Mini Monster Cafe

I ordered the strawberry matcha with the bear jar and it was good! The matcha had a good taste and wasn't too sweet, i thought that the strawberry added just the right amount of sweetness. Customer service was great and the barista was very knowledgeable of the menu!

Coconut matcha is one of my favorite drinks. Coconut water with a light matcha foam on top. Mini whips up the foam fresh and I requested no sugar, which they complied. This is absolutely delicious and thirst quenching. Their whole menu looks inventive and I would love to try some other drinks. Great service. It's located in the food court. Some Yelpers posted about this cute bear jar and I just had to get one. Mini Monster Cafe is at the food court at the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center. They have locations in California and Vietnam. They sell coffees, teas, milk teas, fruit drinks and matcha drinks. The hubby and I decided to share a drink because I wanted to get the bear jar and it's huge. We decided on the Sunrise Lilikoi Tea with lychee jelly. It was so good and refreshing. We got it at 100% sweetness and it was perfect for me. It was a little sweet at first, but when the ice melted it got diluted. The cashier asked if we wanted lilikoi seeds in the drink, but we declined. The drink was $5.95 plus $0.85 for the lychee jelly. The bear jar was another $6. The total was $12.80 before tax. You can bring the bear jar back and pay the price of the 24oz. drink. We will be back to try the other drinks. The Thai Tea is next on my list.

Cute boba shop located in the food court of Royal Hawaiian Center. The food court itself is pretty clean, just usually quite busy given large amounts of tourists, but plenty of seating is available.I got the taro slush with boba at 25% sweetness in the glass jar, and it came out promptly! Service was ok, it was pretty fast! I thought the drink itself was good overall, I liked the taro flavor but it was too sweet for me despite the sugar adjustment. The boba also was a little off for my taste (unsure how to describe it) but overall it was still chewy and sweet. I thought the glass jar was super cute as well. Prices are a bit steep, but that's to be expected since it's in Waikiki. I'd def be interested in coming back to try their matcha drinks and other items on the menu!

I love the trendy coconut water/ matcha foam, but unfortunately the one at mini monster cafe could be improved. First off, the added syrup is unnecessary since the harvest coconut water is sweet already. BUT props for using the best coconut water though! Another thing is there needs to be more coconut water to foam. It should be 80% coconut water and 20% foam instead of 50/50. There was a little too much foam for my taste and therefore the taste of milk overwhelmed the drink. Still good but could be better.

Good Thai tea located in food court mall. Was very surprised by the tasty drink and quick service! Next time I go to Hawaii I'll definitely come again!

Sunrise lilikoi tea was sooo refreshing! Quick service and clean counter area. Royal Hawaiian shopping center food court. Pretty decent pricing too.

Love this tea shop. Conveniently located. Creamy lemonade is refreshing on a hot day.
