Kailua Moon PT location. Admittedly, I approached the treatments with a degree of trepidation as my previous PT experiences, while helpful, had often proved to be uncomfortably challenging.However, my first session in the warm water tank of the HydroWorx device proved to be amazingly comfortable.The facility is super clean and appears to be more like a spa than a gym.As the weeks progressed, my Moon "trainers" increased the rigor and demands of the workouts and I slowly regained muscle tone, core strength, flexibility, and pain relief ( I even lost five pounds).Laser therapy following my HydroWorx sessions brought further relief. I now sleep through the night without shoulder pain; have returned to the tennis court, and walk three miles most mornings with little or no discomfort.I am extremely grateful for the personal and professional guidance/assistance provided by members of your staff with whom I worked over the past two months.

Great place to be treated and work at! Have seen multiple patients receive major relief and full recovery at my time here. Definitely recommended to anyone suffering from pain or needing physical therapy.

I have been coming here for a few months now and love it. My initial prescription was for therapy, but here's a place that has BOTH. I progressed very well in water therapy, my favorite is the hydroworx. Not only does the hydroworx allow you to really get down into the core but you do it seemingly like magic. In water, your limbs and ability to move is challenged on another level, making it easier to achieve accomplishments quicker and easier. The hydroworx is no easy feat, but if you are willing to keep on striving, progress is achieved in a relatively short time. I seem to have a block when it comes to land therapy but these guys make it easy. You do work out, but in a slower pace where everything is explained to you, step by step. Asking questions is your right and I had many. The therapists are all equally well qualified, easy to understand, easy to get to know with different personalities all geared for your comfort and progress. They love to talk story with you too! Moon Physical Therapy is owned by an amazing and genuinely caring woman, who is beautiful inside and out. Being that she's a dog lover like me, makes for an instant connection. Julie is also caring and committed to your progress in physical therapy. My greatest inspiration comes from the desire to get better! At this place with all the attention and caring, at least I have a chance to accomplish that. Thank you Moon!!
