I purchased my first costume made high-quality longboard from Minami Surfboard. Glen is super helpful and takes the extra time to really understand what you are looking for and what best fit for you. The board was ready within 2-3 weeks. This board was reasonable priced (lesser than market price) for a high quality product. Minami boards are great! Glenn has shaped 2 boards for my daughter and they have turned out awesome. Before he shaped her boards he sat with her to get an idea of what she needed and wanted the board to do. He even analyzed what she was currently riding and was able to come up with a plan. By the end of the consultation, he had her dialed in. Glenn is awesome!

Glenn is a very nice guy and took the time out of his busy schedule to sit down with me and help me decide on a board model, what dimensions would be best for my size and ability, and even let me ride a couple of his personal boards to try out. I decided on a custom avenger with a custom spray. The board came out way cooler than I expected it too and was exactly what I wanted. Before i was riding glenns board i was riding a stock board from a shop that was a little stiff and too big for me. After Uncle Glenn dialed me in and I got my custom, my surfing has progressed exponentially and now i know exactly what size boards I need. My board came out so good i bought another one right away for smaller waves! The boards i have now have completely changed my surfing and ive ridden a lot of different shapers boards but these are by far my favorite and most people who ride them absolutely rip!
