Missing Polynesia

This was our first time visiting this store. We googled it and were impressed with what they had to offer. Tia greeted us with her warm smile and angelic voice. She made us feel welcome and gave us time to browse around before asking any questions. Unbelievably, the outfit I found was exactly what I was looking for. The outfit came in three happy colors and I ended up with the coral. Our daughter also found a dress albeit she was only there to support me. The prices were competitive to what you'd pay at other Polynesian stores. The store is not a large one but there's a lot of items to select from (dresses, rompers, shorts, casual & elegant tops, pants, etc). We lucked out & scored a parking stall right in front of the store. Tia made us feel like part of her ohana & for that, we'll definitely be back to support this local business. Mahalo.

Great boutique. Lovely prints and the owner is super nice. It was my first time at the store and the owner was very welcoming and helped me with my selections. I will definitely be back when the new designs come out.

We found it! Lol idk wth I was driving and Siri only got me to the parking lot shack thing. So I was happy we found this beautiful store.Plenty parking but stalls are small. Cute boutique of original designs & pieces. Before we went we looked up their website which I wanna say is a very good , easy to use website. Online I liked the teuila design.We were greeted and I asked to see Teuila, the salesman directed us to the section.He was helpful, and patient allowing me to take pic, FaceTime, text my daughters, sons, everyone to pick and choose a color for our upcoming vacation to VEGAS!!! Lol yup we gotta represent! Hahaha So after a good 30mins going back n forth we finally decided.

Dressing rooms, really cute attire, and friendly staff! Someone totally told me how much they loved my top and asked where I got it from!! It was a little hard to find and I would like to see more variety in the future, but otherwise a really great find!!

Missing Polynesia has a unique design to all of her clothing line that represents her culture of Western Samoa, intertwined with a mix of different ethnicity of the Polynesian lineage. Her gift is explicit to what she offers and how each of her designs are created. There is alot of history behind her clothing.The material she chooses is also very comfy where it flows on your body, where you dont have to keep sucking in your stomach for a particular photo opt, you can actually go eat your favorite food and you still look fabulous! hahaha...jus sayin! I love how its either size 1 or 2: there is a size for everyone from extra small to XXXL and she also has keiki size! We love taking our family photo in her clothing design and mixing up the color because it looks more vibrant (same color - everyone looks the same and so boring) and it just captures the essence of the photo especially when we are back home against the Koolau mountains.As you walk into the store you are ALWAYS greeted with a huge smile, some hugs, and every single staff member makes you feel welcomed "Aloha Spirit." They are also their if you need assistance. Because I was there to shop for my entire ohana and I didnt want any of my kids coming with me (more stress when they are around me), I told them what I needed and what it is for and boom, within 5/10 minutes I had everything that I needed and not knowing if they will look good, if itll fit - I just had to go based on their recommendations. As you can see the photos came out beautiful and the kids were all happy...Plus, people go crazy in having that perfect outfit for their family photos & they forget the true essence of why they are taking a family photo... Now, its more about how you look versus making it enjoyable for memories to be created as an ohana. I see so many ppl stressing out because something doesnt match and forget the entire reason! Enjoy being mismatch, were imperfect Anyways! HahahaThe Sales staff are very knowledgeable of what they do and are always willing to help, even on the phone when I do my phone orders...I tell them what I want and they ask me a few more questions and they ship it and I always get compliments on her polynesian attire here in Phoenix and wherever I go! I also refer alot of my friends/family/friends Ive never met to Missing Polynesia and especially some of my clients that are going to hawaii for the first time - I say: "Do you want to look like a tourist or do you want to blend in with the locals?"usually, my answer is "I wanna blend in with da locals!" hahaha...She is one of kind and so is her entire staff! I love Missing Polynesia - so now you know...

I am SO obsessed with this store!!! So I've shopped here a few times and I've always found the cutest things. The staff is always very helpful and friendly. Well these past few days I came into Missing Polynesia on a mission to find matching outfits for my family for my Grandma's Funeral. On the first day we were helped by a girl named Harmony! She was the Sweetest person ever!! She took her time helping us, and I swear I tried the whole store on until I could find something! She checked the back for extra sizes and did everything to help us find what we were looking for! We ended up with pink and black aloha shirt for my husband and son and two pink matching dresses for my daughter and I. Well we get home and don't get me wrong my husband liked it but he said it would be too bright for a funeral (even if pink was my grandmas color) lol. On to the next day! I get to Missing Polynesia and a lady named Anna I believe was helping us, and harmony ended up helping us again too! So we had double the help this time! We ended up going with black and green for my husband and I to match, and then green and dark brown for my kids to match! It was perfect! I couldn't have done any of it without their help! I will definitely continue to shop here for clothes even if it's just for an everyday outfit or for special occasions! Thank you again to Harmony and Anna for all your help!

If you're looking for cute aloha attire that is light, vibrant, and adaptable, then this is your place. I have a few dresses from here and they are always complimented when I wear them. The sizes are stretchy so you can be fitted or flowy depending on your preference. They even have a few things for kane and keiki. The sales clerks are especially helpful. * Birthday and military discounts

First thought as I walked in was that the store was so bright and with all their bright colored clothes, I felt awake for some reason lol! And the smell! Oh man, I could stay in there forever! It smelled so good, wished I had asked what they use. Materials of the clothing! Who can say C-O-M-F-Y?! Like I could sleep in it! I probably should use it ALOT because it is more on the pricey side. The jumper I bought was $80 and my boyfriends button down was $45. But you know, it's not the ugly Aloha print or very stand out poly type. I feel like I could actually use this for casual outings so that $80 could come in handy, I guess. I would recommend this shop. The sales associates are also very friendly and helpful

Friendly attentive staff. Wide variety of styles and sizes. Feel of the clothing is so soft. Price is reasonable.
