A cute little thrift store that helps the community through services as well. Parking in between the store and Down To Earth. Must wear mask since they work with the elderly.

Mo'ili'ili will always have a special place in my heart...Not so sure what's going on now but back in the day they were filled with classes for all ages and mine was learning Japanese here at the Community Center. Every day after school I'd come here for class and it's not only Japanese but the culture as well with origami, writing kanji with the brush pen "shodo" called "shūji" including other arts the my mom still treasure to this day.I've had difficulty visiting here as they closer early 10am to 3pm daily with exception of Sunday and Monday are closed, donations are accepted on Mondays (can be dropped of at the main office) & Fridays only.Well to the shop...not exactly sure if you can call this a thrift store though it is used I couldn't really say it's at a cheaper price but then again they are a non-profit organization and I know growing up here it's a fabulous place for us all.The thrift store is neatly organized for having a bunch of items...everything from clothing, houseware, kitchen items, craft, plants and even beanie babies. Sadly I didn't find anything that would fit my needs though will keep this place in mind for future donations as recycled and re-usable items looking for a new home is best used. You must have a mask to enter as this a very small place and I'm sure they appreciate it.Thank you!

This shop is so small with so much stuff to go through. I spent about an hour just looking around. I did find a few items I been searching for. When I went in November they still required a fave mask. Small parking lot next to building. Prices are reasonable

Thrift stores are for those who like to be thrifty! This store is not thrifty at all!I've passed by the Mo'ili'ili Community Center Thrift Store countless times, but have never stepped foot inside till now. It's been here for a long, long time along South King Street right before University Ave, past Star Market.... I mean, Longs. It's only open Tuesday to Saturday from 10am-3pm. There's a parking lot. You need to turn into the driveway as if you were going to Down To Earth, but take the immediate left and the lot is on your left, and enter the store street side. It's a small store, and allows only three customers at a time with a 30 minute time limit. Temperature check at the door. There's a good amount of clothes, dinner and kitchenware, and a whole corner of sewing items. Everything was organized well. There were some interesting items, but they were bafflingly overpriced compared to other thrift stores and Goodwill or Savers. My wife did find a couple of things. Spent $1.75. Tax was unexpectedly charged too! I never had to pay tax at thrift stores with volunteer workers. Speaking of these volunteers, the one who took our temperature and greeted us at the door was welcoming and friendly while the cashier was not friendly and pretty much frowned during the whole process.Overall, I recommend other thrift stores as this place has more trash than treasure and higher, non-thrifty level prices.

Fun eclectic mix of items...found some gems! Staff are very nice and helpful. Merchandise is pretty much fairly priced. Once you figure it out, there is a parking lot, too!

From Mondays to Saturdays, thrift store hours are from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. After store hours, people can drop off merchandise to MCC's office. The last time that I came here was last year to donate clothing that doesn't fit. Today, I brought my clothing and other stuffs because I have to follow Marie Kondo way of decluttering my room.It looks like a small shop but they have unique items for a one stop shop of merchandise for bargain hunters. One of my friend John found 4 Tupperware cups with covers so cool. He likes to find unique merchandise. In back area of store, there were some new items such Red Heart yarn with Woolworths price sticker and homemade crafts that are made by people.I definitely will come back again to see I can find unique items.Parking on right of thrift shop and back lot in front of MCC building.

I've been needing a picnic blanket for the summer, and a walk away from where I live, this was the perfect place to try and search for it at! Located in the heart of Honolulu, Mo'ili'ili is a stop you should look at if ever in that area. This establishment is open on M-Sat from 10a-3p. Only three people are allowed but, you can only spend 30 minutes in there. Covid protocols in act which is great, it protects both workers and customers. Temperature is taken as you walk in as well. It's a fairly small place but organized (organized.. in a.. thrift store way x) so you might be able to find what you're looking for in the designated area. Sewing in the back, ladies and men's clothes across from one another, kitchenware in the middle, etc. there are items that seemed expensive for a thrift store (clothing items I've looked at, certain tote bags, etc.) but the more smaller items such as their variety of blankets, cutlery and books, are of course, at thrift store prices.I was helped by a sweet lady, as she mentioned that the blanket I bought was something she wanted to get herself, I apologized, but she responded kindly, "no no don't worry, you guys come first." So, that's my customer service experience. I recommend that those looking for general items, or perhaps a vintage piece you don't mind spending a bit on (I know for sure Depop sells vintage type clothing at similar price points so this didnt phase me) , to come and check this place out. It's next to Down to Earth so, maybe if you're shopping there go ahead and take a look. The most you'll wait is 30 minutes as we all have that amount for shopping.

I really disliked it when my friend said, "I lost so much weight that I need new clothes!" ARG! I just needed some space and drove her to this Thrift Shop at her request. This small store is full of valuable treasures! There seems to be a pretty good selection of Japanese collectibles, especially dishes and figurines. My friend likes the clothing here. She found a suit and some sweaters for her mainland job, along with some Aloha shirts for her husband and sons. In the past, my cousin had found a hapi coat for herself! I just browse through the housewares, craft items, jewelry, live plants, and books. Everything is sorted well and displayed appropriately. Service by volunteers is pleasant and friendly. Parking is free in the adjacent lot. I like to patronize this shop because my organization used to use the classrooms (in the next building) for meetings!

This is a pretty good hidden gem of a store kindof close to Waikiki. I've found some unique little items/souvenirs here that have surprised me. A tiny old-fashioned perfect condition tweety bird tea-cup set; some miniature Geisha sandals collectibles; funky furry multi colored material lei type thing for an epic outfit, among other cool items at pretty great deals! The ladies who work here are sweet and helpful. Recommend stopping in definitely whenever traveling the area.
