Monarch Poke

Finding good food can be a challenge, especially when you're hungry and just want something satisfying. Luckily, Monarch Poke exceeded my expectations during my recent visit.From the moment we walked in, I noticed Jen, one of their associates, busy cleaning and ensuring everything was ready for the day. She greeted us warmly and gave us time to look over the menu before offering us a chance to sample their poke. This thoughtful touch allowed us to choose items that perfectly suited our tastes.After sampling their selection, we placed our order, which was prepared quickly. I opted for dirty rice as my base, and its rich garlic flavor paired beautifully with the two poke options I chose.Overall, our first experience at Monarch Poke was fantastic, an easy A+! If you have the chance, I highly recommend their poke sampler. With nine different options, it's perfect for sharing with friends or family. Enjoy!

The poke here is pretty good! While I felt the portions were a little small for the price, some dishes were absolutely packed with flavor. The Garlic Shrimp sauce is delicious but very salty - be prepared for a bold flavor bomb. Having rice alongside it definitely helps balance it out. Speaking of rice, I highly recommend getting their "banging rice" with any poke dish. The fried garlic mixed in adds an incredible layer of flavor I didn't know I needed.The poke itself was fresh and flavorful, but again, felt a bit light for what I paid. As for dessert, the Ube Cheesecake was a standout! It was perfectly balanced, not overly sweet or heavy and had a fantastic flavor. I'd absolutely order it again.Lastly, I have to mention the staff. They were super friendly, helpful, and even cracked a few jokes. Good food paired with great service is always a win. Definitely give this place a try. You'll enjoy their food!

Monarch poke is a locally owned poke shop located at the Pearl Kai Shopping Center. My friend and I have been wanting to check this place out, but the last time we came, they were closed for cleaning/renovations. Parking available at the strip mall and bathroom located within their establishment behind their kitchen Service & Ambience: The owner worked the register the day we went and was super sweet. We told her it was our first time there, and she offered to give us samples of the poke before ordering. We sampled the inamona as it's their specialty. She also told us that all their pokes are made fresh daily from auction block tuna. It is not the largest place, ~5 tables (4-6 seats each) decorated with beautiful murals. We did feel a bit rushed to finish as it got busy and a lot of the other guests also wanted to sit down. TPrice: $$. Poke bowls and poke by weight are charged at market price for the day. On the day we went, it was ~$18-19 for a half pound, which is pretty standard pricing for fresh poke lately (getting more expensive lately) Food: My friend opted for Poke Nachos with 1/2 pound inamona, and I opted for a quarter pound of crispy garlic chili oil and a quarter pound of inamona The Inamona is made with green onions, onions, limu, and light sauce that doesn't overpower the taste of the fresh ahi. It was highly recommended by the owner and another family dining in the shop, and it did not disappoint. The Crispy garlic chili oil poke, however, was a bit too oily, and the crispy toppings became a bit soggy. It was still delicious with ample garlic and mildy spicy. I personally would have also liked to be a bit spicier. Overall, I'd recommended stopping in for some fresh poke

Can't complain about this fast, fresh, and tasty poke place. Really fresh ahi and spot on flavors. We tried the shoyu and inamoni - both fantastic, and the spicy garlic (my least fave of the three but still good). We also had the bulgogi bao - soft bun, charred seasoned meat, and cucumber kimchee - yum! We ordered it with mac salad but others had fries that also looked good and homemade. A side of seaweed salad to round it out for a great lunch.

I heard about this place and wanted to try it the next time I was craving poke nachos. I wasn't sure what fish to order so I asked the worker what she recommended. She told me the chili garlic poke was pretty popular and she let me sample. It was so good so I chose that for my nachos. It had a lot of flavor and it was crunchy with a little kick but not overly spicy. The poke was so fresh. The wun tun chips were perfect and tasted like they just came out of the fryer. I liked that they added avocado and tomato to the nachos. I ordered a small nachos but the portions are huge!

We were in the area and wanted to try Monarch Poke. It's in a large plaza with a lot of different businesses all sharing the parking lot. No issue with parking.The place was upbeat, and simply decorated. Colorful illustrations of sea creatures. One restroom in the back by the kitchen. The owner was super nice and friendly!They have a good variety of bowls, etc. I just stopped in to get some Poke by the pound.Inamona Poke - flavorful and classic, letting the fish alone shine.Furikake Salmon - simple, light flavor of the furikake.Congratulations on 2+years of business. We wish you continued success.

This is my thrid time eating here. Poke nachos, Mahi sandwich, Katsu sandwich, crispy fries, all delicious. Did I mention great & friendly service. Yes, absolutely !!! Great to see you Adam !!!

Truly could not recommend this place more highly. The service is always top notch- they are SO friendly and happy to explain your options and let you try any of the poke flavors, even encouraging you to do so. We have been twice and tried several different things, and we are eager to go back to try even more. The dirty rice (garlic rice) is SO GOOD in the poke bowls, the Poke Nachos (even a half order!) are massive and delicious with large chunks of fresh avocado and plenty of poke, the pork belly great. I'm really not sure if you could go wrong with anything here.

Located at the Pearl Kai shopping center next to Baskin Robins. Restaurant is clean and well maintained. Even the kitchen is clean so you know the food is excellent. Staff is friendly. They have a wide variety of poke to choose from. There's also plate lunches and nachos which looked really good. Gotta try it next time we go. The salmon poke was excellent. The toppings that come with the poke bowl were a nice complement to the bowl. The spicy ahi I thought was a bit spicier than other places. I didn't mind it but my wife noticed. Overall, Monarch Poke is an excellent place for fish. Yes, it is a bit more than Foodland but the fish is fresh and the atmosphere is more inviting.

okay wow. Y'all need to run fast to this place. If you don't like Poke, that's fine, their KATSU and garlic butter shrimp are to die for. That garlic butter shrimp was the best I ever had and I could've eaten it for every meal my entire trip. I also loved the poke. We got to sample them as well and shoyu was my favorite but the California was a close second. Sadly, it was too spicy for me but if I could handle spice, I would've gotten California poke! We also got the poke nachos and there was so much poke and sauce and toppings and all were well portioned throughout the plate. Also, I wasn't expecting this but their fries were delicious! They were so crispy but also had good flavor so if you have a picky kid, get them the fries! 50/10 highly recommend PLEASE check them out!
