Mochi Momma

First Saturday at Ward today with Mochi Momma :-) The pumpkin spice and s'mores brownie butter mochi knocked me out of the park. They were so bouncy and airy, and I loved how unique the flavors were. The s'mores one had marshmallow on top and it was the perfect, fluffy addition to the brownie underneath. My friends got a butter mochi with glutinous rice on the bottom and that was sooo yummy too! Texture and flavor reminds me of Chinese sticky rice (zongzi) I used to eat as a kid :')Flavors were so on point and everything SMACKS

My friend and I went to check out Ward Village today because we were craving some donuts, and we didn't realize they had a farmers market/art & flea going on! Anyways, my friend and I were so happy that we could experience and see all the vendors gathered around in one place! One of the vendors that caught my eye was Mochi Momma!***What I got ~ **Butter Mochi Baiko (10/10)The butter mochi sitting on the Baiko was PERFECT. The consistency of the butter mochi was soft, fluffy, and sweet. Also, It paired well with the Baiko because the Baiko added a different texture and sweetness to the mochi! **Ube Baiko (9/10) The Ube was good! However, we wished we could taste more of the Ube. The Ube wasn't overpowering, but it was just a hint of it that you could taste! The Baiko sitting under the Ube mochi was good!! The Baiko added more sweetness, making it the perfect treat! Overall,Everything tasted delicious! I'm so glad I got to try both of these because I usually don't eat sweets very often, and also, it was my first-time trying Baiko! I can't wait to try something else from them!

You can't replace a good mochi. This place has great attention to detail, soft fresh and yummy. I loved the stuffed mochi. Filled with your favorite sweets.

Oh yes yes! I've never had butter mochi like this before and I will totally buy this again when I find it! I'm going to research how I can buy pans of her Ube mochi for parties -- yes it's that good!Us Filipinos make a Filipino version we call bibinka flour. So when I saw what Mochi Momma was selling I HAD to try it! I'm surprised that as a Filipino, I have never tried an Ube butter mochi beforeFor this event, she was selling two pieces for $4 each. I got the Ube, Peanut Butter and Cookies and Cream. She also had a pumpkin one and another chocolate variety.Sorry I don't have pictures because I ate them so quickly! Although I did offer to share it with my family they didn't act quickly enough and I ate the whole thing! LOLI really love Ube everything so I was so happy that she was offering this and I loved how it tasted! It was not too sweet and it was just the right texture & stickiness.Oh my gosh I really liked the peanut butter too! There's this awesome topping of peanut butter powder on it that I can't really explain very well but that really made it!The cookies and cream was very delicious and also had a powder-like, (but it's not really powder) topping! I love that I found her kiosk at a Christian Women's International Conference so I think this business owner is a Christian--that is a major plus for me!

Been craving butter mochi since my friend retired and moved to the mainland. His niece made awesome butter mochi, been craving this if I was a pregnant woman (no offense)! Stacey was super nice even gave me a sample of the ube and poi which was also delicious very well made not oily. I would highly recommend her Mochi! She even delivered! Gotta appreciate the hustle! Great presentation also would be good for gifting!

I FELL IN LOVE with this Mochi Momma as soon as I had my first sample. I randomly strolled by at the Farmers Market on our way to the westside on a Saturday morning and I literally bought as much butter mochi as I could fit in my bag. The more you buy the better the price - so why not eh? I brought a gluten free tray home to my friends who let me park my car at their place by the airport and they were thrilled. BEST. EVER. I kid you not. My mom makes some pretty good butter mochi cake, but I can easily say Mochi Momma makes it better. I only wish she could ship some out to me - it is THAT GOOD.
